Descripción

Prodigieux Le Parfum by Nuxe is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2012, this composition was created by Serge Majoullier. The top notes reveal a citrus effervescence with orange blossom, mandarin, orange, and bergamot; the heart unfolds with gardenia, magnolia, and rose; while the base notes land on a warm and exotic foundation of coconut milk, vanilla, and pebbles.

  • Smells identical to the brand’s oil: exquisite, long-lasting, and with no changes in the notes. It’s the perfume version, perfect for summer nights.

It’s the same scent as the brand’s oil. Exquisite, long-lasting, and not a single note changed; it’s the perfume version. Ideal for summer nights.

  • I loved it so much when I tried it on the blotter, but my skin tends to ruin and develop citrus notes a lot, so it didn’t sit well on me. On the blotter, I perceived a soft, velvety coconut and an original, uncommon note; now I know they are the pebbles. What a pity if I can’t self-regulate it.

  • Summer sensuality without mystery. Smells like coconut, tiare, and vanilla sunscreen, with a touch of orange blossom and rose. It’s more refined and inspiring than the typical sunscreen smell, but it’s still the same fragrance as the brand’s wonderful dry oil, which I prefer in warm months for being multifunctional. With the oil, you’re wrapped in an olfactory aura that doesn’t allow another perfume, which limits its use to the right setting. Although it has summer and typical vibes, it has a more refined and glamorous factor than the rest, as it softens sweet notes with citrus, orange blossom that blurs the beach context a bit, and a touch of salt or sand that absorbs excess sugar, matting and astringing what would otherwise be too voluptuous, greasy, and cloying. USE: Suitable for smelling like summer in moments without a reason to show skin, like cold months, since in summer I prefer the oil to satin my skin, repair it from the sun, or get wrapped in its perfume for informal nights.

  • Summer sensuality without mystery: smells like coconut sunscreen, tiare, and vanilla with a touch of floral orange blossom and rose. It’s more refined than the typical sunscreen scent, but it’s still the same fragrance I prefer in the heat for being multifunctional. With the oil, you’re wrapped in an aura that leaves no room for other perfumes, limiting its use to the right moment. Although it has typical beach notes, here they’re softened with citrus and a hint of salt that absorbs excess sweetness, preventing it from being too greasy. Use it in cold months to smell like summer without exposing your skin, because in the heat I still prefer the oil to repair and satinize.

  • A lovely blend of vanilla, rose, and lots of coconut. Although it’s a summer scent, on very hot days it can feel heavy; I think it’s better for those cool summer nights typical of coastal cities.

  • Lovely combination of vanilla, rose, coconut, and more coconut. It’s a summer scent, but on very hot days it can feel heavy; perhaps it’s better for those cool summer nights typical of coastal cities.

I’d love to buy a beachy, tropical oil perfume with white flowers like tiare or pikake. I have sublime memories of the pikake from an oil I bought in Hawaii: powerful and sublime. I was heartbroken when it ran out. I also had a tiare oil in Spain years ago, no famous brand, with coconut. So when I saw this Nuxe Prodigieux at the pharmacy, I tried it and… what a disappointment! I don’t get these scents. It smells synthetic, like an ode to petrochemicals and paraffin. For those who like it, go ahead, but it sets off my alarms. It’s a very strong, sour scent; the white flowers last half an hour and then fade, but the solvent and polish smell is more intense and persistent. Vanilla? Yes, the typical synthetic kind. Coconut? Not the kind you eat or the fresh kind. Rose? Smells more like asphalt or heated pebbles. Maybe I overdid it (4 sprays because with 2 you’re almost always short, although this one has projection). In short, it’s interesting but totally disqualified for me. I’ve tried other Nuxe beachy products and they’re softer but with the same synthetic-sweet vibe. I don’t find them pleasant. I’ll have to look for my dream tropical scent elsewhere.

