Descripción

Le Beau Flower Edition by Jean Paul Gaultier is a fruity aromatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2025, this creation was designed by Quentin Bisch, Natalie Gracia-Cetto, and Amélie Jacquin. The opening unfolds with a vibrant top note of kumquat and lemon. The heart reveals floral and herbaceous elegance through violet leaf and geranium. The base finishes with a warm, creamy woody accord of cashmere, tonka bean, and patchouli.

  • 1/11/25 Purchased and tested. Update: It starts fresh with unlisted citrus notes that change the vibe. That’s why it’s called ‘flower edition’; the shift is undeniable, swapping the coconut for a fresher, floral, and aquatic accord. The new bottle even has a tab for easier opening. 12/31/24: I detect a slight aldehydic opening, but it doesn’t bother me. If I had to compare it, I’d fervently say that, with my inexperienced nose, it retains some resemblance to Bvlgari Aqva. Overall, for presenting something relatively new in men’s perfumery with that accord, I give it an 8/10. I’d recommend it, though not for blind buys; you might expect a scent very much like ‘Le Beau’, but it has little to no relation to its ‘classic’ DNA contemporary, which is barely perceptible. For my taste, it’s a daily wear.

  • I went to try it at Primor today and liked it a lot, but it smelled familiar. When I got home with the dryer, my surprise was seeing that Le Beau Flower Edition smells almost identical to Emanuel Ungaro for Him, a €15 cologne. Still, it’s a pleasant, fresh, semi-sweet, and floral aroma, but I wouldn’t buy it when there are so many cheap alternatives that sound alike.

Honestly, it feels like just ‘another one’. I tested it at Druni on blotter and skin, and the performance, projection, and longevity are quite poor. Typical JPG base, sweet with citrus touches but very synthetic. Fragrance at 86€ for 125ml. For me, it’s not worth it at all.

  • I tried it yesterday, and honestly, I can’t quite pinpoint the scent, but it wasn’t pleasant, striking, or long-lasting in my experience… an unnecessary launch in my opinion.

  • I tested it at a store and, honestly, it leaves me indifferent. It’s a good perfume, but I don’t think it adds anything new, and I’m not sure how it will stand out in the JPG lineup.

  • I understand if you buy it for the bottle and collecting, because the scent is pretty meh, lasts about 7 hours on my skin but seems quite generic.

  • Can’t wait to try it soon. I’m glad they removed the coconut. That note was unbearable for me and gave me nausea.

  • It’s a clean citrus scent, and there are already thousands like it on the market. It offers nothing special and has nothing to do with Le Beau. Plus, it’s the most expensive of them all.

  • A twist in the Le Beau series. This citrus-floral with that sweet undertone is a delight for me. With spring and summer heat coming, I can’t wait to enjoy it. Performance remains to be seen, but right now, the scent is incredibly pleasant.

  • I thought saying it smells exactly like We Are Tribe by Benetton was a joke, but after trying it, it’s identical. The Benetton version is actually a copy of this one; the difference is that JPG stays linear while Benetton evolves into something like Invictus.

  • I bought all the Le Beau scents because I love the line and the coconut; this one, even without coconut, smells very much like the EDT and Paradise. I bought it, but I’m slowing down my collecting spree and might return it. I’ll test it with testers these days, but I don’t think I’ll keep it: it’s too pricey, and I want to see how the new ones perform. I’d only recommend it if you like the original and floral scents.

  • LE BEAU FLOWER EDITION is only for collectors, available for about 6 months, like Lovers last year. Estimated until summer 2025. To me, it’s a sweet citrus (kumquat and cashmere), a bit aquatic due to the violets, ideal for spring and summer daytime. I don’t detect any flowers at all; the name doesn’t fit. It’s not a projection beast nor ultra-new, but it’s not just another one; I don’t know a similar scent. It’s linear, doesn’t change over time. It has more notes: pineapple, patchouli, tonka bean, lemon, geranium, and absinthe. Perfumers: Quentin Bisch, Natalie Gracia-Cetto, and Amélie Jacquin. It doesn’t stand out for anything, just the collector’s bonus (I’ll buy it because I’m a fan), but otherwise, you can skip it (unless you really like it, it’s a good scent).

