Escentric Molecules’ Molecule 02 is a scent you won’t go unnoticed; some will ask what you’re wearing, many will sense its magic but stay silent out of shyness. M-02 is another synthetic gem from Geza Schoen, a genius of modern perfumery who brought us a new air. This guy broke all the rules, proving that new and interesting things can be created without following old rules. Its success isn’t due to marketing, but to public acceptance, which is growing more loyal and numerous every day.
It’s great but for me, it has nothing special. I bought it blind because people said it was a must-have, but for me, it’s a cousin of D&G’s Light Blue but less intense. To repeat, it’s not bad for daily wear and people like it, but I won’t repurchase.
To me, it smells more like fresh wood and green than ambroxan. Very pleasant, masculine, and elegant. Sometimes you catch it clearly, other times it fades away. This house is very curious.

I’m one of that 35% who can’t smell it, which is sad because I’m a fan of 01 and 05; that’s why I switched to someone who can perceive it—don’t even think about buying it blind. Edit: I bought it again and now use it for layering, and it really works 😁
Absolute beast… I can’t stop using it. I wear it alone and for layering because it’s a total fixer and boosts everything. Smells like rich, super-clean skin, like you just stepped out into the sun or sea mist. Sometimes the sweet labdanum bites, other times you get the salt of breaking waves mixed with freshly cut pine, but the best part is how it all blends into a sexy, delicate natural skin scent—the kind that smells good without trying. It’s intimate and sexy but not aggressive; it’s that kind of sexy that doesn’t ask for anything. True, it doesn’t project much; at times it feels like soft bursts with real punch. Only people very close, or when you greet them, catch it. If you wear it on a date, they’ll notice it more through physical contact. You notice it when you move your hair (if applied at the nape) or your hands (on the wrists), and it’s brutal on clothes, lasting until the wash. Worn alone, it’s 100% unisex, smells like a clean person, and invites you to get closer again.

How curious; at first, I sensed a synthetic cleaning aroma, not very strong. It reminds me of an unperfumed cleaning product—just plain cleanliness. It’s quite chemical, obviously, due to that unique chemical note, but I’m not sure how to explain it. It’s addictive and totally usable despite the chemical scent because it’s not strong at all. To feel it, you need to be very close; then it blends with the skin and smells like clothes in the sun or freshly out of the dryer, though that’s just the trail. It’s too personal; the next day, I could still feel it as clean skin, as if I’d showered with a neutral, hypoallergenic, unscented baby soap—just pure clean. I think you should spray it on various parts of your body and clothes. In short, it smells like pure cleanliness without additives. Mixed with your skin, it can vary. In my opinion, it’s unisex but slightly masculine. If you want a clean trail, I doubt it’s for you. It comes in bursts, sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker. I think it would pair well with another clean perfume. I still need to experiment because it’s particular and evokes sensations of having smelled it in other things.
I find it very masculine, but I love it. Smells like a wealthy person. I recommend it for the office, work events, and company parties.

A good option as a signature fragrance for work; it’s not invasive but noticeable and gives a sense of cleanliness. Longevity (always on my skin) is about 6-7 hours, moderate trail, moderate/low projection.

It smells like freshly showered skin with neutral soap and shampoo—that pure, clean scent. I love it for sleeping; it’s so relaxing. People say sometimes others can’t smell it after hours, but they can. If that happens to you, it’s anosmia (olfactory fatigue), which is normal and not dangerous. Ambroxan does this to some people: you think it’s gone, but others still smell it.
I owned it and noticed it very rarely; honestly, it doesn’t smell like anything.
