  • I’d been searching for a pure vanilla perfume since the others were blends with citrus or spices. This is simply vanilla, which is exactly what I wanted. It smells soft, doesn’t sting, and isn’t cloying. Lasts about half a day. I recommend it for day or night. I’m a man and I think it’s unisex.

  • I use it for sleeping. It smells like cookies and the guys love it. Perfect for keeping in the car and using anytime.

  • I have it and it doesn’t work for me. Maybe because it’s an eco line, it smells like dry, harsh vanilla with no sweetness at all. Nothing like the gourmand vanilla I love. I remember using a vanilla Garnier shampoo as a teenager; it was the juiciest, warmest vanilla scent I’d ever smelled, unfortunately it’s discontinued.

  • I own it and it doesn’t work for me. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s an eco line, but it smells like dry, harsh vanilla, nothing sweet. It’s nothing like the gourmand vanilla I love. When I was a teenager, I used a Garnier vanilla shampoo; it was the most delicious, warm, and juicy thing around, unfortunately it’s no longer available.

  • Cloying and artificial, perfect for quinceañeras, but I’m still searching for that custard cookie scent and this isn’t it. I have it and I’m tossing it. If you want rich, creamy vanilla from Yves Rocher, I recommend Vanilla Noire Parfum. The only downside is it doesn’t last long on my skin.

  • Super cloying and artificial; more suitable for a quinceañera party than real use. I was looking for a cookie and custard vibe, and this isn’t it. I’m throwing it away. If you want rich, creamy vanilla, try Yves Rocher’s Vanilla Noire. The downside is it doesn’t last long on the skin.

  • Natural vanilla scent, super subtle and perfect for everyday wear. Nothing cloying or over-the-top, just delicious and fresh vanilla, which is hard to find.

I adore it! It’s a delicious scent, like cookies or bonbons, sweet to the point of madness, even to the point of waking up the appetite in whoever perceives it. I’ve received all kinds of positive comments; I used it a lot at university, and people knew I was there just by the scent—a quality we all seek. It’s quite affordable, and for such a low price, you get a real gem. I don’t have it anymore, but I won’t hesitate to buy it again when I find it. For those who love very sweet perfumes like me, you must try it.

I love it! To me, it smells like cookies or candy bars, insanely sweet, to the point where it wakes up your appetite. I’ve received positive comments; I used it a lot at university and everyone knew I was around by the scent, which is a quality we look for in a fragrance. It’s affordable and for that price, it’s a steal. I don’t currently own it, but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. For those who love things super sweet, you must try it.

  • Every time I wear it, people say I smell like the caramelized almonds at the fairs (for those who don’t know, they’re delicious). I’ve been using it for years, and although it’s more targeted at teenagers, I swear I love it for daily winter wear.

  • Lasts forever, easily over twelve hours on skin and clothes, even days later. I like it, but I only use it sparingly because it smells like a heart attack to some and drives others crazy; there’s no middle ground. I’ve never mixed it, but I think it could work well together—I’ll let you know if I try it.

  • It has an amazing longevity; it lasts more than 12 hours on my skin and clothes for several days. I like it, but I use it in minimal amounts. It’s not the first time I’ve met people who are absolutely bothered by it, yet others go crazy for it; there’s rarely a middle ground. I’ve never dared to mix it, but I think there could be great combinations. I’ll let you know if I get the courage to try it and if it works out.

Ideal for bedtime; it feels so warm, like a hug. Synthetic? Of course it is, and it smells synthetic, but that doesn’t make it ugly; it’s a lovely, linear, comforting, and coquettish fragrance. I get a very sweet vanilla vibe. The sillage is moderate and the projection very soft; I wouldn’t wear it out, only at home, especially before bed.

It’s a gourmand scent that needs to be applied in moderation, or you’ll end up smelling like hotcakes, as my little nephew told me. That said, it’s intoxicating and I love it!

  • I used it daily for class and work. Maximum sweetness. Quite persistent at first, but not very long-lasting. My very sweet-toothed sister told me someone was going to take a bite out of me just from smelling like dessert!

  • I stopped using it because on two occasions bees landed on my clothes sprayed with it (sometimes days earlier), and that says it all.

Such memories. It’s no longer made, but I don’t need the bottle to evoke the scent. I’d love to own one, though I wouldn’t wear it out anymore since it doesn’t match my style or personality. I also don’t think it would appeal to everyone; it was extremely cloying. I don’t recall getting compliments, and I’m not surprised, it was too sweet. I discovered it at a university seminar; the smell of sugary vanilla from cakes always came to mind. I asked a girl and she said it was the Yves Rocher one. I wore it for years at university until Prada Candy came out, which was deeper and more charming. Now I prefer earthier, less linear scents that offer more than just smelling like a candy store. Even with gourmand perfumes, I like them to have a bit of a ‘dirty’ edge (like Scandal before reformulation). But I’ll always keep a good memory of this cologne, which sparked my interest in fragrances.

So many memories. They don’t make it anymore, but I don’t need the bottle to evoke its scent. I’d love to have it, though I wouldn’t wear it outside anymore because it doesn’t fit my style or personality. I also don’t think it would appeal to everyone; it was extremely, extremely cloying. I don’t remember getting compliments, and I’m not surprised; it was too sweet. I discovered it at a university seminar: it smelled like sugared vanilla for cakes, and I loved it. I asked a girl what it was, and she said it was Yves Rocher. I bought it and carried it in my bag for years until Prada Candy came out. Prada Candy was sweet but had more depth. Now I prefer earthier, less linear scents that offer more than just a candy store vibe. Even in gourmands, I’m looking for a bit of ‘dirty’ character, like Scandal did before its reformulation. But I’ll always keep a fond memory of this cologne, which sparked my interest in perfumes.

So delicious! I found it at a flea market while it was 31 degrees out and I couldn’t resist—I’m a sucker for sweets. It smells like pure vanilla dessert, very warm; it works in summer, but it’s the perfect complement to rain and cold. I’m dying to wear it in autumn. What a shame they discontinued it.