I wanted to buy a beach oil perfume, tropical with white flowers, tiare, or pikake. I have good memories of a pikake oil from Hawaii: sublime and incredibly potent. Too bad when I ran out. I also had a tiare oil in Spain without a famous brand that carried coconut. Seeing this Nuxe Prodigieux at the pharmacy, I tried it and what a disappointment! I don’t understand these scents. It smells synthetic, like an ode to petrochemicals and paraffin. It sets off my alarms. I wanted to find my beach oil, but it didn’t work. It’s a sharp, strong scent; my partner frowned. It’s aggressive and invasive, suitable for territorial uses. The white flowers last half an hour and fade, but the turpentine-like smell lasts longer. Vanilla? Yes, the typical synthetic kind. Coconut? Not the kind you eat in ice cream. Rose? I smell turpentine; maybe it’s the pebbles, but it smells more like asphalt. Perhaps pebbles reheated by the sun, I want to imagine that. I sprayed four times because with two you almost always fall short, although it does have sillage. In summary: interesting but disqualified for me. I also tried Nuxe Sun Eau Delicieuse Parfumante and Nuxe Body Relaxing Fragrance Water; they are softer but have the same beach-tanning-synthetic-sweet-petrochemical vibe. I don’t find them pleasant. I’ll have to look for my dream tropical scent elsewhere.

  • I bought it because of my love for Nuxe products, especially their oil. Along with Insolence and Eden, it’s the most long-lasting perfume I’ve tried. I sprayed it three times at 8 AM and at 6 PM it still smelled intense; even after showering, I could catch glimpses of the scent. If you like these notes, I recommend it 100%.

  • This fragrance surprised me in several ways, some good, others not. It didn’t match what I expected when I bought it blind. I remembered liking the oil, but not its exact scent since last summer. I imagined it to be summery, simple, monoi-style, with tiare, coconut, and vanilla: something daytime, sweet but refreshing. And nothing could be further from the truth! It’s a bomb of white flowers (gardenia and orange blossom) and rose with a coconut base. It’s much more mature and enveloping than I imagined, a white floral dressed up for summer nights due to its extreme potency. The opening and first hours have brutal projection; it gave me a headache a couple of times, so I’ll have to moderate. After four hours, the coconut stands out, vanilla appears, and the floral side softens. The dry-down is much more pleasant and closer to what I was looking for. The longevity is spectacular; I can still detect it on my skin the next day. Although I like it, it’s different from what I expected. I’ll use it on spring/summer nights, being careful with application. I hope the heat opens it up more as suggested on Fragrantica. Given its floral and sweet character, I think it also works for winter. If it doesn’t give me a headache, it will stay in my collection, though I wouldn’t buy it again. Edit: 4 moderate sprays (wrists and neck) and voilá, we’ve made up. I reaffirm its fantastic longevity and sillage; once learned to dose it, I like its scent even more than at first, even from the opening. It evokes elegance for summer nights. Scent 7/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 8/10, Value 6/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 6/10. Would I buy again? Yes.

I adore many Nuxe products, like their Very Rose makeup remover or the Reve de miel shower gel, which I always restock. However, their oils have always seemed too expensive for what they are, even though I love the scent. Today I tried this perfume and was pleasantly surprised: I didn’t expect such longevity or projection. It smells just like the oil: summery, warm, and perfect for the heat (I’d use it more during the day). It has such a French vibe that it’s hard to explain; living near France, I think this eau de parfum fits the spirit of French women, just as I associate Álvarez Gómez cologne with Spain. I hope that makes sense. In short, I liked it a lot and maybe I’ll replace my Cabotine with this Prodigieux.

I love many Nuxe products, like their Very Rose makeup remover and Reve de miel shower gel. Popular oils have always been a bit of a wash for me: too expensive for what they are, even if I love the scent. Today I tried this fragrance and was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t expect such longevity or projection. It smells like the oil: a warm, summery aroma, perfect for the heat (I’d wear it more during the day than at night) and more French than a croissant. I live near France and have visited many times; it seems this eau de parfum fits the French spirit, as if they’d choose it for daily wear. In short: I really liked it, maybe I’ll swap my Cabotine for Prodigieux.

