  • A rare fragrance, neither do I like it nor dislike it, but it doesn’t live up to its name. Smells like rancid wood with leather, maybe due to the vetiver. Sometimes it’s good, then an odorless and unpleasant smell. I feel bad for Bond 9; it’s a men’s perfume that doesn’t make me feel cold or warm. Longevity is good though.

  • To be completely honest, I found this to be a disaster. It has a cheerful, tropical opening (which is why people compare it to Aventus), which is fine or at least attractive if you like those notes, as I do. But that opening lasts a tiny bit and then turns into a synthetic musk, smelling like soap, quite artificial and boring (to my nose), something very common in Bond No.9 perfumes. I didn’t detect any vetiver or wood. The longevity and sillage are laughable; very discreet. After 2-3 hours, even with 5-6 sprays (even on clothes), it barely smells like anything. I’m not an Aventus fan, but in my opinion, it far surpasses this perfume, which, on top of that, has a ridiculous price for what little it offers. The typical scam for rich kids, fanboys, or clueless spendthrifts…

  • To be clear, I thought it was very bad. Cheerful and tropical opening, quite attractive, but it doesn’t last. It transforms into a synthetic, soapy, artificial musk, typical of Bond No.9. I didn’t notice any vetiver or wood. Longevity and projection are laughable; after 2-3 hours there’s almost nothing despite 5-6 sprays. This perfume, which costs a fortune, offers way less than it should. The classic scam for clueless fanboys.

  • Disappointed, smells great at first but after no more than 15 minutes it becomes sillage-less 🙁

Far from Aventus in quality and subtlety, for me it’s closer to Mancera’s Cedrat Boise, which is my preferred scent and performance. It’s not very original, pleasant at first but soon becomes synthetic and generic. I wouldn’t pay its price. Cedrat Boise does a better job for less money.

Review of the 2014 batch #1044 post-refurb. Comparing it to Creed’s Aventus is a mistake; it goes in a completely different direction. The pineapple here is subtle, not juicy like in Aventus. It starts strong and fruity, then moves to juniper berries and dry wood with vetiver. The fruitiness is always there. Longevity is monstrous (+10h) and it projects for over 5 hours. It’s a beast; if you put it on clothes, it lasts days. Safe, gets compliments. It’s what I’d want Sauvage EDP to be. Women love it. Safe scent. ✌

My apologies, I smelled it. I already edited it. I wrote the review on my phone while on the bus; the main thing was to get the idea down. ✌✌

  • Bought another bottle on Amazon and wow, what a difference compared to my 2015 batch. This new one has insane projection and longevity, with a pure scent. The 2015 version felt very weak. The opening is simply beautiful: you get pineapple, cedar, and berries that taste so natural they make your mouth water. It stays linear for 6-8 hours, projecting wildly for the first 30 minutes, then gradually settles to about a meter but remains delicious until 12 hours. This version is a gem.

What a delight. Fresh, woody, and citrusy opening. The star is fresh, juicy pineapple with green notes. It evolves into a fresh, wet vetiver (the magic of the blackberry) with a playful sweet-fruity touch. In the final phase, there’s cedar where the vetiver and softened pineapple rest. On my skin, it leaves a rich marine note. It’s a Pandora’s box. Supposedly it projects a lot, but on me it stays skin-close and I can smell it all day; with every movement, the scent emanates. Lasts 6-8 hours.

What a delight. Its opening is fresh, woody, and slightly citrusy. For a few minutes, the protagonist is the fresh, juicy pineapple with green notes, then it evolves into a fresh, damp vetiver (the magic of the dewberry) with a very playful, sweet-fruity acidic touch. In its final phase, there’s a cedar upon which the vetiver and softened pineapple rest. I don’t know why it leaves a very rich marine note on my skin. It’s a box of Pandora. It’s supposed to have good projection, but on me it stays close to the skin and I feel it all day, with every movement my skin emanates this rich aroma. It lasts between 6 and 8 hours.

It doesn’t turn my head, a very normal scent, I think I had already perceived it in another fragrance. It doesn’t resemble Aventus, the pineapple is more piercing, not as fruity as Creed’s. Longevity and projection are very average.

