  It’s powerful and long-lasting. Be careful with the amount; if you overdo it, it becomes an overwhelming olfactory mess because the scent isn’t pleasant. The violet is like Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene, but drier and less mossy. It’s linear; the opening smells like solvent, nail polish, or paint—a weird note that makes you scrunch your nose, as if they painted the walls of a florist shop. It reminds me of Narciso Rodríguez’s musky-violet DNA. Well, I gave up. I bought 100 ml from a friend at a good price; he didn’t like it, and now I’m stuck with the look on my face of ‘What am I supposed to do with this?’

  If you’re dying for a powdery perfume with a spicy twist, this is it. Absolutely exquisite. You can smell the dried violets, as if mixed with old papyrus leaves. The iris comes through too, giving it a delicate, powdery vibe. It’s a masterpiece. I never get tired of wearing it. I love it.

  If you like powdery perfumes with spicy notes, this is the one for you. A true gem. You can smell the dried violets mixed with ancient papyrus leaves. The iris makes it delicate and powdery. It’s a masterpiece; I never get tired of wearing it.

  It’s a totally linear perfume; it doesn’t change a bit. It’s woody, with iris and violet dominating. The sillage is almost non-existent, though six sprays last 24 hours. It smells like cork to me, reminding me of lilac butterfly wings. It shares a texture with Narciso Rodríguez. It’s delicate, I love it. Unisex, feminine, works for any season. What a shame it’s gone. Pleasant: 9/10, Interesting: 6/10, Versatile: 8/10, Original: 8/10.

  Don’t tell me they’ve discontinued it. I can’t stand this. They say people buy fakes that last longer than the originals. What a disaster, what a mess. Why do they do this? It makes me furious.

  I managed to get a 50 ml bottle; it’s delicious. It’s less sweet than CK Eternity Intense; here, the orris takes the lead, there’s little sandalwood but it’s creamy. What a pity they discontinued it; it will be my treasure.

  Please bring it back to market! It’s a masterpiece I’m dying for. How could they discontinue something like this? It’s pure art.
