It smells good, but it’s a bit dizzying because the musk and leather are so prominent. For the price, the longevity is incredibly long.
It smells good, but the excess of musk and leather gives me a slight headache. Despite being cheap, its longevity is incredibly long.
I have very good memories of this perfume. It goes great for its price and quality. Rating: 7/10.
I have very good memories of this classic. It’s excellent for its price-to-quality ratio. Rating: 7/10.
It’s cheap and smells cheap. I think it was missing balance or other notes to avoid smelling so much like musk. In my opinion, this would be the last thing I’d wear, even if it’s not a cheapie; it just smells common and ordinary.
Damn, what a joke it is to complain about musk in a perfume literally called Musk. What did they want? I have great memories of the 90s formula… I haven’t tried this one, but I’m really craving it because nowadays musk is my favorite note.
I loved it; I saw it in an Avon magazine and honestly, I have no regrets. It has a very strong and exquisite scent that reminds me of leather! It’s very seductive and very manly. 9/10
An Avon legend. The current version opens with lavender and a mentholated touch, but then it goes straight to the base musk and leather. The musk balance is better than before, and the leather lasted about 6 hours on my skin; when I move my arms, I still smell leather and have to check my wrist to confirm it’s still there. The trail is softer than in past editions, but for the price, it’s still a hit.
One of Avon’s classics. The latest formulation has a lavender note in the opening along with something like a pinch of mint. The interesting thing is that after the top notes, I feel it goes straight to the base notes of musk and leather. The musk seems more balanced than before, and the leather has quite good longevity on the skin. I apply it in the morning, and about 5-6 hours later, with a movement of my arms, I still feel a faint leather note that makes me sniff my wrist to make sure it’s still there. Finally, the sillage is softer compared to previous formulations, but it’s still a good perfume given its low price.
The scent is delicious, what a shame this classic is no longer available because they pulled it from stock.
The scent is very delicious, what a pity it can’t be found anymore since they took it out of stock.
My daily winter fragrance. Sometimes I even wear it around the house on a rest day, watching Netflix and eating snacks. Super economical and manly. I won’t elaborate on the notes because the folks below have already said it better. If you’re like me, more into the old-school vibe and perfumes with vanilla and tonka bean aren’t your thing, you should buy this. Cheers, community.
It’s a fragrance that gives the impression of being elegant, not for young people unless they’re wearing a suit and tie; I see it more on mature people over 30. It’s delicious, but it has a certain 80s vibe. For the price, it’s amazing; you can’t ask for more cost-performance.
The bottle says lavender, not bergamot or neroli. It clearly smells like musk, an elegant and warm scent, though recent versions have a fresher touch. It’s POTENT, lasts forever, and lingers a lot; it’s very masculine, old-school style.
The packaging clearly states it has lavender, not bergamot or neroli. Obviously, if it smells heavily of musk, which is an elegant and warm scent, but also, in the newer versions, has a fresh touch. POTENT, this perfume lasts a long time and lingers a lot, very old-school masculine.
I have the current bottle, which is more square than the classic rectangular one. It says “Musk+,” but it’s the only one almost identical on the web. This was my previous fragrance before the current one. I assume I must have been gifted an Avon Musk a couple of times during my teens. But now, at 40, I received it last Christmas and only started using it a few months ago when my Mediterranean ran out. I don’t really like it now. It should be the other way around; I’d expect to like it more now that I’m older. I used to wear it just in case I went out without perfume. The opening is very aggressive to my nose. After two hours, it’s just skin scent, and it lasts about 3-4 hours total. Not recommended for summer.
I tried the Avon Musk and it’s elegant, smelling of musk, leather, and citrus, but I’ve tried other Axe and Yanbal Musks and guess what? They all smell exactly the same.
Here in Argentina, Musk+ comes in the new bottle but just says “Musk,” just like the classic. I think they don’t manufacture it in Brazil anymore, since reviewers there showing the full line never include it. It’s an incredible scent, though very synthetic (and for that price…), clearly retro or classic and super masculine despite having a floral touch. It’s a bit bold and attention-grabbing (in a good way). I feel like it’s the EDT version, more complex, of the classic Axe Musk. It gives me mixed feelings, but I’d wear it around the house and in cool weather. I wouldn’t dare wear it to work. Ideal for someone over 35 or with a strong personality if they’re younger. Decent performance for the price I paid (u$10 = 15,000 Argentine pesos)
Musk Light, the one they no longer sell, I used it back in 1981 right after high school in Argentina. People kept complimenting me on how rich and sensual it smelled. Once, at a catalog store, they didn’t have it, so I swapped it for the strong Musk, but I didn’t like it as much. Years ago, by pure chance, I stumbled upon Musk+ and what a surprise! It’s almost identical to my old Musk Light. Putting it on instantly transports me back to my youth, my 18-year-old self ❤️
