First impression: mandarin. I bought it for that reason and I absolutely love it, though I know it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Sometimes I feel that rejection, but I keep smelling it repeatedly trying to convince myself; I just can’t. I bought a decant because I loved the idea of minimalism, two notes max, but this wasn’t quite ideal for me. Personal taste, of course. By the way, the trail lasts.
The first spray is mandarin. I bought it for that reason, and while I like it, I know not everyone will. Sometimes I feel that rejection. I smell it repeatedly trying to get used to it, but I can’t. I bought a decant for the minimalist concept of one or two notes, but it just didn’t work for me. It’s just my taste. I’ll admit, it does last.
Although I’ve had the 01 for years, this one feels cleaner and more addictive to me. It’s become essential. Notable performance.

Incredible in summer, exquisite and long-lasting. It gives a second life boost when you sweat. Lasts about 4 hours, normally. I don’t recommend the full price because, regarding longevity, it’s not worth paying like a niche that lasts over 6 hours. Look for deals at authorized retailers, that’s what I did: two bottles and I saved more than 45%, almost a 2×1. Cheers.
Less is more. Geza Schoen proves it with Escentric Molecules and succeeds. Fewer ingredients, but extremely high quality. Obviously, there are more than the declared ones: citrus, flowers, etc., but the focus is on the protagonist. He already did it with iris in the 01+iris and here with mandarin, using top-tier essences. Easy to imagine: ISO E Super and realistic mandarin. Together they form a modern cologne, dry mandarin and almost elegant, nothing like cheap cologne. Ideal for spring and especially summer, daytime. Unisex and for any age. Casual and semi-formal. I don’t judge the longevity due to olfactory fatigue, but it lasts longer than it seems. Moderate projection. It’s a delight, playing in the same league as Prada Infusion, a masterpiece, but I feel the Prada one is less dry and more feminine. These Molecule01s are fun and interesting. Using it more, I’d say the mandarin lasts 4 hours and then ISO E Super remains on its own, as if you were wearing the original with its long-lasting drydown.
In short, it smells like what your hands smell like after peeling and squeezing an orange, with juice on your fingers. For me, a delight. Many compliments, very durable all day, from morning till night, projecting at conversation distance, light, not overwhelming. Excellent for heat. Comments around me: “What are you wearing?”, “That perfume smells good”, “You put on a woman’s perfume”, “How rich you smell”, “It smells like mandarin”. 100% recommended.
Well, well, my second niche perfume and the quality of the ingredients is noticeable compared to mass brands. This mandarin oil is top-notch, the orange smell 🍊 is constant and doesn’t stop; if you reapply it lasts over 12 hours and on clothes get ready for the compliments. I stumbled upon it by chance, I didn’t know niches existed in EDT, I thought they were only EDP or extracts. I’ve used it for two days and it’s enchanting, 100% for summer or hot springs, it would get lost in the cold, but I’ll try it anyway. It’s a flat but delicious perfume, mandarin from start to finish, even when the performance drops it remains delicate mandarin, smells like classy people. I recommend it, the price can be a hassle because it’s an EDT, but if you catch a deal at an authorized retailer don’t hesitate, it cost me 110 USD in Chile, I’ve seen other sites asking for over 150. Divine, it will be my favorite for spring-summer. Buy it now if you like citrus 🍊🍋 to the max… Cheers.
AAAAAAAAAAA!!! I’ve become the total orange man with this fragrance. To be honest, I’ve sprayed it about 30 times on my torso and pulse points, why so much? Because one goes crazy and needs to feel “clean” to hit the streets hahaha. It’s a marvel on skin, fresh and versatile for hot days. At first, it smells like REALISTIC mandarin (like if you cut an orange and rubbed the pieces on your pulse points), but the Iso E Super gives it a mineralized touch, like breathing part of the peel. The longevity is good: in the morning it projects 2 hours at 1 meter with that sharp mandarin and the refreshing Iso E Super base. Then, the mandarin fades until the fourth or fifth hour, leaving pure Iso E Super at half a meter for another hour, feeling like bursts in your personal bubble. I don’t have the original Molecule 01, but this scent is clean as a laundry room, something intense if you press your nose to it, I relate it to the “Quix” detergent from my country but with a sweet touch. It’s unique and extraordinary if you don’t know what to wear. After projecting strongly with +30º, the Iso E Super stays skin-close until the end of the day as a sweet and woody scent. It lasts the whole workday. Versatile, ideal for vacations or casual outings. I’ve used it a lot at work giving me energy and, although I’m running out of the bottle, I’ve never received a compliment (with the Molecule 01 + Iris I did, but that review is for another time). A bit pricey for its simplicity, but worth every penny for the quality and performance.
