  • A classy clone. It’s impossible to talk about Urban Elixir without mentioning its inspiration: Dior Sauvage. Although I’m not a fan of bitter notes, this fragrance works wonderfully with those touches. Despite its copied DNA, it has its own quality and defined character. What stands out most are the bitter citrus combined with an earthy base that makes it unmistakably masculine. It projects with class without being invasive. It projects confidence without shouting. It’s hyper-versatile: daily wear, office, or events. Although it adapts to everything, I don’t see it for teenagers; it asks for a bit more maturity and elegance. For its quality, versatility, and elegant touch, it has great value. My rating: 7.5/10.

Hi @sensei_xv. My bottle is from August 2024. At first, I felt disappointed, just as I mentioned in another review. A year ago I bought a decant (unknown batch, probably 2022) that was nuclear. When I opened the new one, I didn’t notice that power. However, I sprayed it 10 times and let it oxygenate (macerate) for a couple of months. The truth is, it worked. Now it’s much more potent. And watch out, as I use up the bottle, I notice even more power. The same happened with famous fragrances known for not lasting long, like Cool Water or Bleu Chanel EDP. Let’s hope your batch’s performance improves. Cheers!!

  • Aventus opening, Sauvage dry down. Excellent longevity and projection. Smells great; no need to explain further.

  • Antonio Tavera

Smells good. If it has a resemblance to Sauvage, I can’t deny it has excellent quality for the price; it doesn’t smell like cheap ‘Arabic’ perfume. The problem is longevity: it lasts a maximum of 1-2 hours. I’ll let it sit for a couple of months; maybe it will improve. 6/10.

  • Seems like me and many others have the same issue… it doesn’t last or project. Smells delicious, but after two hours, I can’t smell anything. They say to be careful with sprays because it’s a bomb; I need 6 or 7 to really feel it, not 4. My batch is from February 2025, relatively new. I’ve read you need to let it macerate for weeks or months to reach peak performance. Today is October 10, 2025, so I’m letting it macerate and will update you on how it turns out.

  • What a fantastic perfume. My batch is from 2024. They say it fills rooms, but mine doesn’t at least. At first, I could barely smell it, but it’s improving with the days. It also doesn’t last 12 hours; what batch do you have that lasts that long? It’s worth letting it macerate for a few days. In my opinion, it’s only noticeable on the initial spray; afterward, it’s just Sauvage all the time, releasing non-stop bursts. I think it will become my signature scent. Edit: After two months, I confirm it’s not the beast from hell they say, at least the latest batches. One hour of projection and six hours on skin. Not bad, but I expected more.

  • A delight. Incredible scent that conveys elegance and freshness at the same time, ideal for any moment. Longevity and projection are perfect, beating out many ‘beast mode’ perfumes. The first time I sprayed 10-12 times and it was intense, but dropping to fewer sprays felt exquisite. Day one: 2 compliments. First week: 6. Third week: 16 (yes, I started counting). 9.5/10.

  • I don’t get the hype for this fragrance; I just can’t find the charm. It’s pleasant, but nothing special for me; I think the original is better in several aspects. Overall, it’s a good blind buy.

  • Vicfragance

Works great on clothes and lasts for days, but on my skin it causes olfactory fatigue almost immediately—maybe a specific ingredient? I’ve read many criticize the longevity, so it could be the quality. My batch is from March 2023; it’s been macerating for a while and still performs the same.

  • carloslopezz

Breaking it down: Is it new? No. Is it worth it? Absolutely. For 25-35 euros, it’s the perfect blend of Aventus and Sauvage EDT, minus the chemical citrus that burns the nose like Cdim. It’s all-rounder for any occasion. Longevity is good, and the projection is sky-high at first. I might be biased since I’m a Sauvage fan, but it’s a safe buy, especially at this price. Crucial tip: let it macerate for at least 3 months; the notes feel weak at first.

