What a damn wonderful perfume. My favorite of the 3 new launches from BDK. It’s simply perfect. Very much in line with other great perfumes like Oud Maracujá, although from my current point of view (and I can’t believe I’m writing this) it improves on it. An opening that is already a firework exploding in your face: Bergamot, a pineapple sorbet, and saffron. A cold sensation (not fresh) but very elegant. Then comes a velvety rose, and an Oud protagonist (of course) with a cocoa that, for me, is the magic of this perfume. A cocoa powder not sweet at all, rather bitter and dark. An absolute wonder. This one is really worth it. Plus, it’s a bomb in development. Scent: 10/10, longevity: 9/10, sillage: 9/10.
