Smells a lot of watermelon and melon (not listed) at the start, very tropical and summery. I’d say it’s unisex leaning masculine. IG @probadoaprobado.
This is a refreshing marvel. Knowing Zara, it will surely disappear soon, so I’ll buy some to keep in reserve. It smells less synthetic than the regular bogoss (which I also love). It doesn’t smell so much like pineapple; it’s ideal for the beach or pool. I think it’s totally unisex due to its fruity and refreshing nature. It’s not a beast in terms of longevity, but it’s very rich.
I hate to say it because I love it, but the fragrances in the pack (Summer + original) smell different from the store versions and aren’t exactly the same bottles. On the original, the cap is magnetic here it’s not. They feel much weaker; the original is barely noticeable when applied. On the Summer, I detect a melon note I didn’t sense in the store, though it later shifts to that rich watermelon and sea salt blend, yet it remains weaker. I’ll let them sit for a few weeks to see if maceration improves them.
I’m having trouble saying it because I adore it, but the scents in the pack (summer + bogoss original) don’t smell the same as the ones tested in-store, nor are they exactly the same bottles. In the pack, the cap isn’t magnetic and the aroma is much weaker; the bogoss is barely noticeable. In the summer, I felt a melon note that wasn’t there in-store, though it later shifts to that watermelon with such rich salty notes. Still, everything is weaker. I’ll leave them for a few weeks to see if they mellow and improve.
What a refreshing scent for hot days; for this price, there’s nothing to complain about. The only downside is that it lasts as long as a sigh.
What a joy to wear this on hot days out in the street. For this price, you can’t ask for more. Pity it lasts only a breath.
Do not recommend the pack. The quality is worse: it comes without the magnetic cap, smells less, lasts less, and is generally more unpleasant.
Few arguments defend this when there are similar Lattafa options that are cheaper and longer-lasting. If you pay little, you expect little, but that doesn’t apply here. This perfume should cost 5-6 €. CK One costs the same, lasts longer, and is a classic. Nobody buys jamón ibérico if they can’t afford it, but within your budget, choose the best. Bogoss isn’t it.
I bought it along with its sister, and although it’s simple, I couldn’t help but share my thoughts. Scent: fresh, fruity, summery. Longevity: 5 hours. Projection: 1 hour. Sillage: moderate at first, then soft. Use it in temperate or hot climates for casual situations. It’s like a compact car: not meant to cross the desert, but it’s fine for the city. I fell for the watermelon, perfect for hot days and casual use. It’s not a clone of CK One or Nautica Voyage, but it has the same vibe. Longevity is acceptable for the price and notes; there are super expensive perfumes that last the same. Average projection, better with heat. I use it for the gym, the beach, washing the car, or a relaxed Sunday. It works in the office, but requires reapplication. It’s not the best, but not the worst either. If you’re looking for something cheap to add to your collection, give it a shot. I liked it, but I won’t buy it again.
While the watermelon is noticeable at first, it evolves into a bogoss that smells a lot like Versace EAU de Fraiche. At the end, those smoky notes make the difference. To me, it’s a Versace with smoky pineapple. Smells great, very summery, though it’s not new.
It smells like watermelon, honestly, I can’t detect any other notes. Honestly, for the price, you don’t expect much. 7/10. Very good for the heat; I got a lot of compliments at school.
Fresh watermelon opening that blends with pineapple and reveals a soft leather note. Lasts 5-6 hours on the skin, over 8 if you don’t move, and shines in the heat. The watermelon-leather combo is top-tier, but be careful with the sprays: the leather can become overwhelming over time. Perfect for the beach and outdoors.
I love it. The bottle doesn’t list cucumber, but I get a cucumber note mixed with watermelon and a bit of sea salt. For me, it’s an 8/10, and for the price, I think it’s definitely worth trying.
It’s the perfect perfume for summer, considering its price and variety of notes. An opening with a spectacular watermelon aroma that then lingers but blends into a delicious pineapple. These are basic notes that don’t take risks, but executed well, which is sometimes what you have to do.
