It starts well, then the oakmoss kicks in and, in my opinion, it gets heavy… I don’t like that idea. It has a vibe similar to Versace Dylan Blue but with oakmoss. Longevity, sillage, and projection are average… Armaf has better things and they’re cheaper in my opinion.
It starts well, then oakmoss appears and, in my opinion, ruins it; I don’t like the idea. It has an air of Versace Dylan Blue but with oakmoss. Longevity, sillage, and projection are normal. Armaf has better things that are cheaper, in my opinion.
In this case, I thought it would be the most potent version of Club de Nuit Intense, but it’s nothing like that; it’s completely different. This is more like Mr. Burberry EDP with a touch of Chanel Pour Monsieur. It’s a modern classic, very pleasant, and nobody will say it’s bad, but if it’s not different, it’s just a reinterpretation of something that already works. Quality 8/10, originality 6/10, quite good fixation of 6 hours.
I thought this would be the most potent version of Club de Nuit Intense, but it’s totally different. It smells more like Mr. Burberry EDP mixed with a bit of Chanel Pour Monsieur. It’s a modern classic, very pleasant, and no one would say it’s bad, but since it doesn’t bring anything new, it’s just a reinterpretation of something that already worked and was loved by everyone. Quality 8/10, originality 6/10, decent longevity around 6 hours.
I don’t know the supposed inspiration, Mr. Burberry by Francis Kurkdjian, but here you feel the vibe of the line, just like the lovely Mr. Burberry Indigo (I’ll grab a backup before they discontinue it). This Eau de Parfum is a modern masculine with a marked opening of mint and cardamom. It’s addictive and compensates for its medium longevity of 5-6 hours (they say the original lasts less), which is forgivable for the rich aroma. Little is written about this Club de Nuit, but it’s a very attractive masculine; as it dries down, the oakmoss gives it consistency without being old. For those who appreciate scents that “say something,” Urban Man won’t leave you indifferent. I think Mr. Burberry Indigo is a must-have, but this Armaf is a good versatile option for daily wear. Good acquisition, moving away from the dominance of Creed. Great price and luxury packaging for what it costs.
What a rich fragrance. The mint does magic with the citrus. I’ve worn it for about two hours and I love it; I’m going to hunt down the Ella. The scent is super pleasant and delivers on making it seem delicious to those around you. I liked it more than the Odyssey Mega.
What a delicious fragrance. The mint is magical with the citrus. After just 2 hours, I love it; I’m going for Ella. The scent is super pleasant and delivers on making your close ones say it smells good. I liked it more than the Odyssey Mega.
It’s a pleasant, soft, and masculine mint; a clean, green aroma; perhaps one of Armaf’s best. However, it doesn’t last more than an hour on skin (almost 4 hours on clothes) and projects little, depending on the weather. It’s fine for being fresh like after a bath, but not for work or events. The CDNIM EDT is the best in terms of longevity and projection. This Club Urban doesn’t have the demand of Black Beast, not because of the smell, but because of the status of the brand’s most successful fragrance that everything is compared to.
Well… since I know the Armaf Club de Nuit family, I have to say it smells exquisite from start to finish. But the longevity and projection are disappointing: it doesn’t even reach 3 hours, it thins out after half an hour, and then drops off. I recommend it for the scent, not for how long it lasts. It’s much better to buy the Elixir Urban version.
At first, I thought it smelled like cheap aloe shampoo, but since it’s my first green and spicy fragrance, I got used to it. What I notice most is the mint, bergamot, and ginger; the woody side is more subtle. It lasts hours on skin, the projection is stable and discreet, but it lingers on clothes until the next day. Incredible performance without needing to mature: with 4 sprays at 9am, I could still smell it strong on my wrists at 9pm. I bought it for $20 and I’m very satisfied. 8.5/10. I’m sticking with the CDNIM EDT as my goal.
It’s not bad, but it’s not a masterpiece either. I get pure mint at the start (1-2 minutes), followed by lavender, vetiver, and sandalwood. It’s pleasant, clean, and herbal, nothing elegant or sexy; it just says “fresh.” Ideal for home if you don’t know what to wear and don’t want to spend. Medium trail, decent projection for 2 hours, but the fixation is impressive: I put it on at 6am, reapplied at 5pm, and by 6am the next day, it was still there. I’m not sure if I’ll buy it again; it’s going from less to more. My wife loved it. It’s sober. If you catch it on sale, it’s a good alternative. I got it for 20 euros in a 105ml bottle.
