  • The first thing that stands out is its performance for a Zara fragrance, where longevity is usually short. I put it on at 5 PM, the trail lasted over an hour, it was noticeable for 6-7 hours, and even the next day it lingered close to the skin. It smells like what you know from Tuscan Leather or La Yuqawam, but it has its own personality: the leather is more gourmand and green, thanks to the iris and bergamot—less harsh and much more wearable. A pleasant surprise at $15.95 for 80 ml; it shouldn’t be missing from your collection.

  • Intense, be careful with the sprays. A scent for winter, class, and mystery. In the testing phase, so far so good.

First off, this has nothing to do with Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather—that’s a different league. To me, it sounds more like Dior’s Fahrenheit. It smells like a leather jacket with a floral touch that, for me, ends up smelling like petroleum. It just needs a bit more sweetness to make sense. I’m not convinced; I think the YouTubers are exaggerating. The problem is there are no testers in-store; if I’d tried it first, I’d have saved those $23. Just my personal opinion.

  • More of a suede scent than leather, a very pleasant dry suede. Saffron is noticeable, along with a floral background sensation I imagine is iris, powdery but not very sweet. Good performance, easily reaching 8 hours. It doesn’t resemble Ombre Leather or Tuscan Leather; this has its own personality, very easy to wear with a great personal scent. Well done, Zara.

Basically the best clone of Memo Moroccan Leather; they’re essentially identical. Iris. Not much leather; if you’re looking for a deeper iris than Prada Infusion d’Iris, this could be a good choice. It has nothing to do with Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather, absolutely nothing. Nor with Ombré Leather. True Leather is completely unisex, bordering on feminine, perfect for spring. By far the best thing I’ve smelled from Zara, though it bores me just as much as Memo does. Rating 7.5.

  • It’s more of a dry suede scent than leather, very pleasant. You can detect saffron and a floral base, probably powdery iris but not sweet. Good performance, around 8 hours. It doesn’t resemble Ombre Leather or Tuscan Leather; it has its own personality, easy to wear, and feels great on the skin. Well done, Zara.

  • It has nothing to do with Tuscan Leather or so many leather fragrances based on isobutyl quinoline. The core note is an incredibly realistic suede. I’d love to know how they achieve it. The closest thing I know is suedeal, but this smells like something I’ve never smelled before. Accompanying this suede, the iris adds warmth and sensuality to the whole. Excellent longevity (8-9 hours in my case) and moderate projection. Very pleasant to wear, not intrusive, and very versatile.

  • It has nothing to do with Tuscan Leather or those leather fragrances based on isobutyl quinoline. What they’ve got is an incredibly realistic suede—I don’t know how they pull it off. The closest thing I know is Suederal, but this is something else entirely. Paired with iris, it adds warmth and sensuality. Lasts a long time, about 8-9 hours, with moderate projection. Very pleasant, not intrusive, and versatile.

  • Smells good but nothing extraordinary. Far from being an outstanding leather fragrance, beware of YouTuber hype that distorts things for likes. I own it and it has nothing special: it’s a boring fragrance without composition or depth. It’s cheap, yes, a simple leather without nuances. There are few quality and affordable fragrances; something good and quality is almost never cheap.

  • Well, starting with the box pyramid: bergamot, pink pepper, saffron, iris, caramel, dry amber, vetiver, leather, evernyl, and musk. It has similarities to Night Pour Homme V, the clone of Baccarat Rouge 540. The saffron, caramel, and moss… then a prominent leather appears that, for me, reminds me of Tuscan Leather, but with less intensity and not being a single-note accord, the feeling is different. Something curious happened: at times, I was reminded of a trip to Tunisia I took years ago, not sure if due to perfumes or materials from there. For me, who has trouble smelling many leathers, it didn’t disappoint entirely (all indoor, I must say). I suppose it helps that it’s very blended; sometimes the leather and caramel mix doesn’t seem very harmonious, but honestly, it’s a curious fragrance with decent quality for the price. Recommended to try.

  • A suede bomb with excellent 8-hour longevity on my skin and moderate projection. It’s not intrusive because the sillage is quite contained.

  • Great longevity. I’d define it as a sparkling green leather. It smells exactly like Ambergris Showers’ Yuqawam, which in turn is inspired by Memo Irish Leather. Not a blind buy, but in this case, there’s no other way to test it.

  • I received this True Leather yesterday, which I’d been dying to try. It was a blind buy that didn’t disappoint. What surprised me most is how soft it is, nothing like Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather or La Yuqawam. It feels like an elegant, realistic suede, with spices like pepper or saffron that aren’t listed but are very present. At first, you notice the bergamot, but quickly the suede and spices take over. In the end, you detect moss and vetiver, but not the iris or caramel. It’s elegant and sophisticated, making me think of luxurious settings with jazz in the background. At times, it reminds me of a gin and tonic with cucumber. The downside is the weak projection and longevity: after a few minutes, it’s barely audible, only close to the skin.

  • I tried the True Leather I’ve been craving yesterday. Bought it blind without fear and it didn’t disappoint. What surprised me most is that, despite being leather, it smells incredibly soft; nothing like Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather or Yuqawam, which is pure leather and raspberry. Instead, it smells like very elegant, realistic suede, with a touch of spices like pepper or saffron not listed but present in the scent. Bergamota is noticeable at first, but suede and spices dominate almost immediately. When dry, it smells of moss and vetiver, though I can’t detect the iris, caramel, or musk. It’s a very sophisticated fragrance that makes me think of luxury settings with well-dressed people and jazz in the background. At times, its brightness reminds me of a gin and tonic with a cucumber slice. The only downside is that it projects nothing and doesn’t last; after a few minutes, it’s barely skin-scent.

  • The most masculine fragrance Zara has ever made. No bubblegum or vanilla here, just a rugged man from the fields. For men over 40 or those willing to take a risk. Exclusive for cold weather and lasts forever on skin and twice as long on clothes.

  • Zara’s most masculine fragrance to date: zero bubblegum or vanilla. It smells like a rugged man from the countryside, ideal for those over 40 or the brave. Best for cold weather; it lasts forever on skin and twice as long on clothes.
