Various shades of lemon in an orchestra. One part rough, another sparkling, some acidic, but rich and refreshing in the end. I’d love to mix it with other perfumes to give them a citrus twist. I miss a more spectacular trail, knowing that’s the weakness of citrus. Within the range, it’s a very elaborate and high-end interpretation. Sometimes it smells like lemon and Coca-Cola mixed together.
Simple and linear, but incredibly rich, vibrant, fresh, clean, summery, and spring-like, achieved. It wants to be a lemon but no, you can tell the cider note with slight green hints. For citrus lovers, totally unisex. The pity is its weak trail and price, because it’s a refined and outstanding citrus combination.
Top citrus scent, yes, but the longevity is a disgrace, Montecarlo. Out of my entire collection, it’s the worst performer. A sad hour. Is one hour worth 140 euros? Álvarez Gómez, not a chance.
Magnificent scent, yes, one of the best almonded citruses, yes, but pathetic longevity, Montecarlo. Out of my entire collection, it has the worst performance. A sad hour. Is one hour worth 140 euros? Álvarez Gómez style, no.
Smells like… oh wait! It’s gone while I was trying to write this review. Scent: I remember it being something citrusy… Ingredient quality: They were good. Longevity: What is that? Projection and sillage: Non-existent.
As others have noted, it’s a fragrance with a very pleasant and quality scent, but unfortunately, its performance is very poor. It projects almost nothing and fades to skin level immediately, so it’s only recommended for personal enjoyment and in enclosed spaces. It’s purely for daytime, but I can’t recommend it based on price/durability since there are better options on the market. The excuse that it’s citrus and therefore doesn’t last doesn’t work for me, because there are other citrus fragrances with much better performance.
Smells like… oh wait! It’s gone while I was writing. Scent: I think it was something citrusy… Quality: good. Longevity: what is that? Projection and trail: nonexistent.
LONGEVITY 0, wasted money.

Blind buy. The scent is delicious, very natural, refreshing, and pleasant. I didn’t believe the comments saying the longevity was bad. And the longevity isn’t just bad, it’s terrible; sadly, it might be the perfume with the worst longevity in my collection. 4/10.
One of the best citrus scents on the market. Natural aroma, with lemon and cider as the stars. Very refreshing, only for heat or daytime. Longevity 3/4 hours, soft trail, and low projection after the 2nd hour. It needs heat to perform. I read complaints about longevity, but with such marked citrus, we can’t ask for more. Recommend trying it.
One of the best citrus scents on the market. Natural aroma where lemon and citron are the stars. Very refreshing, best used for heat/days. Longevity around 3-4 hours, soft sillage, and low projection after the 2-hour mark. It needs heat to perform acceptably. I read many complaints about performance, but when talking about such sharp citrus notes, we can’t expect miracles. Recommend trying it at least.
First impression: High-quality citrus at the start that, as it dries down, starts to remind me of Arancia Di Sicilia; maybe they use a similar musk or something… I tried it indoors with 4 sprays and well… it lasted a few hours, but I think outdoors it would go unnoticed unless you sprayed 25 times… which isn’t recommended given the price. It doesn’t seem to offer anything excessively different from competitors, but it is one of the most expensive. Maybe I’ll update this after future uses.
Terrible, poor scent, worse longevity, and nonexistent projection. Glad it was just a sample. 2/10.
Bad, poor smell, worse longevity, nonexistent projection. Lucky it was a sample. 2/10
I thought Dior cologne was basically bottled lemonade until I found Cedro di Diamante. The scent quality and zesty citrus opening compensate for its lackluster longevity (2-3 hours).
Doesn’t Moschott have a sense of smell? Bad smell and poor… I think they are far from this perfume. Easy, pleasant, luminous, a sweet lemonade with a very natural scent, just like everything from Perris Montecarlo. Simple enough to take anywhere.
mboscht, where do you even get your sense of smell? Bad smell and poor quality… I think you’re way off from what this perfume actually is. Easy, pleasant, bright, like a sweet lemonade with a very natural scent, just like everything from Perris Monte Carlo. Simple enough to wear anywhere.
First letdown with Perris Monte Carlo. I’ve loved everything else from this house; they seem simple but are high quality. Unfortunately, Diamante di Cedro didn’t meet expectations. As others have noted, it’s a nice citrus with almost no longevity. With Álvarez Gómez being so cheap and a staple in my collection for years, this fragrance feels like a rip-off.