I’m not sure which came first, but it smells exactly like Estée Lauder’s Pleasures Intense. Total beach vibe. I like it, and it works great on my skin for summer nights. It projects a lot and is intense; you have to be careful with the amount because it can get cloying. The coconut and vanilla sweetness makes it gourmand, which can overwhelm some people, but the gardenia is the absolute star. I’ve discovered that gardenia-based perfumes last forever on my skin. I totally recommend it for summer.

  • anapolitana26

It’s my go-to scent for summer nights for years now. After a long day at the beach, when I get home, shower, and get ready, I spray this cologne to go out for dinner or a walk. Nothing makes me happier. I also use it in spring. It has great longevity and sillage; more than once people have told me I smell amazing.

My summer scent for years. After a day at the beach, I shower, get ready, and put this on to go out for dinner or a stroll: pure happiness. I also wear it in spring. It has great longevity and sillage; more than once people have told me, ‘you smell so good’.

  • I bought it blind and it wasn’t what I expected. I was missing more coconut, but on my skin only the gardenia stands out. It smells almost exactly like Air de Séville’s Gardenias. I guess it varies on every skin.

  • I bought it blind and today I panicked when I tried it. I was looking for a summer perfume like coconut or tiaré, but the opening smells like mosquito repellent (though said another way, nothing more summery). Once it dries, that sharp scent disappears and I notice the flowers, especially rose and gardenia. A while later, the vanilla comes out with that warm night-of-summer vibe. I just have to get used to its evolution, but overall I like it. Wish I could detect some coconut, as I don’t find any.

  • I bought it blindly and was very disappointed. I love the summer scent it gives off (just like the dry oil), but on my skin it lasts nothing: zero longevity and no projection. I bought it online at a good price and maybe I was a bit naive; I’d seen very good reviews, but for me it’s a NO. I’ve left it to use right after showering and staying at home.

  • I bought it blind and was disappointed. I love the summer scent (just like the oil), but on my skin it lasts nothing, zero longevity, and no projection. I picked it up from an online pharmacy at a good price, and maybe it was a bit off since I’d seen good reviews. For me, it’s a NO. I’ll keep it just for use at home after a shower.

I’ve had this for a long time. I bought it because this house’s oils never fail in the heat, and the scent always feels summery and glamorous to me. The perfume multiplies the oil’s intensity; it’s very potent. It starts with a floral bomb that on my skin turns sweet and powdery, perfect for summer nights. It can be a bit much in extreme heat, but I think it works great with my chemistry, as I always get tons of compliments. Longevity and sillage are decent, the bottle is minimalist gold, and the price is very affordable for this level of elegance.

  • I owned it before and liked it, just like the oil, but on me it lasts nothing and projects less: I prefer the ‘stronger’ ones. It’s not worth it… What a pity.

  • MissOlores

What a wonder and how elegant! I love Nuxe products. It smells like a cream, but a luxurious one. It’s an absolute delight. I didn’t wear it for summer because I suffer from migraines, and if you’re sensitive like me, it can be overwhelming. It reminds me of Arden’s Red Door but more refined. On my skin, it lasts about 45 delicious minutes. I hate monoi and vanilla, but this doesn’t smell like either. I paid €16 for 30ml, and it seems like a steal.

  • Magdalena Maria

Simple and crystal clear, with white flowers and monoi, it smells like an eau de cologne and that comfortable shirt you’d wear to the grocery store. It has no complications; it’s a drugstore perfume that fades in a breath but refreshes the skin. It has those affordable molecules that make it familiar, like Hedione or neroli. Up close, it smells like scented paper and a warm fruity touch, like a balm lip balm. Perfect for quick errands.

  • It smells like summer, sunshine, and days outdoors, just like the oil and sunscreen.

  • Soyyoymiperfume

It doesn’t smell like the beach; it’s something super refined and velvety, just like the brand’s oil. It’s delicate and tasteful. The sweetness isn’t heavy, and the magnolia lingers throughout. The longevity is intimate—about 5 hours on skin with 4 sprays, but it lasts over 8 hours on clothes. I absolutely love it.