  • valencaminos

This has been my signature for several months. It’s incredible how versatile it is; you get compliments all year round, day or night, in a cold winter or a stifling summer. Note, it’s 100% masculine, without a doubt, with a more serious focus than Intense Man. I perceive a dominant citrus opening with herbs that add freshness and balance (not as strident as Intense Man), and an amber that gives it body and density, just enough weight so it’s neither heavy nor light. On dry down, the citrus softens and lavender takes more prominence. That’s at least what I perceive; I’m not an expert but I have a trained nose. Performance is a strong point: it lasts at least 8 hours on skin and projects powerfully for 2 hours (invading a small/medium room). Maybe it’s not the most popular Armaf because it’s so masculine and serious.

  • Speaking as someone who just likes perfume and isn’t an expert: I bought this blind in 2025. I’d heard it resembled Dior Sauvage and yes, the opening is identical, maybe a bit sharper but very little. Then that bergamot disappears and it basically smells of ambroxan, lavender, and amber; here the amber or that warm touch feels more present than in Dior and I don’t dislike it. Longevity is a beast: on my skin it lasts over twelve hours and on clothes for days. Projection is very good, it’s a beast for the first 3 hours, then stays moderate for another 4 hours, right on the skin. No need to talk about its price. A few comments: it causes olfactory fatigue and for some noses the opening can smell like Raid, which people have told me. They say it resembles Aventus but it’s not a fragrance with that vibe and I haven’t smelled it either, so I can’t comment. Longevity 9/10, Projection 8.5/10, Price 10/10.

  • I wouldn’t say it’s a DS-EDT, nor even a CDN, because the little similarity it has to its cousin, Black Beast, fades away very quickly. Honestly, I was captivated at first, especially the well-executed pink pepper note for an Arabic fragrance. Then, after aging or my nose adjusting, that rich note disappeared and I don’t like it as much anymore. Longevity and projection are incredible, typical of Armaf. The aroma is captivating; I see it more for cold weather and night. But it’s much more wearable than Black Beast.

  • If you’re here looking for a buying opinion, here it is, brother, it’s the definitive one. If you’re looking for something like Sauvage but can’t afford it right now, there’s nothing else. Do yourself a favor and don’t postpone this sensory masterpiece that earns incredible compliments any longer. A confident men’s perfume that knows what it wants; before it even arrives imposing presence, the scent is already there, and not just there, it stays to make you unforgettable. I won’t ramble, just tell you to buy it, you’ll thank me later, brother.

  • Average person, personal taste leans more citrusy and amber, more sparkling than Black Beast, to my liking less smoky. It has its weight; where you go, you leave a trail. For the price, it’s excellent, especially on good pH skin; it lasts 6 to 10 hours. For me, it’s a 10/10.

  • My first Arabic perfume purchase and it didn’t disappoint me at all. Its sillage and longevity are brutal. I wear it in spring/summer, daily at the office or when going out, and it never goes unnoticed; I’ve received many compliments. Elegant and masculine aroma. Without being an expert, I find it very similar to Dior Sauvage. Highly recommended!

  • samuelnavarro1608

I tested it on a tester strip in front of me; the opening is similar to Intense Man, but this smells better. It fades quickly, about 10 minutes, then a Sauvage-like aroma emerges. On dry down, you have to be very close to tell Urban Elixir apart from Sauvage. I bought it and I’m not sure if it’s a new batch or needs more aging; the citrus/amber scent is constant, like it’s trying to reveal Sauvage but clashes with an opening that isn’t very pleasant. Has anyone else experienced this? I’d love to hear your thoughts. PSDT: Longevity and projection are flawless, very good.

  • This perfume won me over with time. When I first opened it, the opening didn’t appeal to me much because it was too strong for my nose. I wondered if it was worth it for a day, but the next day I applied it. I wrinkled my nose seeing that intensity persist, but after a while I was surprised by how fresh it is and the resinous quality of the ambroxan. I kept applying two sprays a day, and each time I liked it more. The scents settled, the perfume stabilized with air, and now I wear it every day. Its similarity to Sauvage is almost imperceptible if you don’t think about it. I put it on and feel an aromatic, warm yet fresh scent. My girlfriend loves it. It’s perfect for intense heat, temperate climates, day or night, for any occasion. It’s exquisite; after a while, I fell in love discovering its facets. On dry down it’s spectacular and the longevity is brutal. It projects for about two hours and decays slowly until six. It’s excellent for under forty dollars. I was pleasantly surprised by sticking with it. Totally recommended.

