Descripción

Montblanc Présence d'une Femme is an oriental vanilla fragrance for women. Launched in 2002 and created by perfumer Michel Almairac, this composition features a vibrant top note blend of pepper and mandarin. The floral heart unfolds the delicacy of orchid and cyclamen, also known as Persian violet, while the base offers a warm, enveloping foundation of Brazilian rosewood, cedar, sandalwood, patchouli, and vanilla flower.

  • I like it so much; it smells clean, the orchid and violet give it a very feminine touch, and it lasts a long time on skin and clothes too, even smelling until the next day. I wear it during the day and people always comment on it.

  • I adore it, but I can’t find it in stores anymore and I’m too lazy to order online; it smells clean. It makes me feel comfortable and touched my heart. Edit: I got it again, but my skin has changed, and it doesn’t smell the same anymore. Now I only notice a floral touch, and the damn pepper makes it murky, what a shame.

  • I only use it for slightly special days. I prefer Individuelle, but Pressence is also quite nice.

  • I met this fragrance a few years ago and truly loved it… it seems incredibly elegant, ideal for a powerful executive.

  • I first met this years ago and truly loved it… it feels incredibly elegant, perfect for a powerful executive.

  • Beautiful and delicate, fresh and floral, very feminine and sensual. It reminds me of my aunt, so sophisticated and strong-willed. I adore the sweet and spicy opening with vanilla and pepper, warmed by sandalwood. Then, as minutes pass, it stays sweet but reveals the beauty of violet or cyclamen and orchid. It’s a gem from the moment you wear it throughout its entire evolution.

  • Looking to replace Gucci Rush 2, I landed on this. From the same creator, but different from what I wanted. It’s serious, without reaching formal or elegant. The advertising does justice to the scent. No pretensions, but the smell is extremely attractive.

The combination of Almairac always seemed interesting to me… the pepper accentuates the woods and bridges with the flowers, highlighting a dry orchid. Rosewood gives it distinction. Almost without sweetness, where wood and pepper stand out, it results in a warm and feminine scent. Someone asked for a woody fragrance for women; maybe this is an option, although not strictly woody. Pity it’s almost impossible to find anymore. Personally, it didn’t captivate me upon trying, but I suspect in the right woman it has a special charm that distinguishes it. It inspired the image of a woman with a deep gaze, reading and writing letters, with a box of nostalgic memories to recharge her. Medium projection and fixation around 6 hours.

  • The combination Almairac gave to this fragrance always seemed interesting to me… the pepper accentuates the woods and at the same time serves as a bridge to the flowers, among which a dried orchid stands out. The rosewood note, in my opinion, is what gives it distinction. Almost without sweetness and being a fragrance where wood and pepper stand out, it is curiously warm and feminine. Someone asked recently in the forum for a ‘woody fragrance for women’; perhaps this could be an option to try… even though it’s not strictly ‘woody’. It’s a pity it’s practically impossible to find anymore. Personally, it didn’t really captivate me when I tried it; but I suspect that in the right woman, it can have a special charm that sets it apart from the crowd. I used to imagine the image of a woman with deep eyes and thoughts, who enjoys reading and writing letters, and has a small box in her room (where she sleeps or works) with some nostalgic memories that inspire her and recharge her energy. Its projection is moderate and its longevity around 6 hours.

  • Finally, it arrived, as I was eager to try it. It was a hopeful blind buy hoping to find an elegant feminine fragrance based on reviews and the beautiful bottle. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations at first; it reminded me of and behaved like Dalí’s Laguna, sharing some notes, somewhat unisex, citrus-floral at the start and woody as it settles. Personally, the sillage and longevity were low. Edit: After a week of use, I’m starting to like it more and more… and I even got my first compliment… Re-edit: I’m on my third bottle… It conquered me… I can’t be without it.

  • Finally arrived, I wanted to try it. Bought it blind, very hopeful based on reviews and the bottle, but it didn’t deliver. Reminded me of Laguna by Dalí, common notes, citrus-floral at the start and woody as it settles. Trail and longevity are low. Edit: after a week, I started liking it more and got my first compliment. Re-edit: going for the third bottle, it conquered me, I can’t be without it.

I love the scent. By the way, although it’s for women, it works perfectly as unisex, something less common in men’s fragrances (like Rochas Man or Desire for a Man). As a man, I’d wear it without issues. I think it’s fresh and versatile, fits anywhere. I wouldn’t mind if the trail was better. • For day and night. A sober perfume, no fuss. Intimate. You follow the entire trail and that’s what I like, it accompanies me as if I were wearing a ring. I like having it in my collection, like classic clothing pieces.

