Descripción
Escada Sentiment for Homme by Escada is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2002, this composition was created by Dominique Ropion and Laurent Bruyere. The top notes reveal juniper berries and lime, a vibrant green lemon; the heart unfolds pink pepper and nutmeg; while the base notes settle on sandalwood, cedar, and vetiver.

At first, it smells of nutmeg and juniper, which is strange because the citrus notes become more noticeable afterward, along with a touch of pink pepper. In the mid-stage, it keeps those spices, and in the dry-down, it leaves a classic base with cedar, sandalwood, and vetiver, though very faint. Lime and juniper provide freshness, but the spices make it more of a winter scent; I see it as suitable for any weather. The dry-down is boring, not bad but generic. It’s not meant to turn heads. It lasts about 7 hours with weak projection in the middle. It’s youthful, and if you like nutmeg and pink pepper, you’ll love it. Plus, Escada isn’t expensive, so it’s a good option by price, even if it’s not the best value.
A real shame they discontinued it 🙁
This perfume is a true work of art, highly recommended.
This perfume is an absolute work of art, highly recommended.
Escada Sentiment is the brand’s last serious move, stepping away from that previous commercial, youthful style. It’s one of those discontinued scents I wanted to own to see if it lives up to the hype. There are few reviews, but the first spray reminded me a lot of Polo Explorer for that coriander seed sweetness (even though it doesn’t have it) and The Essence Porsche Design for the juniper berries, though lighter. It delivers on Prieht’s promises. Well-assembled and worthy of the love it has; versatile, works for all four seasons, and functions day or night. Not a work of art, but a fragrance that will hardly offend anyone and can earn you compliments. Pity the brand changed direction, but I owe Escada a great creation, just like Escada Pour Homme. Is it worth it? Yes, as a collection piece. Unjustifiable to pay $100 for 100ml, but at $35 it’s a must-have. Without a doubt, it justifies its fans’ love.
Escada Sentiment is the brand’s most serious venture, moving away from its previous commercial and youthful focus. It’s a discontinued fragrance I always wanted to own to see if it truly deserves its reputation; surprisingly, there are few reviews. The first spray opens beautifully, reminding me a lot of Polo Explorer due to that typical RL coriander seed sweetness, though this one lacks it; the similarity is still strong. It also smells like The Essence by Porsche Design with those juniper berries, but lighter. What Prieht said is exactly spot on. It’s very well put together, and you can tell the care that went into it; it’s versatile, works all year round, day and night. It’s not a masterpiece, but its greatest virtue is that it’s hard to dislike and will surely earn compliments. It’s a shame the brand abandoned its classic side, perhaps to avoid bankruptcy, but I owe Escada pour Homme a solid and lasting creation. Is it worth it? For collectors, yes. Paying $100 for 100ml is unjustifiable, but I got it for $35, and that price-to-quality ratio is a must-have. Without a doubt, it justifies the love of its faithful fans.
A simple perfume that delivers when you just want to smell good without the fuss. At first, it smells citrusy and stays that way for a bit, then settles into a woody base with a hint of pink pepper and some sweetness. Once dried down, it feels a bit generic, but I still think it outperforms many current designer scents. It smells consistent throughout, with only the citrus notes fading. It lasts about 5 decent hours before becoming skin-scent only, with average projection. It works great in any weather, especially heat due to the citrus. Totally masculine, and I like it. Not a masterpiece, but hard to dislike, and those initial citrus notes are a hit.
Escada Sentiment Pour Homme is a woody, aromatic, and spiced fragrance. It starts fruity and herbal, but soon the spices take over, especially pepper and nutmeg. Then sandalwood rises, keeping the citrus touch alive. It reminds me of early 2000s perfumes like Miracle Homme or Boss Orange, thanks to that balance between fruit, wood, and spices. It’s versatile, suitable for any age and season, smells great, and isn’t expensive. The only flaw is that it doesn’t last long and barely projects, sticking to the skin for a max of 6 hours.
A subtle, fruity, and spicy proposition that never misses, even if the house’s Magnetism left a deeper impression on me. It opens with a sweet-tart apple before yielding to woods; it’s pleasant but fades in just 3 hours, which is very fast. Ideal for daily wear and shopping if you can snag it cheap, but it’s not worth more than €40 when there are more convincing options around €50. Magnetism remains superior; it just needs a price drop.
