  • Light and warm herbal wrap, loaded with lavender. I found it ideal for winter, not too intense, better for personal use.

In the store, the girl insisted it was from the lavender collection. I didn’t pay attention at first, but I checked Fragrantica and saw it was this bottle: yes, it has lavender, but the “sweet spicy” notes (nutmeg, cinnamon, and tonka bean) are what make the difference. It’s 100% unisex, sweet, with pepper and lavender, but the sweet spices reign supreme. A delight. Moderate longevity on paper, good fixation, and intermediate trail. If it had another name, it could pass for youthful; it reminded me of the Police family.

  • Very woody and spicy, feels serious and formal, similar to Terre d’Hermes (though they don’t smell the same); this L’Occitane one is even more serious, lacking cheerful notes, although lavender is cheerful, here the spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, and pepper stand out, with a cedar base. I see it more for mature men and formal use. On my skin, it lasted close to 8 hours with moderate to low projection. Overall, it’s pleasant, not a miracle.

  • It came out as a muted, soft version of Le Male by JPG. The resemblance is reasonable, but with less lavender and room for woods that never quite emerge. Personally, I was disappointed; it has a reputation, and given the price, it seems expensive for what it offers. Very weak in originality and performance (5h).

  • Hygienic, pleasant, and simple. Not for seduction or excitement, nor does it invade. It’s noticeable at close range in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas. I’ve noticed that the more you apply, the longer it lasts and the better the trail. It tends to bring vague memories to those who smell it. The notes vary depending on the environment and the person, but the lavender has good quality. It’s a nice tribute to the French countryside of Provence. For the price, it’s worth it: recommended.

  • The smell is fabulous, but it’s like when a friend tells you they have an incredible girlfriend and you say it’s terrible because you haven’t seen her. It’s very good, but it lasts less than an hour and fades away. It’s a disappointment to pay 54 euros for 75 ml when 8 liters of Mercadona water smell the same after an hour.

One of the best lavenders, with a spicy twist. Simple yet intense and well-made, it clings well to the skin. Fits the premium designer range. Could rival its sister, Eau des Baux; though distinct, I sense an incense-like touch, perhaps from the blend of lavender, pepper, and nutmeg. A masculine scent, versatile for mid-days and quiet nights, though it projects well at night too. Smells high-quality; this French house deserves a thought, it’s so much more than basic cosmetics. Try it in department stores. Mid-range price, but worth it for the scent. They also have deodorant, shower gel, and a citrus cologne.

  • Smells like super clean lavender and musk, very rich. L’Occitane uses top-tier ingredients. Lasts 4-5 hours on my skin, but I put it on at 6:30 and there were still bursts at 3, probably from my clothes, but people notice it. Totally recommended.

  • Smells brutal, simple, and clean: top-tier lavender and musk. Loccitane uses top-notch ingredients. Lasts 4-5 hours on my skin, but I put it on at 6:30 and people were still catching whiffs at 3 PM—probably from my clothes. Totally recommended.