It’s not bad, nor is it a marvel. I only detect a few notes: pure mint in the opening, very brief, no more than 1-2 minutes, then immediately the same 3 notes in the heart and base: lavender, vetiver, and sandalwood. It’s wearable, not elegant, not striking or loud, nor sexy; it generates nothing more than saying “smells clean,” fresh, and herbal/woody/soapy. Something like for wearing at home when you don’t know what to put on and don’t want to spend on something you like more that’s pricier. Medium trail 50-70 cm, decent projection 120-150 min. However, I was surprised by its longevity in skin fixation up to 10-12 hours (in very hot summer weather around 34°C). (Update: I put it on at 6:00 AM, reapplied at 5:00 PM, and the next day at 6:00 AM I still felt it on my skin, I’m impressed). I don’t know if I’ll buy it again. I’ve been using it for 2 days and my consideration of it is going from less to more. At first, I considered it very flat and boring. But it has pleasantly surprised me, however, there’s something that doesn’t fully convince me. I feel it’s missing something to sell itself. My wife absolutely loved it. It’s a sober scent. Still, if you can get it cheap, it can be an alternative to consider before trying. I got mine for 20€ for 105ml, I was curious and bought it blind.
It starts super fresh with citrus (bergamot and grapefruit) that last about 5 minutes, then nutmeg, ginger, and cedar kick in. Although it says lavender, you don’t really notice it. After 25 minutes, patchouli and oakmoss dominate with a light touch of sandalwood. It smells amazing right after a shower, but the projection fades quickly. I’ll keep using it to see how it evolves. Rating: Scent 8/10, Longevity 6-7 hours, Projection 1 hour.
Presentation: I’m testing a batch from August 2023. The black box with a suede-like texture is very elegant, though it does show fingerprints. The bottle is simple, but you can tell the high quality of the thick, crystal-clear glass, the solid and heavy cap, and the generous atomizer. It doesn’t lack the typical necklace from the series; it looks good, but I’ve seen in reviews that the chain breaks over time. Scent: The opening is excellently fresh, full of energy, like taking a mojito. The bergamot adds brightness, the mint brings freshness. Then the grapefruit with a bitter touch adds sophistication, while the bergamot provides warmth and sensuality. In the heart, the ginger is strong with its heat and warmth, and the nutmeg adds a warm, comforting touch. The lavender is subtle but adds clarity and cleanliness, the cedar brings masculinity and depth. In the base, the star is vetiver, which gives an earthy and powerful sensation. The patchouli, sandalwood, and oakmoss combine to give that woody, warm, and slightly sensual feeling. Evocation: It’s a fragrance that evokes sobriety and sophistication; it gives the impression of a serious and formal man. I understand it might remind people of the fragrances of older men, those called ‘gentlemen,’ but I feel it’s a bit more relaxed and modern with the slight heat of the ginger and the exoticism of the nutmeg. In fact, if you take a good sniff and let the air pass through your throat, you can feel the tickle of these spices. I think fragrances evoke a scene… in this one, I imagine a young, neat man in a collared shirt but without a tie, going to the bar of a quiet, wood-filled place to have a mojito and let out some laughter, before getting serious again, putting on a suit, and heading back to the office. Usage: I see it for relatively formal settings, everyday office wear. I wouldn’t wear it with a t-shirt or to a club party; it’s too serious. Nor would I use it for very formal meetings, as I feel it falls short due to that relaxed warmth. Any usage between those two extremes seems fine. In that realm, I don’t see an age restriction; if there is one, it would be to use it from age 25 onward, mostly due to dressing trends. Performance: That citrusy and fresh opening lasts about 5 minutes. Then it projects the heart notes for about 2 hours, and afterwards the base notes, which are perceptible for up to 6 hours. Total around 5 or 6 hours of solid scent; afterwards, it lingers on the skin and clothes for days. The first two hours project quite well. Generally, it hovers quietly, but when the air moves or you move, the scent moves and leaves a trail. After those two hours, it becomes more intimate, staying in wisps close to the body, so people nearby can perceive it regularly. Rating: I don’t love it, but I like it enough to use it regularly. It smells rich, sober, warm, and gives you an air of sophistication. It’s for a wide audience and follows proven recipes; that’s why it feels common and a bit old school. However, it has a modern touch that makes it likable. Plus, its performance is excellent and its price is great; it’s a good option for those starting in perfumery with a tight budget who want something good, beautiful, and cheap. That’s why I think it has few reviews or hasn’t been given the importance it deserves.