Hey, I picked this up after trying a decant and it hooked me instantly. It starts super fruity with pineapple, bergamot, and juniper berries, then dries down to a soft woody base with cedar and vetiver. For me, it’s a flawless blend. You can tell it’s similar to Aventus, Cedrat Boise, and Hacivat, but it has its own style. I consider it superior to Aventus in longevity and projection. Compared to Hacivat, it’s less creamy, but both are top-tier; I lean more toward Bond SOP. As for Cedrat Boise, I feel recent batches have dropped in quality, even though they share notes. I recommend it 100%—it’s a 10/10 for any occasion. Not many people talk about it, but it’s a great alternative to avoid the Aventus hype. Cheers!

Hi friends, I got it after they gifted me a decant and from the first minute I loved it. The opening is quite fruity with pineapple, bergamot, and juniper berries, turning into a slightly woody dry-down thanks to the cedar and vetiver. For me, a perfect blend. It has something similar to Aventus, Cedrat Boise, and Hacivat, with nuances but they aren’t the same. I consider it superior to Aventus in performance and sillage. Regarding Hacivat, it’s less creamy but I love both, I lean more towards Bond SOP. As for Cedrat Boise, I feel recent batches left a lot to be desired, but they share notes. I recommend it 100% as a 10/10, for any occasion. It’s not talked about much and is a good alternative to fight the Aventus hype.

  • This perfume is very rich, citrusy and sweet from the pineapple without being cloying. It’s not very loud, has good sillage, and does its job. Good longevity, it reminds me of Bleu de Chanel perhaps because of that citrus, woody, green, and sweet touch, but less intense. It’s for daily wear, although for the price you can find better things. If you can afford it and want this type of fragrance, it’s very good. I currently have a bit of it and use it daily, whether I’m riding my motorcycle or going to work. Scent 7/10, Longevity 4-6h depending.

  • The Scent of Peace for Him reminds me a bit of Mancera’s Cedrat Boise Intense, but here the fruity pineapple note is rougher.

  • This one is pretty, the uncle of Office for Man. If it came out in 2013, it was ahead of its time, taking the Aventus DNA down a different path.

  • I feel peace with this Bond No.9. I perceive it as a pine scent, a memory of walking through the forest with my wife among tall pines, that strong and natural smell like aromatized oxygen. It’s not very strong, but it evokes the trunk and pine needles. Gradually I notice the pineapple and vetiver, all natural and alive, like a nursery. I don’t see any resemblance to Aventus. As it evolves, it incorporates the notes and improves; the dry-down is the best part. I use it at the office, school, coffee shops, meetings. Not for a romantic date, though it’s pleasant. Moderate but noticeable performance. I like it more every time I wear it. Scent: 9.0. Projection: 2h. Longevity: 6h. Given the price, try before buying.

  • The Scent of Peace for Him by Bond No. 9: I casually smell pine in it. I remember walking in the woods with my then-fiancee, strolling down a path with tall pines and huge shade, that strong, natural scent like aromatized oxygen. It’s one of the most beautiful sensations. It’s not very strong, but it gives me that trunk and leaf feeling, and gradually I notice the pineapple and vetiver. It all adds up to natural, alive, like a nursery. I don’t find any resemblance to Aventus. In its evolution, the other notes get incorporated and it improves, with the dry-down being the best part. I use it at the office, school, coffee dates, or meetings, not for romantic dates although it’s pleasant. Moderate but perceptible performance. I like it more every time I wear it. Scent: 9.0, Projection: Moderate 2 hours, Longevity: 6 hours. For the price, I suggest trying it before buying.

I have a decant and I’m going to talk about it. This fragrance needs to be viewed in two stages: the opening and the dry-down. The opening is spectacular; it’s not a clone of Aventus or Eau Sauvage just because it has lemon or pineapple, though at times it reminds me of some Perry Ellis from the 90s with that citrus and juniper berry touch. The pineapple and bergamot blend is delicious. Then it fades significantly, and in the dry-down it becomes generic, perhaps synthetic. The house has quality, but it’s not the most original. For $150, it’s not my first choice for casual wear or temperate climates. It’s unisex but leans male, active and alive, nothing about peace.

They showed it to me at the perfumerie and I was instantly hooked, but when I applied it at home, the scent sounded familiar until I realized it was Adventus. I thought it was a bad buy for those 15 minutes of familiarity, but then the pineapple faded away, leaving that mossy cedarwood vibe from Cedrat Boise that I absolutely love. It’s a blend of two fragrances I adore, so it wasn’t such a bad spend. The longevity isn’t the best and the sillage doesn’t project much for the price, but it holds up.