  • Samuel, same here. I loved it more in the store than when I first opened the new bottle. Maybe it’s the oxidation, but it disappointed me, so I sold it.

  • Andrés Maetxa

Smells great, suitable for any occasion. It’s a powerful fragrance that gets compliments; people ask about it a lot, it has its charisma. The downside, and this is something that really bugs me about this perfume… it feels synthetic in the opening. In the dry down, I smell exactly the same scent as the ‘Cabbage’ brand ‘pimpollos’ dolls that were popular in the 90s; look, it’s certainly a pleasant smell because it’s creamy, but at a certain point it becomes annoying and artificial. When I bought it, I pulled the trigger hard, applied a lot, and abused its potency. I still use it, but that detail holds back my impulses. Scent: 6.6, Projection/Sillage: 8.2, Longevity: 7.8. Final Rating: 7/10 ***75.3% perfection***

  • To start, as usually happens to me, the first time I tried it, it didn’t really click with me; I guess because I was expecting something more like Sauvage. And yes, Sauvage is more refined and darkens more as it dries (thanks to that semi-vintage fougere base that’s very masculine)… Urban Man Elixir, also a men’s fragrance, is more of a constant, potent aromatic amber. This perfume lacks little; it’s versatile, modern, eye-catching, powerful, stylish, clean, etc. This could easily be a designer perfume costing double or triple the price, especially if they improved the quality of the ingredients a bit. It’s a great fragrance; you just need to watch the number of sprays and where you wear it because the projection and longevity are insane.

  • Davidhuztla

A must-have in any collection, it’s awesome!! It’s like the Intense, but instead of citrus, it’s sweeter.

  • I hate people who give an opinion on everything. First and foremost, this is a totally masculine fragrance; imagining a woman wearing this feels like a disrespect. Second: it’s a blend of Sauvage EDT with a touch of Creed Aventus, spices, florals, and pineapple. The opening is a bit chaotic but lasts about 30 seconds; that’s when the evolution begins. First, the spicy notes with pineapple stand out, and over time it shifts toward the Sauvage side. It’s a perfect hybrid; the creator is a genius. Now that the combination is outside the quality of the originals, this could clearly be a world-class gem at a much higher price point. Based on price/performance ratio: Scent: 10, Longevity: 10 (on my skin it lasts up to 12 hours), Projection: 9, Sillage: 9 (heavy for 2 hours, decaying slowly).

  • Loved by some, hated by others, Dior’s Sauvage has been (and is) a major reference in perfumery since its launch. Here we have a sweeter version, with more nuances and performance stats that are terrifying (in the best sense). When I first tried it after reading so many positive reviews, I was a bit scared it wouldn’t meet expectations… Well, not only did it meet them, it surpassed them by a mile: incredible longevity, extreme projection, and a scent very similar to the aforementioned Sauvage, but with its own touch, sweeter and fruitier. It’s not a clone of Ambre comme les Ambassadeurs as they say, not even close. Nor do I think it’s a mix of Sauvage and Aventus; simply, it has something in the opening that, if you let your imagination run wild, might remind you of a tiny part of the Aventus opening, but nothing more. I’d say fragrances like this are for any occasion and don’t offend anyone, but be careful with the number of sprays because it’s a real beast. For those who say it doesn’t last or project, I have one of the latest batches and had to let it macerate for two or three weeks until it turned into the monster it is today (and it wasn’t that it lasted and projected little at the beginning precisely). As of today, it’s one of the few perfumes, if not the only one, that with a hand on my heart I can say offers WAY more than I expected after so much hype on the internet.

  • Coni Macarena Miel

Too sweet for my taste, but it’s not a bad perfume; in fact, I see a unisex vibe in it, which doesn’t work for me… I think there are better options… Was the hype too much? They said it was much better than the hated and loved Club de Nuit Intense, but I think they go in totally different directions. This is a more youthful fragrance, while the other is more masculine. It’s true the opening is too strong, but it settles beautifully (Club de Nuit Intense does), whereas this Urban Elixir falls short in the dry down. As for how much it resembles Sauvage, not really, lol (even though I don’t like Sauvage). It would be a sweeter version, hmm… tastes are not written in stone…

  • Very good fragrance. I’ve had it for a few months and it truly delivers. Citrus opening with pepper that stands out equally, followed by lavender and some spice (I think it’s saffron). Good longevity of 6 to 7 hours on skin and lasts even longer on clothes. Similar DNA to Dior’s Sauvage.

