An exquisite find! A seductive vanilla dancing with almond and chocolate, with a floral/fruity wink. It’s gourmand, floral, and creamy all at once. So subtle and refined that it leaves you breathless. Extremely delicate.
Some perfumes arrive and leave a mark on the heart. This one has become narcotic; I can’t stop smelling it, and every time my nose delights in this scent, I feel a profound happiness. It has dethroned my beloved Hypnotic Poison, and although they are nothing alike, both are my favorite vanilla fragrances. It has a silky, harmonious opening that hits my nose as a fine blend of vanilla, almond, and chocolate, intricately linked, which is pure pleasure. It’s not a fragrance with major shifts, but upon drying, I perceive the most delicate orchid and violet. I don’t detect the rose or cedar. To summarize, it’s so impressive, creamy, and refined… I could spend hours writing praises. A true delight for the senses.
There are perfumes that leave a mark on the heart. This one is narcotic; I can’t stop smelling it, and every time my nose delights, I feel a deep happiness. It has dethroned my beloved Hypnotic Poison; although they don’t resemble each other, both are my favorite vanillas. It has a silky, harmonious dry down: vanilla, almond, and chocolate finely intertwined, a true pleasure. It doesn’t change much, but as it dries, a delicate orchid and violet become noticeable. I don’t detect rose or cedar. It’s impressive, creamy, and refined; I could spend hours writing praises. A delight for the senses.
Orchidee Vanille is an absolute powerhouse in perfumery, with a clear and bold vanilla leaning. The first time I sprayed it, I was nervous because reviews warned of a lethal bomb—and it is, without exception. But I’m reviewing what I experienced on my skin, which changed quite a bit. It starts with a liquor note; that’s the first rule, followed by narcotic vanilla to the max, yet surprisingly light. I can’t explain it, but it kicks you in the pants, yes, with style and distinction. This perfume is brutal. When I detect the orchid, I think of a men’s fragrance; that flower always does that to me. Here, the almond surrounds it and makes it sinful, like crashing onto a pile of artisanal candied bacon and truffles in a candy shop—a truly unique experience. As time passes, I notice faint citrus and a very light floral note that offer a brief respite from so much sweet lust. I’m sure my pupils dilated to the maximum, immersed in such sensuality and sweet vice. The mother of all gourmands, hands down. Among gourmands, this one must be watched closely, like a black mamba.
Big discovery of the year! A decadent, romantic blend that makes me want to wear it every single day. The opening is complex, mixing roses, chocolate, vanilla, and creamy almonds, with a subtle citrus note in the base that provides perfect balance. I love the evolution even more: the velvet, powdery roses and vanilla are the highlight. At one point, it smells like expensive makeup. After several hours, it settles into talc, heavy vanilla, and a touch of wood. I wore this during the holiday posadas, and now I can’t stop thinking about Christmas whenever I smell it. Longevity and sillage are moderate; it’s not loud, but during festive hugs, I noticed people prolonging the embrace to inhale my scent. The boldest ones whispered, ‘You smell so good,’ while the rest enjoyed it in silence.
Touching perfection… sophisticated and refined to the extreme. What else could I say?
Among gourmands, this one has the most decadent vanilla. It carries an immense touch of sophistication, as if you’re wearing it to seduce: sensual, warm, and very sexy. The notes are perfectly harmonized with a chocolatey aura, but it’s the chocolate of freshly made truffles. The almond adds a very contemporary twist. When you wear it, compliments come from everywhere, and the longevity is luxurious. It has a heavy trail that can handle some over-application without becoming overwhelming. High-quality notes at a high price, but its sophistication makes it worth it. To be eaten or to eat, it’s wonderful.
I tried this fragrance and what a delight. Sweet, yet delicate and discreet. Moderate longevity and sillage, but the scent is addictive. I love it. Scent: 10, Longevity: 7, Sillage: 6, Value: 5, Versatility: 8, Overall: 9.5.
Orchidee Vanille is delicate, sweet, and subtle. What strikes me most is the vanilla and mandarin. It’s pastry vanilla, comforting, ideal for these lockdown days. Every time I smell it, I get a warm orange flan, or vanilla tea with almond milk. Or better, the scent of dark vanilla in a creamy ice cream with black specks. It has a soft trail, only for close contact or personal use. Its performance is acceptable, about 6 hours. Ideal for temperate climates, rainy days, or before bed (autumn, spring). I don’t see it as formal, more for daily use or when we need that sweetness to comfort us and curb cravings. Ideal for lovers of delicate and gourmand vanilla, but sophisticated, with class. It’s not just any vanilla; it’s very well made and worth it. For me, it’s feminine.
Orchidee Vanille is delicate, sweet, and subtle. Vanilla and tangerine take the lead. It reminds me of vanilla custard extract—comforting on these days. Every time I smell it, I think of warm orange custard or vanilla tea with almond milk. It also evokes dark vanilla bean in a creamy ice cream. Soft trail, intimate sillage only. Lasts about 6 hours. Ideal for mild climates, rainy days, or bedtime (autumn, spring). Not formal; better for daily wear or when we need that comforting sweetness. For lovers of delicate, gourmand yet sophisticated vanilla with class. Worth trying. It’s feminine.
The most delicious, powdery, and creamy vanilla I’ve ever smelled. A treat for the senses. It stays close to the skin, but I notice it all morning. Will definitely repurchase.

