  • This version smells amazing, and my partner uses it. It’s much softer and less sweet than the original. The star anise and rose notes really stand out, but the blend of all four declared ingredients makes it a delight for everyday wear and very feminine.

  • This version is very pleasant; my wife wears it. It’s softer and less sweet than the original. Notes of star anise and rose, but the blend of the four notes makes it a delight for daily wear, very feminine.

  • I get sweet roses with a mentholated touch. It feels sexy, fun, fresh, clean, and quite feminine. It has good longevity and enough projection to be noticed, so just two sprays are enough. When would I wear it? Out with friends, parties, or gatherings, day or night, in spring, fall, or winter. Would I buy it again? Yes, it’s worth it. Great job, Givenchy!

  • I smell sweet roses with a minty touch. It’s sexy, fun, fresh, clean, and feminine. Lasts well and projects a lot; just two sprays are enough. Ideal for outings, parties, or afternoon/evening gatherings any time of year. Yes, I’d buy it again, it’s worth it. Great Givenchy!

  • I adore Givenchy but this disappointed me; I was looking for the Eau Parfum or Collector version and they weren’t available. I liked it at the counter, but at home it doesn’t last or project. You let me down, dear Givenchy.

  • Weak longevity: starts with strong anise, then rose, but the patchouli never arrives. If I rub my nose, I might catch it hours later. Fresh floral for spring days, not my favorite due to the unpleasant anise; I prefer sweet and fruity scents.

  • I’m not a rose fan, but I didn’t dislike the note here; star anise softens it. Fresh, delicious floral scent with good sillage.

  • La plus belle

One of the best Givenchy classics to feel like a movie star—bold, sparkling floral, ideal for spring-summer.

It has an anise scent that is overwhelming. It’s nice at first, but then I find it very annoying.

  • I liked it. Very similar to the EdP Sensual. It does last on my skin; I wore it last night and it still smelled of vanilla and/or anise by noon. I definitely prefer its aroma during the first 6 hours. I’m not sure if the longevity is due to the tropical heat or my pH. It has the essence of Very Irresistible.

  • A very delicate perfume. It’s a pity that its longevity is very short. The standout notes are the roses and anise. I love Givenchy perfumes, but this one doesn’t last long.

  • It pleasantly surprised me. It has a strange opening, a bitter rose and mentholated floral. I’m not a rose fan, but over time it becomes sweet, almost vanilla, and I find it exquisite. It has good projection, lasting more than 6 hours on skin, and it has the DNA of Hot Couture that I love so much. I like it for this heat and for everyday wear. 7/10.

  • I was pleasantly surprised; it has a weird opening, bitter rose and mentholated floral. I’m not a rose fan, but over time it turns sweet, like vanilla, even though I don’t wear vanilla, and it smells exquisite. It has good projection, lasting more than six hours on the skin. It carries the DNA of Hot Couture, which I love so much, which is why I was surprised. I like it for this heat and for everyday wear. 7/10.

I love it; I like it more than the EdP. It’s more sparkling and versatile. Basically, it’s a very sensual rose accompanied by anise and patchouli. Few notes create a perfume this delicious, sexy, youthful, and suitable for any occasion.

I love this fragrance; I prefer it over the EDP. It’s spicier and more versatile. Basically, it’s a very sensual rose accompanied by anise and patchouli. Few notes manage to create such a delicious, sexy, youthful scent suitable for any occasion.

The most versatile of the Very Irresistibles. When I smell it on a woman, I’m immersed in a rose garden and it puts me in a good mood. Unlike the EdP, it’s not as sensual; it simply pleases me and gives joy. That rose with anise is very long-lasting, though its projection is moderate, which gives it distinction. It works well in any climate except extreme heat and anywhere except a nightclub. It makes a woman of any age look more interesting. A coworker uses it at least twice a week and it looks great on her. I gave it to my wife, and she doesn’t like it as much; she prefers gourmands, so I think she applies it just to please me. I’m surprised LVMH hasn’t reformulated it much, even though they say the longevity has dropped—I don’t notice that change in my circle.

  • Manu_speranza

It was my first love and my first imported perfume. It’s beautiful, feminine, and sensual, with delicious roses. The reality is that it doesn’t last long, and here in Argentina, the price is very high for an EDT. Maybe I’ll return to it someday; for now, I remember it with affection.

  • Rosario.90

At first, it smells strong, almost foul, but then it transforms into a very pleasant and balanced sweet citrus floral. It lasts about 6 or 7 hours on me. I recommend it for autumn and winter; in summer, it can feel heavy.

I don’t understand why people talk about differences between versions; it’s exactly the same, folks. The bottle no longer has the gradient, and the box isn’t metallicized—that’s all. It’s one of my favorites; I’ve had both and can assure you they are identical. I choose it for special occasions; it always puts a smile on my face. I feel beautiful and grown-up, maybe because it’s the style of a professional in a suit: formal yet distinguished, elegant and sensual but not sexy, with a youthful touch, nothing grandma-like. Yes, it needs to be used moderately; if you overdo it, it smells bad and suffocates, becoming cloying. To enjoy it to the fullest, apply a little and reapply; it lasts forever and has great sillage. It does smell like rose, but it’s not the typical supermarket cologne rose; you have to try it. There are many detractors who call it ‘ordinary,’ ‘synthetic,’ or ‘suffocating’—I don’t know what perfume that crowd likes—but it’s been on the market for almost two decades.

It’s one of my favorites; it puts a smile on my face and makes me feel adult and professional, distinguished but with a youthful touch. You have to use it moderately because if you overdo it, it becomes suffocating. A little bit and reapply is the key. It lasts a long time and has great sillage. Yes, it smells like rose, but not like the typical cheap cologne. Many people think it’s ordinary or synthetic, but it’s been on the market for almost 20 years for a reason.

A fragrance I used in my youth and bought again recently. It hasn’t changed a bit: it’s sparkling, cheerful, and versatile. Men have complimented it on me a lot. On my skin, it lasts more than 12 hours—impressive!

  • I bought this in my 20s and picked it up again at 44. It’s still fine, elegant, and feminine. Smells like fresh roses and clean musk that leaves you feeling polished. It’s super long-lasting, almost like a perfume, and I recommend buying it blind.
