It’s way too expensive for just 50ml, and I’m still not sure if it was worth it. It’s sweet, floral, fresh, and powdery. I’ve worn it day and night without getting overwhelmed (and I use at least six sprays). I’ve noticed the vanilla and jasmine, but I don’t understand how they blend to create that warm, sweet aroma. The bottle is beautiful; the entire packaging is stunning with soft violet inside and out, and the bottle itself is iridescent violet. I thought violet would be the star, but it isn’t, and I like that since I already have other fragrances where violet is the main focus.
It disappointed me. I bought it blindly expecting it to smell like violet, similar to Guerlain’s Insolence, based on the color and name, but it doesn’t. What stands out most is the vanilla with kumquat, followed by apple and then violet. The scent is original but doesn’t convince me. Plus, I hate patchouli and didn’t notice it was in there; it becomes very noticeable on the skin over time. The only good thing is the bottle—it’s gorgeous and fits perfectly with my collection of Daisy, Daisy Dream, and Daisy Eau So Fresh.
