A citrus perfume that offers nothing new. It borrows here and there from grapefruit notes, but more than grapefruit, they remind me of bitter orange: strong and sharp at first, yet they fade quickly to make way for a refreshing, slightly creamy scent. The best parts are the exotic spices like Sichuan pepper and the earthy vetiver notes, but unfortunately, they don’t last at all. After two hours, it’s barely skin-scent. It’s a very rich fragrance, but weak. This doesn’t justify the purchase because there are very similar scents with better longevity, projection, and trail (personally, it reminded me a lot of D&G The One Gold). If you buy it, I recommend it for everyday wear, warm weather, and mornings.
The bottle and the rich aroma surprised me (not super delicious, but nothing bad, very pleasant); but it’s the same old thing. The $2 fixative ruins everything. CH sells things at luxury prices but it’s not actually luxury. One more time: CH re-bottles its men’s fragrances in bottles with different decorations.
I bought the bottle and the aroma is nice, but not super delicious. Nothing bad, very pleasant, but it’s the same old story: the cheap fixative ruins everything. CH sells things at luxury prices but it’s not luxury. One more time, CH re-bottles their men’s fragrances in bottles with new decorations.
It’s identical to the regular one, just a bit more bitter.
I tested this fragrance on the fly and immediately it reminded me of the original CH Leather, which is spiced amber (very sweet with a very pronounced leather note and various spices). Hot Hot Hot takes a different path: it slowly turns citrusy, floral, and spiced, playing with violet, citrus, and sandalwood alongside the bittersweet fleshiness of rhubarb. It has a certain milky creaminess that blends with the smokiness of sandalwood and the fresh woody vetiver, plus a non-aged suede leather. I see it as more versatile and mutant than its mother, and why not, a bit more sensual. I don’t know its nighttime performance; it might be moderate, but for daytime in semi-formal settings, it can be striking and generate an aura of attraction.
Everything okay at home? Or did they fire everyone who makes perfumes for men in this CH line? It smells identical to Under the Sea, with a bit of Beast and some King; nothing original, zero innovation. If you liked the three I mentioned before, you’ll probably like this one, but if you already own those three and have more than half a bottle left, don’t try it: it’s the same thing. Plus, the previous ones are more original and this one is pricey; I’d prefer any of the three earlier ones. I have Under the Sea and it’s practically the same. I had the pleasure of being with my wife when I tried it; the women’s version, Hot Hot Hot, is incredible—if anyone wants their wife to smell spectacular, go buy it blind. Hot Hot Hot Men, however, is nothing like it. 6/10.
Floral and citrus opening lasting 1-2 hours, followed by a subtle creamy and vanilla note. Not very potent, with an almost imperceptible leather touch. On my skin, it lasts 5-7 hours; I see it as ideal for daytime and afternoon. The bottle looks nice and opaque, but it’s not a bad perfume.
Good scent, moderate trail, and lasts a maximum of 6 hours.
Blind buy fail. The perfume is of very good quality, and longevity and projection are moderate to lasting. The problem is that the rhubarb note is very present and, in my case, I absolutely dislike it. 3/10.
Delicious perfume, cheerful in the opening and supported in the base by leather and sandalwood that give it warmth and creaminess. Longevity isn’t its strong suit: trail lasts 2 hours, and after a meter, it fades drastically. I don’t have the other flankers, but I think it still gets compliments.
Let’s talk about CH HOT HOT HOT. Its scent is like the other flankers but remains good; longevity is disappointing because after 5 hours it’s skin scent and loses the brightness that hooked me at the opening. My girlfriend has teased me a lot about it, so you’ll receive compliments; however, I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for longevity and projection.
CH Men Hot! Hot! Hot! (what a name) is a citrus, aromatic, and slightly leathery fragrance. Its opening is citrusy and spicy, which also adds a creamy, velvety sensation like suede; this phase is very pleasant and immediately brought me memories of the original CH Men and one of its fresh flankers called Central Park. As minutes pass, the citrus sensation remains, but it adds green elements like violet leaves and rhubarb, until it dries down to a light woody base. It’s an easy-to-please fragrance, suitable for informal settings, outings with friends, or daily use in any season. Regarding longevity, it’s a bit short, reaching six hours with difficulty, and looking at previous reviews, I realize it’s not just me. The projection is also low: only the first half-hour is noticeable, and afterwards, it’s barely skin-scent. The fragrance’s aroma pleasantly surprised me because I didn’t expect much from it; in fact, just seeing the ugly bottle design (at least for me) made me not even want to try it, but in the end, I’m left with a bittersweet feeling: I liked the scent, but the performance wasn’t up to par.
CH Men Hot! Hot! Hot! (what a name) is a citrus, aromatic, and slightly leather fragrance. Citrus and spicy opening, which also adds a creamy and velvety sensation like suede, a very pleasant phase that brought me back memories of the original CH Men and its fresh flanker, Central Park. As minutes pass, the citrus remains, but it adds green elements like violet leaves and rhubarb, drying down to a light wood base. It’s an easy-to-please fragrance for informal settings, outings with friends, or daily use, any season. Longevity was short, barely reaching 6 hours, and seeing previous reviews, I realize it wasn’t just me. Projection also drops, only the first half-hour is noticeable, and afterwards, it’s skin scent. The scent pleasantly surprised me because I didn’t expect much; in fact, seeing the ugly bottle design, I wasn’t in the mood to try it, but in the end, it leaves me with a bittersweet feeling: the scent I liked, but the performance didn’t.
