Have you worn Blue Seduction?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. Bought my first 100ml bottle after trying it in a store and falling in love; I wanted the 200ml, but I redeemed points for this one instead. It’s my first Antonio Banderas: fresh, clean, with that classic blue note that never fails. Perfect for everyday wear, the office, or casual outings; it has a subtle sophistication without trying too hard. Summer, sea, and guaranteed cleanliness. I even smelled it on my skin after a shower. A great blind buy, cheers.

If you’re looking for a 12-hour beast, forget this one. But if you want to capture the essence of an eternal summer with a vibrant blue scent that blends into the skin, Blue Seduction is the gold standard. Fresh, sensual, and totally honest.

Smells like sex on the beach. It’s short-lived but a legendary experience. You can overapply a bit to boost longevity, but it’s really meant for short outings away from home. The scent is exquisite and seductive, just as promised.

  4. I picked this up on sale in Santiago, 200ml for 20 bucks. Smells rich and summery, but on my skin it lasted about 5 hours; you’ll definitely need to reapply.

  5. The bottle deceives and promises something decent, but it lasts as long as a sigh. Within minutes it gets complicated and then unbearable; I had to wash my arm and the smell was still stuck there. Smells like sticky, synthetic watermelon and cheap perfume. More than seduction, it screams adolescence, wet locker room, and budget deodorant. Perfect for understanding where not to go.

The fragrance has great potential, but it’s very weak and the projection is poor. If you use it, apply more than 15 sprays; it’s the same as Nautica Voyage—the scent is good but you have to overdo it a bit. I’ve received many compliments this way. With fewer sprays before, I couldn’t even smell it on myself. You’ll feel fresh and clean, it’s for daily use, but the performance is lacking. Buy the 200ml and apply it without regrets.

  7. Rich and fulfilling perfume, lasts about 4 to 6 hours with a great sillage for the first hour. A very pleasant scent for daytime; I’d say it smells like a cool single dad, haha. Highly recommended and the price is 10/10.

I grab it when heading out to the country estate with the family. It smells a bit like ham to me, I’m not sure why.

Amazingly good, but the longevity is abysmal. It’s a really nice perfume, a joy to wear just to smell it, but it lasts at most an hour. Not a good buy.

  10. Spectacular aroma. It’s a freshness bomb. It doesn’t last anything these days, but few perfumes feel this fresh.

Years ago my sister gifted me the version with the light blue liquid and I used it a lot. Years later, I tried a sample at a bookstore in Chile and, what a surprise, it’s now blue and lasted me over 6 hours. They reformulated for the better; I bought three bottles. Maybe it’s cheap, but it smells excellent, especially for summer. It’s an olfactory experience, addictive with melon, citrus, and wood notes. Screw those who say it’s low quality because it’s cheap; it’s a must-have in every perfume collection.

  12. Well, as they say around here… Yes, it’s very affordable, but it’s still a good perfume. People with a good sense of smell know how to spot the details, and I can assure you this fragrance has earned me compliments. It radiates freshness and cleanliness, and that cappuccino note makes it a bit more versatile with an exquisite and charming aroma.

I bought it and didn’t like it… It has a cheap, catalog-like scent… I only use it when going to buy bread… Not recommended.

  14. It’s a workhorse. It’s one of those all-rounders you can’t do without. Certainly, it’s a mass-produced fragrance that many people might share. I’ve repurchased it twice, and it always saves me in a pinch. A fragrance for everyday wear, cheerful and friendly.

  15. Important notice: I bought one yesterday, batch 2025 from 7 months ago. I can say the performance has improved; I put 4 sprays on my wrists, 6 on my neck, and it’s noticeable. I tested it at the gym, and my sister told me she could smell it spreading around the gym. As for longevity, I have to test it more, but 5 hours is for sure, maybe more.

  16. Batch 50311 from March 2025, 200ml, lasting more than 8 hours on skin with projection and sillage over 6 feet with a generous application, of course fading slowly over time. Obviously, there was a positive reformulation because previous batches didn’t last even three hours on skin. The fragrance is fantastic, suitable for all weather and situations. One thing though, the ‘experts’ who rate the notes, next time get the translation right, because watermelon isn’t cantaloupe; it’s watermelon. It’s very obvious they aren’t experts, they don’t even know how to use Google Translate. The perfume basically smells like watermelon and cappuccino, all wrapped up in something very fresh. A must-buy, especially considering the price.