  • Givenchy Gentleman 💘

Le Beau without coconut? Flower Edition is a floral citrus. I don’t find the sweetness people mention or the coconut that seemed like its hallmark; it distances itself more than anything from the Le Beau DNA. I’m not a floral person, but if you’re looking for that, it’s a great option without expecting a connection to the rest of the Le Beaux. Moderate projection, lasts 5-7 hours on skin. My rating: 5/10, the worst Le Beau. If you want fresh with coconut, Paradise Garden is better. For those wanting a floral citrus, I’d give it 7/10, clarifying that it’s not a Le Beau as we knew it.

  • I’m a huge JPG fan but didn’t get this launch. It smells like plastic, like a generic 2015 perfume. Obviously, it’s wearable with good longevity and projection as usual, but honestly, it’s not worth buying.

  • I don’t understand all the hate for this fragrance. I think Le Beau Le Parfum set the bar too high. It’s excellent, a fresher and more citrusy version of Le Beau EDT, the most versatile in the line. Flower Edition seems more relaxed for being outdoors. Perfect for walks, the gym, or the beach. Fixation isn’t the best and the price is a bit high, but the scent and projection are fantastic. It’s a beast of a fragrance. 9/10.

  • Flushedatom

It reminded me of those bubblegum figurines from my childhood. Suddenly, it gives me nausea. Very youthful, even effeminate in my opinion. I suppose some will like it; it’s a 50/50. Definitely don’t buy it blind.

  • MarquezCastillo

It’s not for everyone. It’s totally different from the rest of the collection, with a feminine floral and marine touch, ideal for summer and hot nights. Lasts a long time on skin and evolves over time. It’s a limited edition like Lovers, recommended for collectors and brand fans. It strays far from what one expects from a European gourmet.

  • First off, disclaimer: this is my raw opinion, tastes vary, and it can smell different on skin. It’s a beast, a rare, rich, addictive, and unique scent. The longevity, sillage, and projection are brutal, surpassing everything I own. I’ve gotten more compliments in a short time; it’s perfect for daily wear, the office, or going out—you’ll definitely be asked about it. Girls love it (you knew that, haha). I work in customer service, and this smells even in the cafeteria, over 10 meters away. The violets mixed with the kumquat citrus smell amazing. I swear, it’s the most powerful and flattering fragrance in my collection, right up there with Paradise Garden. Lasts a full workday; after 8 hours, I still get bursts, especially on clothes. Sillage is heavy. Excellent launch from JPG. Scent: 10/10, Compliments: 10/10, Sillage: 10/10, Projection: 10/10. BEAST MODE. Based on my experience, but everyone is free to decide.

  • Dantelautaro

Nefarious. It doesn’t last or project; after 40 minutes, it seems diluted in water.

  • danieldeidara123

It’s like Le Beau but without that disgusting coconut note that gives you nausea. It’s more wearable, more floral with that vanilla touch but fresh, very nice. It’s more feminine and smells great, but I wouldn’t buy it because it’s too expensive for what it offers. If it were cheaper, I’d grab it, but for the price, it’s not worth it.

  • Esteban Gomez

Reminds me of a surfer or something from the Caribbean, haha. Those floral notes really stand out and it has good longevity, around 7 to 8 hours. The projection surprised me too; it’s strong right after application and stays there. I usually prefer dark scents, but if it smells good, it’s worth it.

  • To me, it’s a showstopper. Smells clean like lilac or violet flowers with a tropical twist, kind of like Paradise Garden. It’s soft but lasts a long time, about 6 to 8 hours, which is incredible for such a gentle scent.

  • I’ve been testing it lately and it performs better than Le Beau EdT. More projection and longevity. I wore it at 30 degrees and got tons of compliments. It’s fresh and not overpowering. I recommend it for daily wear in heat or temperate climates if you like fresh scents.

  • It’s citrus-floral and fresh, but in my opinion, it projects very little. It feels clean, simple, and pleasant, but nothing more. It lacks character or anything that makes it special. Honestly, there are cheaper options that outperform this in scent and longevity. The packaging is classic for the brand, but that’s it. I wouldn’t recommend it.

  • I don’t know why there’s so much hate; I absolutely love it. Smells like the beach, citrus, too rich and sweet. If it’s not for everyone, it’s perfect for me.

