Perfect for spring, it calms and comforts. Opens with neroli, bamboo, and pink pepper; the freesia heart refreshes with a citrus-terpene note, while rice adds delicacy and creaminess. It’s not as sharp as Isfarkand, but rather green, aromatic, and woody-floral. Drying down to musk and the warmth of sweet flowers. Crisp and balanced, very typical of O. Jayne.
Champaca is an Indian flower from the magnolia family, sacred in the Indus Valley. This perfume is subtle—the kind that doesn’t announce itself when it arrives. Sweet from myrrh and musk, but not cloying. Very pleasant and great longevity.