Very fresh perfume, not too cloying and quite light. Perfect for daily use in warm climates. Average longevity, light projection. An affordable perfume that’s worth it.

Exquisite fragrance, but its only flaw is that it fades quickly; don’t even bother wearing it in the wind. Perfect for closed spaces and hot weather, though it lacks longevity and projection. On dry skin, it lasts maybe two or three hours at best, so it’s only worth it if you plan to reapply.

It’s one of the best-selling fragrances at major high-traffic airports because with the trend of your luggage not arriving and wanting a fragrance to get you by without spending much, these are the ones that always have ‘discounts’ at duty-free. A fairly acceptable fragrance, but it’s universally known that they last a breath, but you can’t ask for much at the counter price. Fresh, summery, fulfilling in its short life, and cheap; you necessarily have to keep it in your backpack or briefcase to reapply. If you want to survive a day smelling decent, you might have to use at least a quarter of the bottle in the best-case scenario.

A very rich fragrance, and that’s what it is: a rich fragrance with pleasant notes that most people like. It’s an intimate fragrance that stays only on your skin; it projects almost nothing, unless you just applied it, of course. Its longevity is low; personally, it lasted about 4 hours for me, and the last hour was only noticeable if I smelled the application area closely. I recommend it for all ages, as it’s a perfume that could be said to ‘just smell good’ and nothing more. It’s rich, fresh, salty, and marine; it conveys a sense of cleanliness, perfect if you want to smell good without needing to project too much. In my case, I noticed quite a bit of the salt and marine notes, which predominate, with a distant melon (or watermelon). As for the cappuccino note, it mixes too much with the melon note, feeling like a very fresh melon with that slightly creamy cappuccino touch. If you focus well, you can smell the cappuccino better. In short, nothing sexy, nothing innovative, nothing powerful… Just clean and delicious.

  21. One of my first perfumes. Fresh, sweet, and very rich for hot days. It’s the best Antonio Banderas fragrance in terms of quality and price; it compliments without being offensive. It does have a dark side: it doesn’t last or project much. It’s low-key, perfect for someone calm who doesn’t want to draw attention.

  22. It’s ridiculous that everyone votes ‘melon’ when it smells like watermelon. That happens if you know nothing about fragrances or English and translate ‘watermelon’ literally. It’s great to see how they expose themselves. Besides that, it smells like watermelon and coffee with milk. The 200ml usually comes in for $20-25, so its short longevity is compensated by reapplication. Now it lasts less and projects for an hour, but with generous application you can reach 10 hours on skin. Watermelon is watermelon, not cantaloupe.

  23. Fresh and slightly sweet, ideal for summer. Melon dominates with a touch of bergamot at the start, leaving behind aquatic, fresh mint as it dries. Sometimes you can subtly detect apple. Blackcurrant and woody notes are just background, adding body but contributing little. Performance is decent, around 4-5 hours (then it stays on the skin depending on the day). Projection is personal, don’t expect much. For the price, it’s a steal; I got 200ml for 13 euros, so you can’t ask for more. Great for running errands or shopping.

With over 130 perfumes in my collection, this was a disappointment. It’s not a bad scent, but nothing enchanting or spectacular. It’s a bit sticky, sweet, lacks personality, and is boring. I imagined it more virile and charming, as Antonio Banderas projects. There’s none of that here, though you can’t expect the best at this price point. If you’re new, you might like it, but if you know your way around fragrances, don’t waste your money. Skip it; you won’t miss out. I see it as suitable for teenagers aged 13 to 17.

Exquisite fragrance, one of the best for summer. A pity about the performance—it’s too weak and mediocre. But… for the price, it’s totally worth it. I got it for under $15 with the body spray included, so don’t be afraid to reapply. Just buy a decant and you’re good.

I tried it today at Carrefour after seeing a video… honestly, I’m not a fan of these perfumes, especially their short longevity and how alcohol-heavy they smell right out of the bottle. But this one I liked; it reminds me a lot of my beloved 2018 Dior Sport. I’d say it’s about 80% similar.

I hate this perfume; nobody liked it. Some even compared it to a damp basement smell, and I had to toss it.

I tried the D&G Light Blue for women (supposedly unisex) and realized I already knew it… It’s basically Armani’s Blue Seduction, which smells very similar to Versace’s Eau Fraiche. Same thing, in the end.
