Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
It smells equally of cherry, honey, and oud, all locked in a bottle. They clearly didn’t put much engineering into its creation because when you smell it, the oud and cherry explode together (you can clearly tell each one apart), with a rose that blends between them, adding a creamy/light touch to a perfume that is otherwise very dense and dark. Top-notch quality and everything you could want, but it’s not worth the price. If you like this style or are an oud fan, you’ll be hooked. Not for summer.
Me and cherry just don’t mix, period. This one actually smells better than the others; it still carries that classic bitter-sweet caramel note that’s so synthetic and far from real fruit, but the dry-down is darker here with wood and leather. I prefer this dry-down compared to the rest, but ultimately, it’s not for me.
Me and cherries just don’t get along… that’s a fact. This cherry is more pleasant to my nose, yes, because although it still smells (like all cherry scents) like burnt sugar or classic caramel, that synthetic and artificial scent foreign to the real fruit. Here it smells darker, with woods and leather, and that drydown interests me more than in other cherry perfumes. Still, this isn’t for me.
This is basically putting caramelized cherry and oud almost equally into a bottle. They clearly didn’t bother to create it, because when you smell it, both come out all at once (they are clearly noticeable separately) and a rose that melts between them, adding creaminess and lightness to a very heavy and dark perfume. Very good quality and everything you could want, but it doesn’t deserve the price. If you like this style or are an oud fan, you’ll find it addictive. Not valid for summer.
It grabs and lasts, but in heat or rain it becomes a mess; the cherry and leather blend until they become annoying, so although it’s unisex, it suits girls better.
It lasts quite a bit, but nothing recommended for heat or rain because it accentuates the essence too much and can become annoying, even to those who find it excessive. Although it can be unisex, if it lasts longer, the combination of cherry and leather dominating the cherry could make it more feminine.
To me, it’s very feminine. The cherry and oud sound good, but the fragrance is floral and the rose dominates everything; the cherry ends up very soft and the oud is barely noticeable.

The oud is also greatly subdued by other notes. In short, it’s a floral fragrance.
Honestly, I expected more; the price is outrageous, almost $600. It opens with a juicy, sweet cherry that evolves quickly. Then comes the oud and a bit of leather, a fairly usable oud. If it cost half as much, it would be worth it, but at that price you can find better things. Still, Guerlain is my favorite designer house.

I’m testing it alongside Cherry Smoke, one on each wrist since they share notes and price. Here, it does smell like cherry at first, but the oud and leather are so strong that in the drydown everything else gets lost, and for me, it becomes more masculine. On the other one, the cherry comes through more and the smoky wood makes it more interesting. That said, the longevity and sillage are potent.
