This Armaf option isn’t for young folks. It’s dense black chocolate, so dark it stinks, so dark it’s hungry, so dark it has Ebola, so dark it’s barefoot; with a strong scent of roasted, almost burnt coffee, and an alcoholic hazelnut note like Frangelico, plus an undeclared tobacco note that strips away any feminine air. There’s no way this fragrance stays under the table if you have the guts to pull a trigger; while the opening might scare most people, the drydown is kinder. If you imagine the Harry Potter universe, this would be Bellatrix Lestrange’s perfume: imposing, dark, sweet, dirty, and perverse. If you want to feel that way, this is your scent. Though more masculine, it could be ideal for the nearly extinct urban tribe or even as a signature scent.

It’s really very strong at first and I almost didn’t like it, but once it dries down, it’s incredible: a sensual and warm scent that lasts all day, it’s amazing.

Projection 3/10, Drydown 7/10.

If you like the smell of a Ferrero Rocher candy, you just need the gold wrapper.

I just tried it; the opening is very sharp, very alcoholic, and the first thing I smell is an overpowering pistachio note. I have the Montale Chocolate Greedy here, and they’re similar in some ways; the difference is that Montale smells like real cookies, those chocolate chip ones fresh out of the oven. You can obviously feel the quality drop with the price. Poor fixation for an EDP. Frankly, I’d use it as a bakery air freshener just to attract more customers.

It’s the worst Arabic perfume I own; it smells like nothing after half an hour. Pistachios? Chocolate? Where? They’re not there, nor expected; it has a strong opening of liquor and unsweetened black coffee, nothing else, neither gourmand nor sweet, nothing at all. As soon as you wait a few minutes hoping for the praline, the chocolate, the nuts… you’re left exactly waiting, because they never arrive. After half an hour, the coffee scent disappears and leaves a lingering aftertaste I’m not sure about (it smells so little it’s hard to distinguish) and it’s over. A true perfume scam, I regret buying it so much.

The Dubai chocolate trend has reached perfumery, and this Odyssey is a prime example. It opens with a nice blast of rich cocoa and pistachio, though it fades and settles into an intimate trail. Still, given the price, it doesn’t matter if you reapply. Perfect for gourmand lovers.

I didn’t like it because the chocolate with spices scent is very noticeable; it reminded me of Axe Chocolate. Undoubtedly it’s for open spaces, at night, and in cold weather; during the day it repels, I didn’t like it.

I bought this because I’m a gourmand fan, but it smells like plastic walnut cookies. It’s super synthetic and my close circle rejected it outright. There’s no place or reason to wear it; the only option is for a 5th birthday. The projection is terrible, lasts half an hour, and fades within 4 hours. Smelling like plastic cookies is not a good idea. Rating: 2/10, poor projection and longevity, 0/10 for overall impression.

I bought it because I’m a gourmand lover, but… this is too much. It literally smells like a nut cookie BUT OF PLASTIC. It’s a very synthetic smell. It’s the first time my 3 close friends made a face of rejection at a sweet perfume like this. It has no shape or occasion for use, none. The only very forced occasion I found is if you’re 6 years old and going to your cousin Jose’s 5th birthday party. That’s the only occasion I see for it. Now the projection is bad; it projects for half an hour and lasts about 4 hours. With this perfume, I realized that smelling something literally (a plastic nut cookie in this case) is not a good idea or what I’m looking for. Scent: 2/10 Age: 1-10 years Longevity: Bad Projection: Bad Rating: 0/10

It’s the same smell you get when you walk into a vape shop; more precisely, it’s very similar to the Lucky 13 Cafe Racer liquid.

If you’re dying for chocolate or coffee with pistachio scents, this is for you. If you wear it with your partner, they’ll eat you up 😂😂.
Juantico
It doesn’t smell like perfume; it smells like pure gourmand. It’s literally what it claims to be: pistachio and chocolate, nothing else.
Ejecutora
At first spray, it smells like chocolate and roasted nuts, with not much pistachio detected. Once it dries on the skin, everything disappears, leaving just a slightly sweetened coffee bean. It smells different in the air compared to on the skin. It’s not a classic gourmand; it’s very unisex in the dry-down and guys will probably like it. I like it, it’s distinct, and I’ll see how it evolves over time.
Nazareno Aranda
Amazing as a scent, it smells like chocolate with pistachio and bitter coffee. I emphasize, amazing as a scent, but NOT as a perfume. It’s not something I’d want to smell; it’s like having that chocolate spilled on me and coffee poured on top. I prefer more complex scents.
amsp1989
The ideal scent for a home diffuser: a warm aroma of nuts and coffee, like your grandma preparing a snack and telling stories by the fire. But as a perfume, it’s an absolute no; you can’t walk down the street smelling like a bakery. It’s not a gourmand like others with toffee or vanilla; it’s an extreme bakery diffuser. Not recommended.
Azariel_Nox
I bought a decant and after trying it, I reached two conclusions: it smells more like coffee than chocolate in the opening, leaving a peanut or pistachio scent (hard to distinguish). It’s good, but not everyone will like it, especially the overly sweet caramel base. If you don’t like gourmands or pistachios, stay far away; it’s not suitable for your nose x_x.

