  • I love it; I bought it blind for the price and the notes, and it was a total hit. I’m hooked. I’m a fan of the brand, and this is my favorite by far (with all due respect to the nineties classic, Cabotine, which is too strong for me). It’s sensual, feminine, sweet without being cloying, just the right amount. Good sillage, noticeable but not annoying… I can’t stop smelling my wrist and feel like biting it. Maybe it’s because it reminds me so much of Dalimania by Salvador Dalí, which was my favorite perfume for a long time; its scent brings back millions of memories of an era and a love that never fades.

  • I bought it blind because it said it smelled like Dalimania. To me, this one smells more fruity and wearable, whereas Fleur Splendide is more intense and sweet, very Rush-style. Despite that extreme sweetness, it has a bitter touch, like the burnt sugar coating on crème catalana. It has great projection and longevity, so better not to overdo it.

  • Smells super sweet with an incredible trail and lasts forever. It immediately reminded me of the most famous gourmand, La Vie Est Belle, which strangely came out a year before this one. This is for strong people… sensitive noses will get overwhelmed and might even get a headache.

  • I love this Cabotine; I’d say for my taste it’s the best of all, even surpassing the original. Anyone I’ve recommended it to for its quality-to-price ratio has been delighted. No doubt I’ll repeat and repeat. I hope they don’t erase it from the map like they did with others; it would be a shame. Of course, it’s for people who like a perfume that lasts hours and isn’t discreet at all, but it’s not heavy for my taste. It has a good sillage for several hours and you notice where you go. For all ages but for cold seasons.

  • I love this Cabotine; I’d say it’s the best, even surpassing the original. I’ve recommended it to others for its quality-to-price ratio, and everyone was delighted. Definitely repeating. I hope they don’t delist it. It’s for anyone wanting a perfume that lasts hours—noticeable but not heavy. Good sillage, you can tell where you’ve been. Suitable for all ages and cold seasons.

  • It’s curious because I love it even though I barely distinguish a single note. At first, it reminds me of those chocolate-covered black candies or orange; sweet yes, but thick and unsweetened. A sweet that a child surely wouldn’t enjoy. As hours pass, I start noticing the patchouli and amber, very nice and not overdone. Generally, I’m not a big fan of gourmand fragrances, but this one seems very appetizing for autumn/winter. It has very good longevity (I can still smell it after almost 8 hours) and its sillage is moderate. Bravo again, Grès.

  • Serenitatis

The sillage of this perfume is crazy. You get in a car and everyone asks about it. You’re in a living room and everyone who arrives asks about it; it permeates the whole room. Watch out with that, if you’re in an office or small space, you’ll overwhelm everyone. On the other hand, I liked the scent a lot but I think it’s getting tiring to wear it in enclosed spaces; you have it right in your nose all the time. I think it’s better to use it outdoors.

  • Serenitatis

The sillage is insane. Everyone in the car asks about it, and it permeates the living room at home. Be careful: if you’re in an office, you’ll overwhelm everyone. I liked it a lot, but it gets tiring in enclosed spaces; better for outdoors.

  • Curious that I love it despite not distinguishing many notes. At first, it smells like boozy dark chocolate candy or orange: sweet, thick, and sugar-free. As hours pass, I notice the patchouli and amber, lovely and not overbearing. I’m not a big gourmand fan, but this seems appetizing for autumn/winter. It lasts almost 8 hours with moderate sillage. Bravo, Grès.

  • It resembles La Vie Est Belle but is softer and cuter. I agree that its sillage is quite good and its price is even better.

  • I don’t recall smelling anything so disgustingly sweet since Fantasy by Britney Spears, although at least the latter has more nuances, more ‘soul,’ and I can even enjoy it on someone else. Here, I can’t distinguish anything other than sugar, an oppressive sugar, slightly candied and burnt, nothing more. It’s not that it smells bad; if I smell it for three seconds, it even seems pleasant, a very sweet, fine-scented sweet, but prolonging the exposure results in nausea and exhaustion. I detect no evolution whatsoever; that burnt, cloying sweetness lasts hours from start to finish with the slightest variation. Nuclear sillage and desperate longevity.

  • I can’t recall anything so disgustingly sweet since Britney Spears’ Fantasy, though this one has more soul. Here, I only smell overwhelming sugar, slightly boozy and burnt. It doesn’t smell bad, but prolonged exposure makes me nauseous. I don’t detect any evolution; that burnt sweetness lasts hours without changing. Nuclear trail and exhausting longevity.

  • My first Cabotine and I absolutely love it. I bought it for the notes; I’m a cypress lover, but on my skin it smells more like amber. At first, it felt familiar; now I know it reminds me of a discontinued Yves Rocher scent: Nature Millénaire. They share the musk and give me the same vibe.

  • I got it through an exchange and I’m happy to have it. Yes, it’s very sweet, but I find it delicious. I also don’t overdo the sprays: just two or three. I admit I only wear it every now and then when I crave something sweet; but then I enjoy it and find some charming nuances. It’s a very blended fragrance. Rose, patchouli, and sandalwood swirl in a spiral of melon-cotton sweetness. The bergamot barely escapes as the curtain opens. There’s caramel and burnt sugar. Sweet, soft musk gives a powdery touch to the dry down. The sillage is quite good and accompanies me for hours. Longevity is about 4 hours, I warn you that I don’t count the scent right against the skin. I ask for at least to feel some puffs here and there when I move, particularly on my hands. I find it wearable for informal situations or even at home; though not in summer, not for sports, and not in small spaces. Not suitable for those who don’t like fruity gourmands and sweet perfumes. For me, it’s a great fragrance at a very good price, this Cabotine.

  • I got this through an exchange and I love it. It’s sweet but delicious. Just two or three sprays. I wear it occasionally when I crave something sweet, and then I enjoy its nuances. It’s a spiral of sweetness blending rose, patchouli, and sandalwood with an apricot-caramel twist. Bergamot pops out upon opening. There’s caramel, burnt sugar, sweet powdery musk. The trail is good, lasting about 4 hours. It’s suitable for informal situations or at home, but not for summer or sports. For me, it’s a great fragrance at a good price.

  • Sweet but not overly sugary. Just sweet and clean. It doesn’t bother or stand out; it’s pleasant but not delicious. Not as deep as FB or LVEB, but it doesn’t bother me for work.

  • If you’re looking for medicinal syrup, here it is. Sweet, striking with patchouli, and warm with amber. Very sexy and feminine. Ideal if you want to turn heads and enjoy strong, sweet scents. It’s fruitier, younger, and more fun than La Vie Est Belle. It has its own personality; it’s not a clone.

  • A pearl for the price: smells like realistic caramel with sweet jasmine. The only downside is it fades after 2 hours, but for €10, I’m happy.
