Luna Rossa by Prada

I don’t know why, but my nose is very sensitive to this scent; I can smell it from afar and everywhere. I first smelled it on a friend and asked what it was. I’ve had it for 8 years now and it’s almost finished because I save the last sprays. What I love most is that metallic note, which isn’t listed but stands out the most. I love it.

Some rush to say Luna Rossa is another Prada disappointment or doesn’t suit their skin. Let me be clear: they have no idea. As someone who has tried almost the entire Prada collection and dozens of other houses, I firmly state: the original is the crown jewel. An unparalleled, inimitable perfume with an olfactory signature that crosses time with elegance. Imagine a glass tower, natural light in an office with pressed white shirts, sophisticated calm, success, and confidence. Outside, green areas that refresh. That’s the universe of Luna Rossa. It doesn’t smell like an authoritarian boss; it smells like a leader: someone who inspires, guides, and conquers without imposing. The opening masterfully combines the energy of bitter orange with fresh, vibrant, and clean mint. Lavender, softly aromatic, blends tradition and modernity. Musk and ambroxan seal the experience with a feeling of clean, masculine, elegant, and persistent skin. It’s not loud, but never goes unnoticed. It marked me since I was young. The first time I tried it, a sample in-store, it accompanied me for hours. Even after showering, it was still there, like an echo that doesn’t disappear. Since then, it’s my olfactory signature. I’ve been faithful to it for 18 years. What about Luna Rossa Carbon? An interesting attempt, but soulless. The aquatic version? Pleasant for summer, yes, but lacks the character of the original. Luna Rossa is not just a perfume. It’s a statement of intent. It’s silent success. It’s modern elegance. And above all, it’s unforgettable.

A classic from the Italian brand, soapy, with a retro vibe. On my dry skin, it feels a bit unpleasant. Not very memorable, too discreet, and there are notes I don’t perceive, like mint and bitter orange. Test before buying, as always.

It goes well with Prada L’Homme Leau, both are spectacular, clean scent, very rich, recommended 100%.

Just arrived this morning, a very successful blind buy. In the line of Prada L’Homme, it feels clean and soft, versatile. At first I had doubts, but Prada never fails. It’s subtle, but I got lucky because I received an October 2013 batch, and even after the nearly six-hour shipping颠簸, I can still smell it perfectly. I’ll let it settle as I do with all my fragrances to improve performance, but for now, no complaints, I suppose my pH helps. A masterpiece, very happy with my purchase. If you’re a fan of clean scents and especially Prada, this is highly recommended even blind.

A minimalist and lovely fragrance. Maybe a touch medicinal due to the lavender and musk, but it has enough sweetness for any occasion. Perfect for the office, class, or going out. It projects a clean, organized vibe. Ideal for spring, summer, and early fall. Moderate longevity and projection. Safe, doesn’t bother anyone.

Pungent, rich, and pleasant scent. If you’re looking to project cleanliness, this is it. Great for work without being overwhelming. Well-received, acceptable longevity, and moderate sillage. Recommended for hot autumn, spring, and summer. Rating: 8.5/10.

I bought it weeks ago and tried Allure Homme Sport yesterday; they smell very similar. This one costs less than half the price, so I recommend Prada for the quality-to-price ratio.

No one else reminds me of H24 by Hermès; I understand that’s the one that stands out on my skin.

I love Luna Rossa; it’s been my signature for years. Even though they reformulated it under Puig or L’Oréal, I don’t care. Everything gets reformulated, and I’ve had several signatures. I don’t mind if they say it’s generic or doesn’t perform well; tastes vary. As with anything, better to try before buying. I already own several Pradas that I like and perform well: Iris Cedre, Amber, etc. If I like it and it performs, I’ll buy it.

Very citrusy and sharp, but nothing annoying. Over time, it leaves a very elegant herbal scent, and gradually you notice a sweetness, I think it’s the ambroxan with the lavender. It lasts a long time with just a few sprays. Fine and elegant aroma. Worth it from Prada.

I don’t understand the criticism; I think we just smell things differently, especially regarding the metallic tones which I don’t notice. To me, it’s a marvel, soft, a bit sweet, very pleasant, and clean. It’s almost one of my favorites. I think it’s totally unisex. I wish it lasted longer because it really fades quickly and the trail is almost non-existent. What a pity.

Normally I don’t write negative reviews because I test before buying, and the blind buys I make are oriental scents that play in a different league… here it was a gift and it’s the closest to a scam I’ve had. Poor projection, a scent that could come from a 6 or 7 euro perfume at Mercadona, and they sell it for 45; terrible longevity… if you like throwing money away, this is a good way to do it.

I don’t know why I got so angry with this fragrance when it came out. I don’t know what I expected and it wasn’t; I developed a grudge against it for not moving. The nice thing they said was that it was absurdly generic. I had to delete my previous review. I don’t know where I paid more attention and tried to understand what it had to offer (after all, it represents Prada’s sport line, so a matching scent was logical), and it ended up pleasing me, and a lot. It’s an iced cataplasm of herbs and lavender, extremely mentholated (which fortunately manages to avoid that rancid, gummy sweetness that this note sometimes has). Its vapors, icy, like a winter sea, seem to come from eucalyptus and camphor too. It brings scents of old shaving gels and brush razors, of a bare masculinity, without artifice, simple and clean, bordering on sensual. Despite its classic components and evoking traditional memories, it manages to be carefree and modern. It’s what I turn to when I escape from complicated or cloying scents. When I need to refresh and relax amidst a beautiful simplicity, masculine and bright.

Prada ADN… We agree with @Demopop. I would like to say how good everyone sees it, but I don’t. Does it resemble the other Pradas? Well, it must be the only one inflated in price. Poor longevity, bad projection, the start very marked on Ambroxol, from start to finish, I know it from the repulsion it gives me in the stomach… The other notes get lost and only a hint of artificial, plastic citrus remains. A 10-dollar perfume in a 50-dollar box… Totally discarded. Note: BEWARE if you get nauseous with Ambroxol, Ambergris, and synthetics; you’re sure this one will too. Lately, I question a lot the ratings in favor of this type of fragrance; I don’t understand it, but okay, bye. Thanks and greetings.
