I tried it and I loved it. It’s true that it’s soft and delivers exactly what its name says: pear, pear, and more pear, but it smells amazing. I think it’s an original scent because it’s not easy to find perfumes with so much fruity character. The only downside is I’m not ready to pay full retail price, as sometimes it smells more like a fresh cologne or body mist than a luxury perfume, though it lasts well and ultimately leaves a rich vanilla trail, just close to the skin. The good news is I’ve seen it on several websites at rock-bottom prices, so who knows… maybe I’ll pick it up later.

I love it. It doesn’t just smell like pear; once it settles, it turns into a dusted carnation. I mix it with Chocolate Greedy and it’s an olfactory showstopper. The downside: it doesn’t last as long as other Montale scents.