  • Blind buy: based on the notes, I expected to like it, and I did, but dry down has something that doesn’t fully convince me. It’s strong and a bit invasive, so apply sparingly, especially in enclosed spaces. Over time, I love the base, soft and delicious, I can smell the vanilla. Ideal for autumn-winter or cool days. I feel it’s elegant, not for daily use.

I loved it so much in 2003 that I wore it day and night. I bought it again two years ago, and it still fills my senses and memories. Woody, strong, and elegant aroma, lasts all day.

I loved this perfume so much in 2003 that I wore it day and night, practically every day. So much so that I bought it again two years ago, and it still fills my senses and memories. Woody aroma, strong, and elegantly long-lasting.

  • Bought it for a special scent, but on me it’s common. It fades quickly. I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • Honestly, it’s weak. The opening is vague and lacks quality. A base with some grace appears later but is muddied by chemical notes that smell like beauty products, nothing natural. Performance is average. It vaguely reminds me of Black Orchid due to the orchid, vanilla, and patchouli. It’s cheap, good for a young girl or for daily wear if you don’t have anything better, but if you have better perfumes, this one doesn’t cut it.

  • Very feminine and discreet, smells amazing. It’s elegant and classy. Lasts until the next day without being overpowering.

  • Lepistic

Very feminine and understated, smells amazing. It’s an elegant perfume with great presence. It lasts on you until the next day without being too loud.

  • weraevaelena

I found it very masculine, too woody for my taste. I imagine it on a sensual woman with a strong character and a smoking habit… those types who wear intense fragrances whose scent blends with the smell of tobacco.

  • CYNTHIA1980

I like it and I don’t; it’s funny what I say, but at times I feel it’s masculine and sometimes I enjoy smelling it constantly. What is interesting is that it’s half mysterious and elegant, perfect when you want to feel strong, mature, and enigmatic.

  • Very synthetic smell, powdery. It’s very masculine due to the pepper and patchouli vibe; with a bit more pepper, it would be 1 Million by Paco Rabanne. When it dries down, it becomes elegant with a pinkish tone. It gave me a headache. The bottle is unmissable, a work of modern design art, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

This perfume has it all: it’s unique and I’m fascinated by it, my husband loves it too. It’s super feminine and every time I wear it, I feel empowered. I only use it for special occasions; it’s highly sexy. However, since the reviews have been confusing, I’d recommend testing it first. I have a very particular taste and I admit not everything I try is to my liking, but this one blows my mind.

  • At first, it smells bad: that exaggerated pepper mixed with something plastic that reminds me of an object in my life, maybe nail polish remover, lotion, or nail polish… or The Body Shop’s shea butter cream! Honestly, it took me a while to finish it. But the dry down… pure femininity. Although that little scent lingers in the background, the trail is rich, creamy, and makeup-like. I like it. That said, short projection and medium longevity, though appropriate for the price.

  • It’s a cologne that could pass for a perfume given how long it lingers on the skin. I feel fresh yet punchy at the same time; it’s powerful and different, which is why I like it. It’s not for everyday wear because it gets tiring, but I love using it now and then. In fact, I’ve been searching for it for twenty years…

  • NAT DENIZ

I bought it blind based on reviews and the bottle caught my eye. In my opinion, it’s unisex: it smells like the offspring of Grand Soir and Mon Guerlain, and maybe inherited something from CK Obsession. It doesn’t smell bad, I like the unisex side, but you have to catch it at the right moment. The dry down resembles Grand Soir (wood with vanilla) and Mon Guerlain, minus the lavender. I’ll use it more to find its spot; it’s not a bad perfume, the patchouli is noticeable, and I think it will be a great fit for my dad, who adores Obsession.

  • I loved it: it’s long-lasting, delicious, and a very unique woody-citrus blend. I bought it blind and now it’s one of my favorites. It smells elegant and the price is a hit. It’s powerful and persistent, ideal for fall and winter.

  • Mademoiselle

The moment I tested it on my wrist, I was hooked: I thought it was the perfect spring-summer scent. It’s woody with a citrus touch, a delight. But then, total disappointment: that smell becomes insignificant. Even when I apply it generously, I can barely smell it myself; my daughter and boyfriend had to press their noses to it to detect it, saying it’s too soft. Scent: 10/10, longevity: zero.

  • It’s a gem! I bought it blind and it completely won me over. It gives off a super sexy and bold vibe, but the only downside is that it fades in a flash.