Hey, I can’t believe someone likes this. It’s chocolate from start to finish, very intense, and doesn’t leave room for other notes. If you want to smell like you just ate chocolate, perfect, but to me, it’s disgusting.

Literally the first 3 hours smell like a chocolate cookie. It’s a gourmand scent mixing chocolate with a light coffee touch. It smells delicious and you can tell the quality, but it smells like a cookie. My wife loved it; she went crazy. At first, she thought I’d eaten dessert, but when I told her it was perfume, her head exploded, haha. It was an aromatic rebirth. Now, don’t let the opening fool you; the perfume is more than that. What I love most is the dry down: that amberwood with caramel and tonka bean gives me a creamy, sweet, elegant, and high-quality sensation. I was surprised. The wood is so good it reminds me of perfumes that combine elegant oud with vanilla. I loved the dry down. It lasts 10 hours easily.

First things first: it smells different in the bottle than on the skin. Smelling it from the atomizer had me crazy—addictive aroma with lots of chocolate, pistachio, hazelnuts, and coffee. On skin, it becomes earthier and more chocolatey. It’s very gourmand. The longevity is excellent: 2 to 3 hours strong, then it fades but you can still smell it until 8 PM. On clothes, it lasts 4 days or until washed. I use it in autumn/winter at night. It’s unisex but leans masculine due to the strong chocolate. Point for Armaf on creativity and potency.

A gourmet coffee for connoisseurs. From the first spray, it’s a deep and enveloping experience. The opening is glorious: imagine opening a bag of roasted beans with crunchy hazelnuts, caramelized pistachio, bitter chocolate, and a dry vanilla base that softens without being cloying. Although it has tempting notes like praline and caramel, it surprises by not being excessively sweet. Here, there’s no easy dessert or trendy fragrance; it’s a spiced, dark coffee, elegant and adult. It’s not versatile for daily wear: it’s for cold climates, special nights, or moments to stand out. I wouldn’t recommend it blindly. It’s not bad or vintage; it’s just distinct. If you want more sweetness or a commercial gourmand, maybe Khamrah Qahwa is your style. But if you like characterful, deep coffee drinks, this is a hit. Rating: 9/10. An exquisite indulgence.

Many people here use the word gourmand like little girls with a new doll, haha. If the perfume deserves that label, it’s interesting and unique to me. It evokes a coffee shop: lots of coffee, chocolate, a mocha, light pistachio, hazelnuts, caramel, etc. If you’re a lover of these scents, I recommend it. If it reacts well to your skin, it’s very delicious. Dare to try it.

Arrived yesterday and I tested it on paper, skin, and clothes. At first glance, it’s a super gourmand and captivating fragrance that stands out both in the Odyssey line and the general market. The opening is dominated by coffee and hazelnuts, accompanied by a pistachio that holds its own. As it evolves, the coffee recedes and a darker chocolate (not milk chocolate) enters, along with caramel and amber wood. It will definitely turn heads and earn compliments. Worth seeing how it develops with maceration. Rating: 8/10.

When you smell it, you know influencers like Scentopia need an urgent nose wash. I’d describe it as rancid cookie ice cream with even more overripe chocolate, totally unpleasant.
Vito07
I really loved it. The opening feels like smelling a chocolate-peanut-and-coffee ice cream. As it dries down, it reminds me of Lattafa Wazeer with that caramel note. Highly recommended, perfect for cold weather and night time.

First things first: it smells different in the bottle, but on skin it’s a whole other level. I went crazy as soon as I sprayed it from the atomizer; it’s an addictive mix of chocolate, pistachio, hazelnuts, and coffee that you can’t stop smelling. On skin, it becomes earthier and more chocolatey, very gourmand. The longevity is brutal: it hits hard for the first two or three hours, then fades but you can still detect it until eight. On clothes, it would last days or even until you wash them. I only wear it in fall and winter, at night. It’s unisex but leans masculine due to that intense chocolate and coffee vibe. Points to Armaf for the creativity and power.

So many people use the word ‘gourmand’ as if they just got a new doll, haha. If this perfume deserves that label, it’s interesting and unique to me. It evokes a coffee shop filled with coffee, chocolate, a mochaccino, a light touch of pistachio, hazelnuts, and caramel. If you’re a lover of these scents, I recommend it. If it reacts well to your skin type, it’s very delicious. Go for it.
