  I’m blown away by the sheer number of notes! To me, it’s synthetic vanilla but incredibly delicious. I guess I detect a hint of peach and lots of coconut, but nothing else. It’s sweet without being cloying. I use it alone or as a base to boost other vanillas. Moderate-to-high sillage and it lasts 8 hours, which is beastly for 4 euros. The only downside: it only comes in 30ml, and I need more, but it’s perfect for a purse. Would I buy it again? Yes.

  It smells super synthetic, like a bathroom air freshener. I don’t recommend it, though I do like other fragrances from La Rive.

  I really enjoy this vanilla for its excellent quality-to-price ratio. It leaves a rich scent on the skin and, unlike others, doesn’t smell synthetic to me. I detect coconut, a floral note with gardenia, and a slightly powdery base. It’s very pleasant; on my skin, it lasts six to seven hours. Moderate sillage. Sometimes there are unexpected bursts of the scent throughout the day. At 3.95 euros, the quality is unbeatable. I wear it alone or layer it with other fragrances to add that extra vanilla touch.

  At first, it reminds me of the discontinued Yves Rocher Bourbon Vanilla. Dry down smells like a doll straight out of the box, which I love. That plastic note is synthetic, but it doesn’t repel me; instead, it adds charm. Intimate sillage and acceptable longevity. Perfect for leisure, staying home, or dates where you want someone to get closer without you saying much. Some say it smells like Play-Doh, but to me it doesn’t; it’s also not like L’Erbolario’s Mandorla, which is more complex, though it does resemble Vanilla Lace. Even though people say it’s tropical because of the coconut, it smells linear and you don’t notice many notes, which is perfect for me. 30ml for 4 euros on makeup.es, throw it in the cart just to avoid shipping costs. I loved it and will reorder when it runs out.

Even if you’re just buying it to avoid shipping costs on another item, toss it in the cart. I loved it and can’t ask for more at this price. I’ll probably reorder when it runs out.

  It’s one of my top vanillas and doesn’t smell synthetic to me. I love it more once it settles than right when I spray it, because that’s when I notice something creamy, probably coconut, which is my favorite note. It reminds me of coconut cookies. The longevity and sillage are brutal; I already bought the small size, but I’m definitely upgrading to the large one.

  One of my top vanillas. I don’t feel it’s synthetic; I love it more dry because it smells creamy, probably thanks to that coconut I adore. It reminds me of coconut cookies. The longevity and sillage are brutal. I bought the small size, but I’m definitely upgrading to the big one.

  Surprisingly cheap. Although it smells synthetic, it evolves and projects well. At first, it’s an attractive floral vanilla, and it dries down to an undeclared, playful white musk. With so many niche perfumes out there, I’m surprised at what this low-cost option offers.
