I can’t believe there’s no review of this masterpiece on Aroma! I debuted it yesterday, and since I tried the sample, I’ve been enchanted by the whole package. Great fixative… excellent projection… and let’s not even talk about the personality. I’m simply happy to own it. Very feminine, very aromatic, nothing simple… It’s made to be noticed. 10 out of 10 absolute!
I can’t believe there are no reviews for this gem! I tried it yesterday and fell in love with the combo from the sample. It lasts well, projects amazingly, and has a unique personality. Very feminine, aromatic, and nothing simple; it’s made to be noticed. 10/10 absolute.
An unconventional and underrated fragrance of unquestionable quality. Can women wear something less sweet and still feel sensational? Absolutely, and men too—it’s my favorite! It could be the bridge to Ormonde Elixir, with that woodland sensation at its peak. Both are darkly seductive. Black cicuta, jasmine, and violet over woody resins, drying down to a powdery finish. Fascinating! The wisdom and good taste of Ormonde Jayne.
An unconventional and underrated fragrance with impeccable quality and performance. Can women wear less sweet scents and still feel amazing? Absolutely, and so can men—this is my favorite! By the way, this ‘signature’ line perfume could be the perfect bridge to the Ormonde ‘Elixir,’ pushing that foresty sensation to the limit. Both are darkly seductive. Black cicuta, jasmine, and violet are integrated into a body of woody resins with a barely powdery drydown. Fascinating! Well done, Ormonde Jayne! You show wisdom and good taste in your balanced creations.
House of Witchcraft. I tried it by chance: while discussing Encre Noir at a gathering, the hostess let me sample it. At home, my first impression was green, in various shades and intensities, with flashes of coriander that bring calm. The scent feels clean, warm, and fresh, like freshly hung herbs on the rafters. The development keeps that green vibe, but the old furniture wood adds a dark tone without being gloomy; it smells like floral soap and aromatic sticks—the kind witches use to bring peace. It’s a blend that evokes forest scents inside a house in a clearing. Being so feminine, I imagine a mystical witch, not one with a wart on her nose. The longevity and projection are excellent, and the price is worth it. Outside my imagination, it’s quite good and looks great for sober occasions. Highly recommend trying it.
House and Witch. I tried it by chance; a friend let me sample it after I mentioned Encre Noir. At home, the first impression is green, with hints of cilantro and contained calm. It smells like a clean, warm witch’s house with fresh herbs in the beams. The development stays green, but the old furniture wood adds a dark tone without being gloomy; it smells like floral soap and the aromatic sticks a witch uses to bring peace. It’s like a forest inside a house in a clearing. I find it feminine, mystical witch vibes, not wart-wearing. Longevity and projection are great, fair price. Looks amazing with sober outfits. Highly recommend trying it!
What a great fragrance; Ormonde Jayne never disappoints. Although it’s unisex, the drydown shifts into more feminine territory: it opens with the house’s signature cardamom, a spectacular and very woody green note that feels super elegant. At this stage, it doesn’t feel feminine at all—it’s my favorite part. Over time, the spice fades, revealing a floral and talcum-powdered scent with vetiver in the base. Here, while I like it, it doesn’t captivate me as much, and I prefer the Man version. I admit a man wears it perfectly, but the talcum note overwhelms me a bit here. It’s mature, formal, and has optimal performance. Don’t wear it in the heat; the concentration is quite heavy. Very interesting.
What a great fragrance, Ormonde Jayne never misses! Being unisex, the drydown shifts to more feminine territory. It opens with cardamom, wow, green and woody, very elegant. At this stage, it doesn’t seem feminine, which is what I like most. Over time, the spice fades, it feels floral and powdery, with vetiver in the background. Here, it doesn’t captivate me as much, and I prefer the Man version; the powder overwhelms me a bit. Mature, formal, and optimal performance. Don’t wear it in heat; the concentration is heavy. Very interesting.
