Richard has spent his entire career at Robertet, a French fragrance house known for its specialization in natural ingredients, which undoubtedly has influenced his unique approach to perfume creation.
Richard Ibanez’s career in the fragrance industry took off in 1986 when he created his first significant fragrance for the brand Divine. He continued collaborating with Divine on several occasions in 2005 and 2006. In 1993, Richard drew even more attention by creating two perfumes for Sonia Rykiel, and later distinguished himself with the creation of Pure Lavender for Azzaro in 2001. His career truly accelerated with the development of Ibiza Hippie and Into The Blue for Escada in 2003 and 2006, respectively.
Since then, Richard Ibanez has established creative collaborations with some of the most prominent brands in the world. His diverse portfolio includes creations for Marc O'Polo, Lalique, Jovoy Paris, Jaguar, Grès, Azzaro, and many others.