Finally, I have this masterpiece and now I’m like Gollum guarding the box in the closet, far away from everything. I just spray a little on my wrist before bed and I feel like I’m teleporting. I hadn’t even recovered from Shaghaf Oud yet, and this has completely thrown me off. It’s an experience: this vanilla is EXQUISITE, warm, cozy, and sophisticated. It’s perfectly balanced; its trail, though not wide, is perfect for something so delicate. It enchanted me years ago and won’t leave my mind. I hate citrus, but here it’s beautifully blended, giving a spark to a creamy, edible scent (without being vulgar). The mix of almond, chocolate, and flowers is terribly delicious. I’d wear it during the day, but wouldn’t rule out a relaxing night or a date. A great option for vanilla lovers.
Finally got it, and now I’m Gollum guarding it in the closet. I just spritz a little on my wrist before bed and feel like I’m teleporting. After the shock of Shaghaf Oud, this gem threw me for a loop. It’s an experience: exquisite, warm, cozy, and sophisticated vanilla. Nothing missing, nothing too much. The trail is perfect for something so delicate. It enchanted me years ago. I hate citrus, but they blend it well here, giving a spark to a creamy, edible base without being vulgar. The almond-chocolate-flower combo is delicious. I’d wear it by day, but also for a relaxed night or a date. Great option for vanilla lovers.
Top reviews, but the vanilla on my skin reads as citrusy, almond-floral. It didn’t break any rules or surprise me. Projection is zero—scented only for me—and it lasts about 3 hours. Maybe reformulated, but for me, it’s not worth it.
Very intimate. After 2 hours (being generous), it stays 10 cm from the skin and remains like that for 8 hours, dropping to skin level in the last 2 hours. I mainly notice the orchid, vanilla, and musk throughout the entire life of the scent.
After trying several of these soft vanillas, I’ve realized they’re not for me. Maybe my sense of smell isn’t very sharp, and I feel them very subtly. Orchidee Vanille has a citrusy and fresh point at the beginning and a pleasant dry-down of vanilla and orchid (which reminds me of the old Yves Rocher one). I don’t feel it as gourmand. Its sillage is soft and lasts about 3 hours. I only tested it on cold days, perhaps because it was hot outside. In short, I found it at less than half price and will pass. For this Christmas Eve, I’m going to wear another vanilla that truly sparks my excitement, perhaps insultingly potent, sweet, and synthetic, but one that feels more like my style: Sweet Vanilla by Montale. I wish you many perfumed gifts. Happy Christmas Eve. Scent 6/10, Longevity 3/10, Sillage 2/10, Value for money 3/10, Versatility 4/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy it again? No.
Wonderful gourmand vanilla, citrus, and chocolate fragrance. Orchidee Vanille has a very citrusy opening with the tangerine, but soon the dark chocolate, flowers, and a potent vanilla appear. After a few minutes, it softens and leaves a powdery, musky, very warm vanilla. It never loses these notes; they are felt throughout the entire trail. It’s sweet but not cloying and very well balanced. In my opinion, it’s a personal enjoyment perfume. Very delicate, sensual, discreet, and relaxing. SCARCITY OF LONGEVITY AND ZERO SILLAGE on my skin. This is the only reason I don’t buy it. It’s not worth paying so much for such poor performance.
I haven’t tried a vanilla this wonderful in a long time. It’s my favorite without a doubt.
It happens to me the same as others: the scent is delicious, but it doesn’t last more than 15 minutes on my skin. I’ve tried several from this line, and it’s a pity that the same thing happens with all of them; they don’t last absolutely anything. The only one that seems to have better performance is Santal Blanc.
This fragrance is gorgeous. For gourmand lovers, they will definitely like it. It’s a vanilla-scented aroma where chocolate, orange, and flowers also play a role. It’s one of those sweets that isn’t cloying and even non-sweet-tooth people like it. Although at first it might seem like a feminine unisex, as I use it more, I see it’s more unisex. As for longevity, it lasts all day. From when I spray it in the morning until late afternoon/evening. It clings very well to the collar of my shirt, and I like it a lot.
It’s gorgeous, delicious, elegant, and feminine. It’s a vanilla that doesn’t belong to this world: delicate, floral, and chocolatey, with a bit of candied orange. That’s how dreams, good people, and sweetness smell to me: bronzed, beautiful life, and peace. I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t like it. But there’s always a BUT, and in this case, it’s the longevity, sillage, and performance. I’ve changed the location, shaken it, let it rest, and even rubbed myself all over in vaseline and creams, but nothing works. It doesn’t smell, folks, nothing after 30 minutes. It’s frustrating because I spray it 8 or 10 times and by the time I leave the house, there’s nothing left. One day I was literally drenched in it, and my friends asked me why I hadn’t applied any that day.
It’s a gem: one of the best vanillas I’ve ever tried. It comes out with notes of orange, dry, slightly powdery, almond, and chocolatey. I’m fascinated by the smell, but the performance is terrible, what a shame. It doesn’t last more than two hours and projects very little, even though I spray it more than 20 times. It also doesn’t cling well to clothes. It could be perfect, but seriously, the performance is among the worst in my collection.
I’ve had it for two or three years and haven’t used it much, but today at 8:20 AM, I put it on, and it’s 9:00 PM and I can still smell it on my wrists. Over these years, its longevity has improved beastly. I’ve fallen in love with it all over again. The scent is a wonderful vanilla.
At first, it didn’t convince me, but I can imagine it would be a lethal weapon in a woman’s hands. As soon as I spray it, I smell that spicy, almost boozy vanilla note, but it lasts the length of a sigh. Then it fades and blends with that sweet, floral side. The almond is there, though not bitter. It lasts well, but the projection is very contained. In short, I’d love to smell it on a woman.
