What a find! It’s a far cry from that synthetic, overly sweet Arab perfumery dominating the market right now. It’s vintage barbershop style, but since it’s a 2019 formula, they’ve given it a modern twist; it doesn’t smell old, it smells classic, like a well-tuned muscle car. Maybe it won’t appeal to the masses who just follow trends, but those who live the vintage lifestyle (fashion, design, aesthetics) will absolutely love it. If it’s not your personality, pass on it, but you can’t deny its natural origins—nothing too chemical. It’s a fougère with just the right amount of sweetness, probably from vanilla and cardamomo. Ideal for semi-formal outings on fresh late afternoons and nights, not too cold. On a hot day, it could be overpowering if you go heavy-handed, which we like to do.

A fragrance gem! My girlfriend gifted it to me for my birthday, and what a pleasant surprise. At first, I have to admit, the opening note is super strong and invasive due to the patchouli and lavender. But as it evolves, it gives off a green, herbal sensation, leaving a vanilla touch on the dry down that makes it sweet. The first time I smelled it, I thought it was super vintage, the scent of men from back in the day, those tough, masculine gentlemen. It’s extremely masculine and definitely not for everyone. It breaks the mold of mass-produced scents these days. If you’re looking for compliments, this isn’t for you. It’s for enjoying on an autumn night or a formal occasion where you have the presence to wear it (fits formal or smart casual codes). It’s an extension of your personality and definitely clicked with me. Very masculine.

Very similar to the classic Mr. N, but overloaded with patchouli and vetiver, making it darker and heavier. It opens citrusy, then shifts to herbal and wet earth notes. Average sillage and longevity. Not very versatile, but people constantly ask what I’m wearing and praise it. Personally, I don’t feel like using it myself.

A classic, bold, and potent fragrance. Not for ‘old men.’ Reminds me a bit of the elegance and daring of Polo Green. It has the potential to be a signature scent, though maybe not ideal for summer. It’s quite strong at first, with a heavy, classic barbershop soap accord. My wife said it ‘smells like a man.’ It’s a unique aroma, easy to wear, but not for everyone, and I don’t expect many compliments. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 10/10, Projection: 10/10. I experimented by mixing it 50/50 with Humor Beige (the pure version felt too feminine); the result was great—the pineapple sweetness added up, making it quite pleasant, formal yet with a seductive-playful twist perfect for night dates.

I experimented by mixing it equally with Humor Bezoar (the original seemed too feminine); it turned out great, adding a pineapple sweetness that made it quite pleasant, formal yet with a seductive-playful twist perfect for night dates.

True, it’s sweeter than the classic without losing its resemblance. It has a faint minty gum or rosemary scent, also reminiscent of soap or candle wax, as if it has aldehydes… that galbanum gives it a sour touch that, like the classic version, makes it sweet-and-sour and animalic in a urinary, sweaty, yet sexy way, very masculine. At 31, I love it; I see it with black clothes and lots of muscle, and freshly cut hair. This fragrance is an incredible ode and tribute to barbering, an excellent male ritual par excellence 💪🏻😏.

True, it’s sweeter than the classic but still retains that resemblance. It has a faint menthol gum or wormwood note, also reminiscent of soap or candle wax, as if it has aldehydes… that galbanum gives it a sour touch that, like the classic version, makes it bittersweet and animalic in a urinary and sweaty but sexy way, very masculine. At 31, I love it; I picture it with black clothes and lots of muscle, just after a fresh haircut. This fragrance makes an incredible ode and homage to barbershops, an excellent male ritual par excellence 💪🏻😏

I own it in my collection but stopped using it because it gives me headaches, something that didn’t happen the first few times. It’s strange because when I bought it, the seller didn’t have testers, so I couldn’t try it on my skin to check its longevity and sillage… I definitely don’t recommend it; it smells too much like lemon.

Soft citrus, earthy, elegant, sweet, and great longevity for the price. It’s a gem.
