V/S is Versace’s hidden gem, perhaps the most overlooked in its history. When it launched in the 2000s, it got lost in the noise of designer and niche novelties, leaving no trace on forums or discussions. What’s the scent? Metallic spices, a super futuristic masculine floral that reminds me a bit of D&G The One. Back then, Versace was bold and eccentric; here there are no fluff compliments, but an aroma that breaks convention and embraces the new millennium’s style. Moderate longevity but it lasts well. If you can grab it cheap since it’s discontinued, buy it to understand the soul of the Italian house from that era. It totally won me over.

It’s just another generic fresh perfume, nothing to highlight, with average longevity. To me, it feels very bland and goes completely unnoticed. I’ve never received a single compliment wearing it. I wouldn’t recommend it; while Versace has other top fragrances, this one is the exception.
