To me, it smells like orange leaves, even the bitter orange peel.
I bought this for my sister because she loved Ferrari’s Neroli Bright, and when I tried it, I liked it too, so I got another one for my girlfriend, who was also surprised by the quality and price. It’s soft, fresh, and charming, just right for full-sun days.
It’s an intense freshness, perfect when the heat becomes unbearable. Smells like pure neroli, though to me it sounds a bit bitter and rough; in other brands like Jeanne en Provence or Portofino, I don’t notice that uncomfortable detail. The trail is moderate and lasts about 4 hours. If I want it sweeter, I apply an Arabic vanilla or floral oil, or a woody touch beforehand. EDIT: Now I’m completely smitten with neroli and I enjoy it so much. I’m bumping the scent rating to 7/10. Scent 5/10, longevity 4/10, trail 6.5/10, value 5/10, versatility 3.5/10, packaging 6.5/10. Would I buy again? No.
