  A very high-quality Kilian perfume, with oud almost as the sole star. It’s a bit monotonous but rich in nuances, with exceptional intensity and depth. It opens with a sweet, resinous oud, with a barely noticeable toasted touch, immersing you in a warm, exotic sensation that lasts until the end in a linear way. It’s not very imaginative, focused solely on the oud, and while it’s of the highest possible quality, it can get boring if worn frequently. Its longevity is brutal: lasts all day with an intermediate shower and moderate-to-high sillage.

  Received samples a few days ago. Upon testing, it smells like dry, moldy leather, like opening the coat closet at my grandparents’ house in the countryside. That scent of an old home and older people is what I like. It’s a difficult, tiring scent that requires real taste to buy the 50ml bottle. It feels way too adult, for folks in their 50s or 60s on their best day; I can’t imagine anyone young smelling like this. It doesn’t evolve much on my skin, moderate performance. We’ll see if it changes after wearing it several times.

  Ugh, the first one I find disgusting. Smells like smoked, old leather. I wouldn’t recommend it to my own grandparents; it would just make them smell older.