Carolina Herrera Men Hot Hot Hot: THE GREEN FLANKER IN AN ORANGE BOTTLE. I can’t find any congruence with the name or design: two intertwined snakes on an orange background and the name HOT HOT HOT. In the perfume, it’s rich, reminiscent of CH MEN, but here it leans more towards green suede, herbal, not fresh. They aren’t the same, but they share that leather note. Hot Hot Hot leans more towards a herbaceous, sweet, and very pleasant experience. If you have CH Men, this is a good flanker, perhaps redundant, but the scent isn’t that similar and shares that lucid, striking appeal. Performance isn’t bad or poor, but don’t expect a scandalous scent. At 28 degrees, it worked well, with noticeable projection for two hours and lasting six. Cost-to-benefit ratio isn’t the best: it’s expensive and offers less for what you pay. Versatile use for dates, afternoons, or nights at a café or restaurant. I liked it and since I got it through an exchange, I have no regrets, though I admit I wouldn’t buy it at the price. Scent: 9.0, Projection: Moderate 2 hours, Longevity: 6 hours. I recommend it for the scent, not for the price.
Carolina Herrera Men Hot Hot Hot: THE GREEN FLANKER IN AN ORANGE BOTTLE. I can’t find any consistency between the name, the design, and the product: two intertwined snakes on an orange background with the name HOT HOT HOT. As for the perfume, it’s rich; if it reminds you of CH Men, here it leans more towards green suede, herbal, but not fresh. They are not at all the same, but they share that leather note where you recognize it, although Hot Hot Hot goes more towards an herbal experience, something sweet and very pleasant. If you already have CH Men, this is a good flanker, which might seem redundant, but the scent isn’t quite the same and shares that savory, lucid, and striking character. Its performance hasn’t seemed bad or poor to me, but don’t expect a scandalous perfume because it isn’t one. In my case, at temperatures around 28 degrees, it worked very well: I got noticeable projection for two hours and it lasted six hours. Its cost-performance ratio isn’t the best since it’s an expensive perfume that offers less for what you pay. I see its use as versatile for dates, preferably in the afternoon or evening at a café or restaurant. I liked it and since I got it through an exchange, I don’t regret it, but I admit I wouldn’t buy it at the price they ask. Scent: 9.0. Projection: Moderate 2 hours. Longevity: 6 hours. I recommend it for its aroma, not for its price.
Mmm, they’ll tell me I’m crazy, but this is a clone of the classic CH MEN from 2009, just with different ingredients, and the scent is identical.

Unforgettable aroma. This summer beauty was a surprise in the men’s fragrance category: no light citrus or aquatic notes. What strikes most is its unique character. Upon application, I notice a juicy tamarind accord, with a whisper of vanilla behind it adding warmth and creaminess. It combines sparkling energy with charming sweetness without being cloying. Although it would be categorized as a summer scent, I’ve worn it on sunny mornings, mild afternoons, and cool evenings. I never felt out of place: it works just as well with a white shirt and jeans as with a formal suit. The trail is light but present, and the longevity surprised me: it lasts over eight hours. Beyond the scent, I was fascinated by its unexpected personality. Carolina Herrera gave us something different for men, an originality that I miss today. The day I rediscovered it, I felt that spark of novelty, and now that it’s discontinued, I’m searching for a replacement that does it justice. Final score: 9.5/10, one of my great finds and an example of how much perfumery contributes by breaking molds. Hopefully, it returns!
An unforgettable aroma. This summer beauty was a true surprise in the world of men’s perfumery: nothing like the light citrus or refreshing aquatic scents that flood the shelves. What most impacts me about this limited edition is its singular character. Upon applying it, I notice a juicy accord that reminds me of tamarind at the perfect point of ripeness, followed by a whisper of vanilla that adds warmth and creaminess. That mix combines sparkling energy with a charming sweetness, but without becoming cloying. Although many would categorize it as a ‘summer fragrance,’ I used it on sunny mornings, mild afternoons, and even cool nights. I never felt out of place: it works just as well with a white shirt and jeans as with a more formal outfit. Its trail is light but present, and the longevity surprised me: it easily surpasses eight hours. Beyond its fragrance, I was fascinated by its unexpected personality. The day I rediscovered it, I felt that spark of novelty, and now that it’s discontinued, I’ve set out to find a replacement that does it justice. Final score: I give it 9.5/10; it’s one of my great finds and a clear example of how much perfumery can contribute when it dares to break molds. Hopefully, it returns someday!
A distinct summer fragrance—electric, green, and modern. The opening is rhubarb with a wet sensation and a sharp acidic green note. The violet leaf adds an aquatic touch, almost like cucumber or rain, while the grapefruit provides a bitter citrus that heightens the acidity. Result: an explosive, fresh, wet, and sharp green burst. Then comes Sichuan pepper, the best part: it’s not hot like black pepper, but vibrant, tingling, and numbing, keeping the grapefruit’s brightness alive. Angelica adds an herbal touch that bridges the green and spicy elements. That mix creates a ‘warm, humid, and vibrant’ feeling, like static in the tropical air before a storm. The base turns sensual, reminiscent of CH Men DNA. The leather isn’t rough; it’s soft suede and velvety, a luxurious and masculine texture. Sandalwood adds creaminess, making it addictive and soothing the spice. It’s versatile (maybe not in winter) and gets compliments. For me, it’s a 9/10. I bought it blind and have no regrets; it’s hard to find. P.S.: I love the velvet-lined bottle with gold accents, embroidered snakes, and a matching cap.
True at first with that citrus touch, but the violet, pepper, and leather take over quickly. In the dry down, it smells like tamarind, reminiscent of Le Male Aviator or On Board, but with more talcum powder. I wouldn’t recommend it for the $100 price tag; it’s neither that good nor that exclusive. The projection and longevity took a vacation: it projects at first, but after 30 minutes, it’s just skin scent. Longevity is disappointing.
