With just a few notes, they’ve created something incredibly rich; the opening blends that kumquat, not too citrusy but aromatic and soft, like rubbing an orange leaf, with a palo santo that doesn’t overpower because the kumquat tames the intensity of the sandalwood. That spicy freshness of the pepper reminds me of Marc Jacobs BANG. The quality-to-price ratio is great, with a brutal sillage that’s one of the ones that has stuck to my skin the most.
As it dries down, Noble Palo Santo smells like copal incense with cheerful flowers in the background. It’s like walking along a ravine with copal trees dripping with resin and wildflowers around. I was surprised and captivated by it, especially at this excellent price. It has three very distinct stages, all lovely, but the dry-down is mystical, clean, and a real treat.
It’s a vibrant leather in Parfum format.
I’m sure it has more notes than declared. I manage to smell a damp forest that easily makes you feel self-conscious with a clean aroma.
I’m sure this perfume has more notes than declared; I can smell a damp forest that easily makes you feel small with a clean scent.
Synthetic notes that give you a headache. It never smells good. (Review of a bottle bought in Mexico in October 2020).
I can’t stand this scent; I don’t find what some YouTube reviewers say is a great fragrance. I don’t like it at all, not in the opening nor in the dry-down. Do yourself a favor and try it before buying. P.S.: Personal opinion and experience.
Along with Vibrant Leather Winter, these are the two best fragrances from Zara; you can buy them blind without worry.

I can’t stand this scent. I don’t find what YouTube reviewers say about it being a great fragrance; I dislike it from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and try it before buying.
A fresh and rich fragrance that reminds me a bit of Othello from the 80s. I like the scent, but it has Zara’s usual problem: poor longevity. For the €12 I paid, I can’t ask for more.
When sprayed into the air or on clothes, it smells somewhat spicy and alcoholic, but on my skin it settles softer and woodier, like aromatic burned wood with a hint of incense. You have to be careful with the amount or it smells too spicy, even synthetic. It doesn’t leave a huge trail and I like that; I prefer it not to be invasive and noticeable only up close. (November 2020 for 10.95€). I liked it less than Zara’s Fresh Sandalwood.
When sprayed in the air or on clothes, it smells spicy and alcoholic. On the skin, it softens into a smoky aromatic wood with a hint of incense. Be careful with the amount or it smells very synthetic. It doesn’t leave a huge trail, which I like; I prefer it not to be invasive and noticeable only up close.
The bright orange and potent smoky wood stand out; those are the prevailing notes. Too bad it only lasts about two hours on my skin.
As always, Zara declares the supposed three main notes listed on Fragrantica (though I’ll spoil it for you: they aren’t really). The box says: top with kumquat, grated lemon, and bergamot; heart with black pepper and black leather; base with palo santo, mountain moss, and crackling amber. It looks more like a Michelin-star restaurant menu than a perfume. The list of chemical and synthetic ingredients is long, but nothing compared to perfumes costing several times more (in December 2020 it was 11€/100 ml). That said, it’s one of the few Zara men’s fragrances I consider worth keeping for my taste. When Vibrant Leather came out (and I didn’t know about Aventus and the rest), I used it a lot until I got tired of that smoky pineapple. I don’t detect any of the declared notes; for me, 80% of its development smells like a softened Vibrant Leather (which also doesn’t smell like leather anywhere). I don’t perceive Palo Santo; I imagine it’s hard to extract synthetically, maybe a faint woody scent at the very end of the dry-down. I don’t know what copal smells like, so I can’t confirm if Juanpasiones was right. Regarding longevity, some say it’s an issue, but for an 11€ fragrance, it’s normal it doesn’t last long; still, it does more than enough if it lasts 4-5 hours, and on me it lasts longer. To sum up: a soft Vibrant Leather that ends up woody in the dry-down, pleasant, easy to like, with a certain unisex vibe, quite good longevity on my skin (6-8h), and a light trail. Au revoir!
As always, Zara lists the three Fragrantica notes (though I don’t detect them). The box promises kumquat, lemon, bergamot, pepper, leather, palo santo, moss, and amber; it sounds more like a Michelin-star menu than a perfume. Long synthetic ingredients, but nothing far off from much more expensive perfumes (it cost €11 for 100ml in 2020). Among Zara’s men’s scents, it’s one of the few I like. When Vibrant Leather launched, I used it until I got tired of that smoky pineapple. I don’t smell the declared notes; to me, 80% of it smells like a softened Vibrant Leather (without the leather scent). I don’t detect the palo santo, maybe a slight woody touch at the end. The longevity is good for the price: 4-5 hours is normal, but on my skin it lasts longer. In short: a softened Vibrant Leather that ends with woody notes, pleasant, easy to like, unisex, with a light sillage.
Top fragrance, definitely. It’s one of my favorites because it’s versatile: noticeable without being overwhelming, suitable for any weather, and lasts over 10 hours on my skin. It smells on clothes and skin similar to Montblanc Explorer, but at a lower price. It’s linear, but in the end, the orange and rich wood notes shine through. If you try it, you won’t regret it.
It’s a very good fragrance, definitely recommended. It’s one of my favorites because it works for every occasion: it’s striking but not invasive, it handles well in any weather, and in my case it gives me tremendous longevity, over 10 hours. Even lingering on clothes and skin, it’s similar to Montale Black Explorer but at a lower price. It’s linear in its development, but at the end you perceive more of the orange with a very rich wood. Without a doubt, if you have the chance to buy it, do it; you won’t regret it.
I own this side-by-side with Terre d’Hermès and they are almost identical; I recommend it as a budget alternative.
