  • This scent is like a refreshing wave of delicious sandalwood for the delight of all senses. In this original blend, we appreciate a vibrant, spicy ginger, along with subtle floral accords in this melodic composition; it’s a sandalwood wrapped in citrus notes, warm spices, and woodiness, led mainly by cardamom and lime. The cedar is spot on. What I least appreciate are the ylang-ylang and the coffee. It’s very comfortable, light, and easy to wear, plus it’s an essence that attracts many compliments because, despite being fresh, it’s very noticeable. Genderless. Totally neutral. To me, it’s like an appealing sandalwood refresher with the ingredients mentioned. I love it and consider it ideal for spring and summer. Longevity: about six to eight hours. Sillage: moderate, around an arm. What a delightful fragrance and especially very original; it doesn’t try to copy anything. 10/10 ✔️

Santal Volcanique must be one of the brand’s most famous perfumes, and I think it’s a beautiful scent, though not overly flashy. It’s undoubtedly an excellent sandalwood—creamy, spiced just right, slightly citrusy, and clean. It doesn’t have much evolution on my skin, but it reminds me of Givenchy’s Pi and D&G’s The One without being remotely similar; instead, it has a woody vibe and a similar sweet touch. It’s a more masculine, versatile, and generally pleasant fragrance. My impression is that this scent has served as a foundational base for many modern perfumes (considering sandalwood is an ultra-used note) and remains a rich aroma with subtle nuances. It doesn’t give me the same surprise factor as other scents from the brand. Despite that, I do recommend trying it. Rating: 7.5/10

  • I love it. The opening is super fresh and aromatic—an elegant, rich masculine classic that suits me perfectly. The dry-down is a hybrid between D&G’s By Man and Gucci Envy, two 90s icons that were the height of cool back then but now sound a bit dated. I really like the scent, but it also smells a little vintage, which is why I’m not ready to buy it. If you’re into that classic 90s vibe, you’ll absolutely adore this proposal—it’s decidedly more masculine and, in my opinion, a great signature for men over 40. Note: it doesn’t smell like a fougère, just like a man. I find it very attractive. Miao

  • To me, it smells like glass cleaner. I’m sorry, but I don’t like it at all. This brand has some truly amazing fragrances, but Santal Volcanique isn’t one of them. I only tried it in a decant, so I can’t comment on its development. As for the scent: citrusy, ginger-like, you can tell, but something gives it that chemical glass-cleaner vibe. It’s a hard no for me.

  • Honestly, it smells like glass cleaner to me. I’m sorry, but I just don’t like it. This brand has some great gems, but Santal Volcanique isn’t one of them. I only tried it in a decant, so I can’t comment on the evolution. The scent is citrusy and ginger-forward, but it feels incomplete and chemical to me. It’s a hard no for me.

  • Terrible. A sacrilege to compare it to Envy. Santal Volcanique smells like soap and is a very common scent to me.

  • vladidelmundo

A high-quality sandalwood that smells exquisite, elegant, noble, creamy, and clean like a high-end white floral soap. I absolutely loved it; perfect to wear with a white shirt.

A scent I didn’t expect. At first, cardamom and ginger dominate, staying as the main players alongside the soft sandalwood. The coffee note is very subtle and I only catch it occasionally. A very soapy and clean fragrance.

A scent I didn’t expect at all. The truth is, cardamomo and ginger dominate at first, staying as the main characters alongside the soft sandalwood. The coffee note is very subtle, catching only occasionally. A very soapy and clean fragrance.

  • It’s a top-tier fragrance, but nothing youthful. Picture an adult man in the bathroom after shaving and applying aftershave and cologne. It smells great; the citrus and spicy blend (cardamomo really stands out) melds beautifully into something unexpected with its notes. It’s soapy and clean, and the musk is very well crafted.