  • This is a real beast with great projection and that powerful olfactory effect. It smells clean but also chemical, not in a bad way, more like detergent or fabric softener; splendid, ideal for putting on right after a shower. It projects a lot and it’s good because, why buy something you can’t smell? It’s not elegant, it’s for daily wear and all seasons. I’d define it as a freshly laundered shirt, but better.

  • Diego Bronson

It’s a literal mix between Dior Sauvage EDT and Creed Aventus. Everything you perceive is those two scents, one after the other. It lasts a long time and projects very well. It’s versatile but confusing.

  • tomcastrooo

I’ve had it for a month and only now have I managed to smell the Sauvage EDT to compare them; I can say it’s almost identical. I don’t know if it’s my batch or if it needs to macerate, because I don’t find it as the beast reviewers talk about. I consider it projects well for about 1.5 hours, give or take, and then stays close to the skin. It lasts quite a bit, sure, but not the trail they promised. Still, I find it better than the traditional CDN and smells much less burnt. I’ll review it again after a few months to see if the performance improves.

  • Honestly, when it arrived I atomized it and it smelled old, super strong and chemical; I thought I’d messed up the purchase. I left it forgotten for two weeks and then took it on a trip where I smelled Intense Man; that’s when I realized it’s more ‘sweet’ and I liked it. Now I’ve finished a bottle and bought another because people always ask me which one it is. 3-4 sprays are more than enough; sometimes I put on 7 or 8 and I get dizzy, or once I almost vomited (from the strength, not the smell, which is delicious).

  • I hate when people say a perfume is ‘too synthetic’, but this time they got me: I didn’t like it. The issue is that artificial smell, especially right after spraying. It’s not bad, just fatigues me quickly, which is typical for beasts. If you like it and want to buy it, test it on your skin for a day or grab a decant to see if you can handle that intensity.

  • SrEpectacular

To me, it smells like too much pineapple, with a sour, spicy lemon that stings the nose. The amber shows up at the end. On skin, it lasts a short time, about 4-6 hours (I expected more), but on clothes it lingers another day, between 9 and 12 hours. After an hour and a half, that acidity fades and you get hints of amber.

  • It really hits the spot. It has that typical late-night club opening vibe that can sometimes be a bit much, but after a while it transforms into Dior Sauvage. For the price, it’s a steal, and it doesn’t smell chemical or artificial like the people below claim.

  • People who say it’s unisex are the same ones who call a gray garment ‘black’; something weird in their heads. It’s a brutal fragrance, sweet but without taking anything away from the man. Olfactory fatigue? Sure, and maybe that’s why it feels like it doesn’t last long, but it projects like crazy. You don’t need to spray much; the scent is gorgeous. It reminds me of Dior Sauvage but with its own nuances. If you don’t like it, it’s either not your type or you have bad memories, not because it’s a bad fragrance; that’s a fallacy.

  • diegomtz2003

I love it, especially for its versatility: from casual outings to important events. I never get tired of it, it lasts a long time, and projects well. Many compare it to Creed Aventus, but for me, it vibes more with Prada Luna Rossa Carbon; they’re very similar, and I still prefer this Club de Nuit. It’s masculine, clean, fresher than warm, but with a sweet and sexy touch ideal for cold weather or night without being cloying. It’s not for purists, but it’s an excellent option if you want something rich, long-lasting, and suitable for anything at a great price.

  • ikerperseo

Absolute beast in projection and longevity, smells wild. The scent isn’t top-tier but it’s rich, clean, and a bit sweet. The opening is sharp and slightly synthetic. For the price, it’s worth it; it’s versatile and people will definitely notice you. It projects for 2-3 hours and on my skin it lasted over 9 hours without issues (in enclosed spaces). If you’ve tried Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum, it’ll sound familiar, but with its own nuances.
