Descripción
Segno Success by Avon is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2020, this composition was created by Harry Fremont and Frank Voelkl. The top notes unfold with pink pepper, Guatemalan cardamom, and mandarin; the heart reveals Italian cypress, Haitian vetiver, and Indonesian patchouli leaves; while the base notes settle on sandalwood, amber, and leather.

It’s the perfect perfume for cloudy, rainy winter days. Although it’s a men’s fragrance, I adore it. It leaves a huge trail and lasts for days on clothes. Despite being from the Avon catalog (I’ve tried many), it smells like high-end, nothing cheap. Sesgno Succes smells masculine, warm, and even sexy.
It reminds me of Givenchy’s Only Gentleman but without that incense touch. I love it: it’s fresh, fruity with tangerine, and has a spectacular effervescence, perhaps due to the pink pepper. It feels damp, maybe thanks to the vetiver. The blend of notes works great and creates an uncommon synergy. Ideal if you’re looking for something exclusive; you’ll rarely find someone else wearing it. Great quality, the high-end range from Avon.
I agree with the previous reviews about the scent, but not about the longevity and projection; maybe they use USA or Poland batches. It’s not a disaster, but for me EDTs last more than 6 hours while this one reaches only 4 hours with an intimate sillage from the start. It’s a shame because it smells good: masculine, sexy, with a sweet and woody touch, and it feels much more expensive than it is. It’s very versatile. If they released an EDP or Intense version that lasted longer, it would be in my top 10. It’s a ‘like’ for the price and ingredients, ideal if you don’t mind reapplying every 4-5 hours. If you can find batches with better projection, it will be a winner. Au revoir.
I agree with the previous reviews about the scent, but not about the longevity and projection. Perhaps they use USA batches while Europeans get Poland ones. It’s not a disaster, but while my EDTs last 6+ hours, this one reaches only 4 hours with an intimate sillage from minute one. It’s a shame because it smells good: masculine, sexy, with a sweet and woody touch. Without the initial alcohol blast, it feels much more expensive than it is and is very versatile. If they released an Eau de Parfum or Intense version, it would be one of my top 10 without a doubt. That’s why it’s a ‘like’ and not a ‘love’. If you reapply every 4-5 hours or are looking for a masculine, sexy scent at this price with quality ingredients, it’s a safe bet. If you can find those batches that last longer, don’t hesitate, you’ll have a winner. Au revoir!
It’s like a hybrid between Spirit and Secret Temptation by Antonio Banderas. I bought it by mistake instead of the regular Segno, but I gave it a chance. I agree with others that the opening and middle notes remind me of AB Spirit, but then it leans toward Secret Temptation. It’s warm and spicy with lots of pink pepper and patchouli in the heart, very similar to Banderas’s. Those who like spicy scents will enjoy it, though I felt it lacked intensity. It’s a high-end EDP that doesn’t really surprise, with modest longevity and projection; the AB Spirit EDT is better quality. I bought it on sale so it wasn’t a big deal. Scent: 5, Quality: 6, Longevity: 4, Projection: 3, Versatility: 5.
It feels boozy with woody notes, a touch of sweetness and spice from the pepper… I was really surprised by the quality, so I’ll be buying it again when I run out.
Really nice scent, a bit synthetic but not unpleasant. It reminds me a lot of Antonio Banderas’ ‘The Secret Temptation,’ though this one has a cypress note that the other lacks, making it sweeter and more vanilla-like. The longevity is acceptable for the price; it’s a non-intrusive fragrance, perfect and versatile for the office.
It’s a very rich smell, slightly synthetic but not unpleasant. It reminds me a lot of ‘The Secret Temptation’ by Antonio Banderas, though here the cypress stands out while the other is sweeter and more vanilla-like. The longevity is acceptable for the price, it doesn’t overpower, and it’s versatile—perfect for the office.
Avon’s Red Segno smells great and isn’t as alcoholic as the regular version. It’s sweeter and more elegant, with a red pepper note between cypress and sandalwood that gives it a more aromatic and refined profile.
The Avon Red Segno smells rich and is less alcoholic than the regular version; it feels sweeter and more elegant thanks to the red pepper blending with cypress and sandalwood, achieving an aromatic and sophisticated scent.