I’ve received more compliments on Bogoss Summer than on the original, though you won’t believe it, it has better projection, trail, and longevity, and people like it more for its watermelon 🍉 and pineapple 🍍 vibe with a salty 🧂 touch. I own both. But for me, that perfume projects a lot in the heat; it’s a very good perfume for tropical climates and for the summer season.
I’ve received more compliments on the Bogoss Summer than on the original; in fact, it has better projection, sillage, and longevity. I love its watermelon, pineapple, and sea salt notes. I own both, but this one shines in tropical climates and summer.
A very interesting proposal from Zara for summer. It smells fresh, rich, and in the background comes out an aroma listed as watermelon but which to me seems like melon; mixed with pineapple, it works very well in spring and summer. The fragrance comes out pulsating, salty, ozonic, very fresh, and improves with the dry down, which turns it into something more serious and rich… A different Vibrant Leather but with a very Vibrant Leather base. For me, it’s a great perfume if it weren’t for the fact that it doesn’t last long, but for the price, it’s very good… An 8 out of 10.
Vibrant Leather Bogoss Summer by Zara: Without being too demanding, I’ll say it smells good, is pleasant to wear, and has its own thing. Definitely, some will find it not very new or say there are better options. However, somehow it stands out: this week, several people asked me what I was wearing, and it was a pleasant surprise since I didn’t even expect it myself. It seems something so simple can achieve great results. My experience has been totally positive. I’m not saying it’s groundbreaking, a hidden gem, or the best perfume, but it was striking, pleasant, and very enjoyable. To my perception, it doesn’t smell exactly like watermelon; rather, the fruity part combined with the aquatic notes makes it very balanced and attractive. It’s fresh, luminous, and cheerful. Performance is normal, no disappointments. Scent: 9.0. Projection: 2 hours well. Longevity: 5-6 hours max. Recommended.
Honestly, it doesn’t last very long for me. It has a fresh opening with a sweet touch, I think watermelon. As it dries down, it loses some of that sweetness and initial citrus brightness, turning into something different—and for me, almost better. I love the dry down. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I seem to lose it the moment I spray it.
Wow, I feel young again! It transports me back to 2005, when I wore Versace Man Jeans, another very fresh scent. It’s youthful but wearable in the heat. The opening is pleasant, though I think it’s short for the wearer since others can smell it from 2 meters away. It changes the order of its notes exactly as expected. I rate it as very good. Keep in mind that 2-4 hours of wear for its price in Mexico (400 pesos or $20) is excellent and enough for a night out or work after a shower. It doesn’t saturate or impose; it’s just pleasant, like a Versace Pour Homme.
Ugh, I felt like I was 19 again, just like in 2005 with Versace Man Jeans, another freshie. It’s youthful but wearable in the heat; the opening is pleasant, though I think it’s too short for the wearer since others can smell it from two meters away. It changes the order of its notes exactly as expected. I rate it as very good: at its price in Mexico (400 pesos or $20), it lasts 2 to 4 hours, excellent for an outing or going from the shower to work. It doesn’t overwhelm or impose; it’s just pleasant, like a Versace Pour Homme.
I got this blind because it’s not sold here. I already loved the Bogoss, but since this one is more ozonic and aquatic, I decided to try it. At first, I thought, ‘No! What did I buy?’. But after 5-10 minutes, it transforms: it becomes sweet, tropical, and fruity. It’s an invigorating perfume that instantly lifts your mood. At 15°C in winter, it makes you feel like you’re in summer. Indoors, you get constant bursts for 5-6 hours; outdoors, it’s noticeable for the first half hour and then seems to disappear, but I think it’s just olfactory fatigue and the wind. The only thing missing is trying it in spring and summer. For the price, I’d give it a 9.
What a delight for summer! It’s good, looks great, and incredibly cheap. Lasts about 6 hours, projects strongly, and the trail works wonderfully; for the price, it beats many designer scents. After wearing it more, I’ve realized it’s not just for summer—it’s also fantastic in spring and the early days of autumn. It feels great close to the skin for 6+ hours and has a casual vibe: perfect for hanging out with friends, grabbing coffee with your girlfriend, going shopping, or taking a stroll.