I was doubtful at first, but I was wrong: it lasts 5-6 hours and is worth every penny. I picked it up for 450 pesos on Amazon Mexico, and the trail is brutal; my friend told me she could still smell me in the room when I got home. For daily wear as a signature, it’s top-notch—you can definitely detect the mint, and it smells great.
I bought it two months ago because it was on sale, and I thought, ‘wow, it must be similar to Urban Man Elixir, the one everyone talks about,’ which was silly of me not to research first. In short, it’s not a fragrance I’ve liked; it smells very powdery, and that green note doesn’t quite convince me. I even gave it to several friends trying to convince them, but out of seven people, only one liked it. That said, it has good longevity and projection for the price. I recommend saving up for another fragrance or, with this same cost, buying something better, but of course, there are tastes for everyone. My rating: 6.5/10.
10/10, I don’t get the bad reviews; it’s a perfume that delivers more than enough, perfect for everyday use even in the heat. No complaints about longevity either, it easily lasts over 6 hours. Simple but concrete, and exactly what you need for your daily routine.
10/10, I don’t understand the bad reviews. It’s a very fulfilling fragrance, suitable for daily wear even in heat. As for longevity, there’s nothing to say; it easily lasts more than 6 hours. Simple but concrete and perfect for everyday use.
Well, it’s not bad, but it’s very boring for me. I feel it would suit someone over 50 for being at home or in the office; so, it’s not bad at all, just I don’t think it’s youthful or spectacular, but if you’re going to smell good, well, you will smell good.
I bought it blind a while ago when I was still an amateur in perfumes. It’s a fulfilling fragrance, nothing too youthful, though it might appeal to those who prefer very masculine and ‘old school’ scents. It’s good for men aged 45 to 60 for daily wear; in my case, even though it’s fresh, I use it for more formal occasions. That spicy touch of cardamom and nutmeg gives it a formal vibe, along with the earthy moss and ginger that reminds me of our parents or uncles. Recommended for masculinizing any unisex floral fragrance through layering; I’ve put it over Toy Boy and Infini Rose, giving them a much more masculine, fresh, and spicy rose note—spectacular.
To be fair, I personally think I like Urban Man more than the Elixir; I see it as more versatile, while the Elixir is more elegant for special occasions. It had excellent performance on skin and clothes. I tested it two years ago and never bought it, but I was planning to for daily use and nights. Edit: I finally bought it, and I have complaints about its poor longevity, what a shame it fades so quickly. It has two stages: the opening smells phenomenal, but it quickly moves to the second phase, which also smells good, but from there the scent diminishes drastically. I don’t know what they did; when I tested it two years ago, it wasn’t like this. What a shame it turned into a Starwalker 2.0; it fades away with the gentle afternoon breeze.
Pleasantly surprised after reading so many reviews saying it didn’t last and smelled weak. It’s citrusy and fresh, designed not to draw attention, perfect for sports, the office, or everyday use. Probably some expected a ‘beast mode’ because it’s Arabic and from the Club de Nuit line. Fragrances need to be evaluated in their context.
I was floored reading all the complaints about it not lasting or smelling like anything. It’s citrusy and fresh, made to not stand out, ideal for the gym, the office, or everyday wear. I’m sure many expected a beast because it’s Arab and from the Club de Nuit family, but you have to judge it in its real context.
The opening is like blending several plants and wood in a blender; after a while, everything harmonizes into a fresh, clean, and herbal sensation. The mint adds an elegant touch, like a frozen forest. I give it 9/10; it’s ideal for daily wear.
Very, very fresh, cheerful, herbal, and woody without being heavy, with a citrus twist. Ideal for daytime; it feels light on the wearer but projects well and is noticeable to others, much like Cool Water. It’s a gem if you like that slightly mentholated effect. Older guys call it a fragrance for adult men… but that’s because they’ve gotten used to sweet, nocturnal scents. I bought it blind, and at first, it wasn’t what I expected given the image of Club de Nuit being extreme, but once you get used to it, it’s something else. The issue is perception. Highly recommended; you can get it on Amazon for under 500 Mexican pesos. Underrated fragrance.
Total game-changer. I’m scared no one will talk about this exquisite scent. It’s delicious for everyday wear—fresh, woody, and very masculine. It’s not for young guys used to sweet, nocturnal fragrances; it takes Club de Nuit to the next level and amps up Urban Man Elixir. It fulfills its mission, but I’m baffled that there aren’t more fans of this beauty.