  • I tried it at Sears and loved it from the first sniff. It’s floral, could easily be unisex, which is perfect for my daily rotation. It lasted over 8 hours and projected well, though maybe that was just luck. It’s not worth the price tag, nothing innovative, but if you have extra cash and want something off-the-beaten-path for men, it’s ideal.

  • Reminds me of Club de Nuit Milestone; they aren’t identical, but that violet note is spot on. It smells like pure violet here.

  • Definitely, the Le Beau line has a special charm, and this is no exception. A perfume that almost feels like second skin. Rich, light, fresh, talcum-powdery, beautiful. It has an extremely sexy dry down that borders on feminine. If you have issues with that, this isn’t for you. If you’re confident enough to wear scents that aren’t citrus and woods, you’ll find here a seductive and intimate experience that invites closeness.

  • GammaPerfumería

The base notes are noticeable from the start, then the heart, then the dry down. The violet is present throughout the entire life of the perfume. It feels a bit dry due to that violet sensation. It could remind me of the Le Beau line, but not because of the coconut or the tropical vibe—I can’t quite explain it. Luckily, I didn’t buy it blind.

  • Too floral. I tested it in summer with moderate projection and it didn’t convince me; the scent strays from the coconut found in other versions. I tried it again in cold weather, and it doesn’t perform its best, so I consider it more for daytime and mild climates. Not a blind buy.

  • What a beast of a scent. I got it a week ago via a trade. I’m not sure if it’s common to all JPGs, but they have this aura that feels like ‘god mode’ or a ‘solar sensation’—I don’t know if it’s a specific note, but it makes me feel like a millionaire every time I wear it, lol. The same happened with Scandal EDT. This is a great perfume; it lasts really well, 8-9 hours without drama on clothes. Projection is okay, but it makes up for it with quality and longevity. Ideal for spring, summer, informal outings, and for me, it’s great for evening wear too. I went to a birthday party at a bar last night and received great compliments. One of my new favorites; I recommend it.

  • I picked it up on sale for $60 for 125ml; it never dropped below $120 before. It doesn’t offend anyone—it’s ‘harmless’ and keeps you fresh in the heat without issues. Longevity reached almost 10 hours, noticeable. I love the violet note. It’s not a compliment machine, but I did get positive feedback. Honestly, if it hadn’t been on sale, I wouldn’t have bought it.

  • StarlinCollado

Truth be told, it surprised me more than expected. It feels clean and pleasant, and on my skin it smells like soft, elegant leather (not sure if from the flower or the accord, but it’s there). I would wear it; it’s not annoying, but it doesn’t drive me crazy either. It’s not a scent that obsesses you or generates many compliments. More correct, comfortable, and easy to wear. Rating: 7/10. Smells like clean floral with a soft, elegant leather base. I feel calm and comfortable. I like it, but it doesn’t excite me. I’d use it for casual wear, chill outings, and everyday life without trying to stand out.

  • I think it’s underrated. Rich, pleasant aroma, and the most wearable in the line. Maybe it’s not as innovative, but it’s incredibly delicious. On my skin, it lasts at least 7 hours, sometimes more, with a trail of almost 2 hours. Too bad it’s limited edition because it’s quite good.

  • Wlad Molina

Green sophistication with a youthful vibe. The opening is delightful: citrus on point with violet and geranium, a green floral with earthy nuances, almost like dried leaves. A modern, powdery accord that feels different from the usual JPG. While there are similar scents at the start, the evolution makes all the difference. Every skin dries it differently, revealing unique facets. Reminds me of Boss Bottled Intense but with a green twist and less sweetness. The dry down is a dry, semi-sweet woodsy finish that balances freshness with an elegant closure. It’s not your typical sweet JPG; it’s for smelling different, sophisticated, and less mainstream. Informal character, perfect for spring and summer—it stands out and earns compliments for its originality. It doesn’t smell like a generic summer blue; it’s a fresh alternative with personality. My rating: 9/10. Despite the criticism, it surprised and captivated me. In the end, that distinct and memorable olfactory experience is what matters.

  • Fresh and floral, though it can get sharp and annoying if you’re not into florals. A decent flanker—not the worst in the line. Pairs well with a shirt in spring; you smell great for a few hours. The bottle is gorgeous.
