When is it coming out? It’s still not in stores.
When will this fragrance be available? I want it now, but it’s not for sale yet.
Hi. This perfume is just hitting the shelves, so don’t worry. First off, I don’t know much about oud; I’ve smelled few perfumes with this note, and my only reference is Jo Malone. When I went to the store, I expected something similar, but it wasn’t the case. The quality is very different. I didn’t love the Jo Malone one, but it’s nice, sweet, and not cloying. The Yves one feels synthetic; if luxury brands do it, that’s not a criticism. It has a medicinal facet, which isn’t bad, but here it’s very pronounced and can fatigue the nose quickly. Two sprays lasted over six hours on my arm, though very faint by the end. The sillage is strong at first but fades in about two hours. I was disappointed by that for an EDP. I don’t want to take away its merit because it brings oud to those who can’t easily buy others, not just due to money but location, especially in Latin America. On the positive side, it will draw attention, for better or worse. If you’re looking for that, it might work. I’d give it another chance and the body cream; sometimes hydrating lotions smell different and get closer to what I’m looking for.
I’ve had a favorite discontinued for years: Flower Kenzo Oriental, with its smoky bottle, calligraphic poppy, and that incense scent that drives me crazy with its powdery, deep, and volatile note. I looked for this ‘Rose Oud’ by Yves Rocher, a brand that has never let me down, even though it’s cheap. I couldn’t find it in-store, so I ordered it via catalog: it smells good, a bit sweet and sour, powdery, warm like a hug, and soft. Honestly, I don’t think it has real ‘Oud’ incense (which would cost a fortune), but it’s a pleasant surprise at a low price. Soft sillage, medium longevity. Recommended for all ages.
My favorite fragrance has been discontinued for years: Flower Kenzo Oriental, with its smoky bottle, calligraphic poppy, and that incense scent I’m obsessed with and miss. That’s why I looked for this Rose Oud by Yves Rocher, a brand that, though budget-friendly, has never let me down. I couldn’t find it in-store, so I ordered it via catalog: it’s a pleasant aroma, slightly sweet and sour, powdery, warm like a caress, and soft. Honestly, I don’t think it has that natural Oud note (which would be very expensive), but it’s a pleasant aromatic surprise at a low price. Soft sillage, medium longevity. Recommended for any age.
It’s a mature rose, not for everyone, very spicy; at first, it smells like dehydrated Turkish figs. I love it because it lasts long on the skin and is warm, ideal for winter days. Good job by Yves Rocher for releasing a new rose perfume after pulling the Rose Absolute, though it can’t be compared to it. Anyway, Rose Oud is one of my favorites for its mysterious and oriental essence, nothing like typical rose perfumes.
