Oh my god, it’s insane—the most elegant coconut scent I’ve ever heard. On my skin, the coconut stands out throughout the entire duration of the fragrance. I really, really love it.
They left Vie Est Belle neglected in an open bottle one summer day right near the sea. Its voluptuous essence evaporated, went on vacation confused with the sea mist. A noon sunbeam hit, and white coconut juice from the palms on the shore mixed in. Another fragrance for fruit solar addicts with a touch of jasmine. The cocktail is ready. This time I’m going to give it a try.
I’m completely head over heels for this perfume, I love it! It didn’t hit me hard at first, but as I enjoyed it day after day, I ended up falling in love. At first spray, it’s very similar to the classic, but as the scent develops, luxury made into aroma truly blooms on your skin. This is a marvel, a beautifully conceived creation. It’s soft, sweet without being cloying, refined, romantic, clean—it’s everything beautiful you can imagine. I bought it blind, as I usually do with most of my perfumes, and this was a 10 out of 10. I emphasize that I’m not a fan of the classic LVEB; if you don’t like the classic for its sharp sweetness, you can try this amazing flanker that strays far enough and surpasses it. Would I buy it again? Yes, it simply must be in my collection.
Incredible! I love this perfume with all my heart. I own the original Vie Est Belle, and this one absolutely crushes it. On my skin, it smells like super vanilla-infused coconut (not cloying at all like the original) with those beautiful floral undertones… ufff, delicious. People always ask what I’m wearing; my mom smelled it and said she loves how I smell (she’s not really into perfumes). I adore it and would buy it again without hesitation. I recommend it 200%; it’s simply enchanting. It’s a juicy, sweet, vanilla coconut scent that isn’t cloying thanks to a noticeable patchouli touch. The dry down is floral yet you still feel the coconut, and eventually, it settles into a powdery musk. The longevity is unbeatable—it lasts for hours and hours. Simply exquisite.
I absolutely love LVEB. I bought a bottle a few years ago but had to get rid of it because I just couldn’t handle it; I loved it so much I dreamed of wearing it and lived with that regret for years until this beauty arrived in my collection. It has the DNA of the original but is so much more wearable, with an addictive sweet coconut note. The vanilla is present but not overpowering—it’s perfect, perfectly balanced. I’m wearing it in spring and it’s flawless; it has amazing sillage and longevity. A true gem. If you, like me, couldn’t handle the original, this might be the one for you. It’s simply gorgeous. I love it.
It was nice to discover that at least one version of LVEB is for me. Being someone who lives by the beach and experiences summer all year round, this fragrance has everything I was looking for to wear ‘daily.’ It’s a completely tropical yet fresh scent that is incredibly long-lasting. The first time someone applied it for me, besides falling in love with the aroma, it was a pleasant surprise to realize its longevity on my skin—it lasted practically 24 hours, and I insist, where I live it’s hot and humid. Definitely, it’s a well-made fragrance for summer.
Honestly, I was drawn to buy this version because of the bottle; it caught my eye. Still, I liked the perfume, even though coconut isn’t one of my favorite notes. Here, the coconut-vanilla blend is so delicious I couldn’t resist. It has a citrus opening and then feels milky. It doesn’t have as heavy of a sillage as Vie Est Belle, and even better, it doesn’t smell so much like patchouli! Yet, it still has an elegant touch. I feel it’s timeless, but I’d love to wear it at the beach. Would I buy it again? Maybe.
I resisted LVEB for years, couldn’t even stand being near someone wearing it. A few weeks ago, I saw this fragrance on sale on the Lancome website and bought it blindly. What a surprise—I was fascinated. It’s a delight, smelling of coconut and vanilla but very elegant. It’s sophisticated and irresistible. Since it’s a limited edition, I’m planning to get a backup, which only happens when I truly fall in love. I’m definitely joining the LVEB club.
I bought it blindly because of the coconut and vanilla notes. At first, it smells like a mix of everything, very citrusy; after 15-20 minutes, it becomes earthy with floral undertones, then shifts to a sweet but very soft scent, nothing heavy or cloying.
Soft citrus opening, very light. After 30 minutes, it transforms into a milky coconut with vanilla. Lasts about 4 hours. I don’t detect the original LVEB DNA here; it’s not my favorite, but I love that it doesn’t overwhelm my senses.
I love the opening of this perfume. It’s sweet but not cloying. I only receive positive feedback. Personally, perfumes tend to stick to my skin and always end up sweeter than they are. This perfume is a 9 out of 10.
It lacks the essence of LVEB; it’s citrusy at the start, but then instantly turns sweet into a heavy, saturated coconut and vanilla that overwhelms the nose. If you like Lancôme and vanilla perfumes, I recommend Nuit Tresor NUDE instead.
LVEB Soleil Cristal EDP. It just arrived today; I was tempted by its price on the official Lancôme website, especially since it’s a 100ml bottle. Honestly, I thought I’d eventually find the classic LVEB DNA in it. The truth is, I started liking the line when I tried Domaine de la Rose. Exquisite. And very powdery. But Soleil Cristal is pure talcum powder, dust. I can smell the vanilla, but the powdery note dominates. My sense of smell isn’t highly trained, but I don’t find the coconut. I also don’t find the lactonic note. Just vanilla powder. It has a juicy opening, but once it dries, it’s exactly that—dry. Persistence and trail are excellent, as with the whole LVEB line. It didn’t drive me crazy. I’ll use it because it’s a lovely fragrance, but maybe I wouldn’t recommend buying it blind. I wouldn’t buy it again.
It’s a bomb. The citrus hits well at the start, and immediately you get a well-defined coconut. Sweet and divine; it doesn’t even feel like a flanker of LVEB because I don’t think they share the same DNA, which is good because almost all LVEB flankers say nothing—they’re sweet but lack personality, whereas this is the opposite. People compare it to Alien Goddess by Mugler, which I understand but don’t share, since Alien Goddess smells very similar to a Hawaiian Tropic-style bronzer, which feels a bit ordinary considering Mugler’s level. When I tried it, it disappointed me. If you like vanilla perfumes that are delicate, with a citrus touch and a bit of coconut, this is the one. Incredible longevity and an amazing trail, just like always with Lancôme.
I bought it blind as soon as it came out without hesitation, thinking vanilla and coconut were a guaranteed win. But guess what happened? I DIDN’T LIKE IT! ha! On my skin, it turned into an unbearable old makeup smell. I didn’t even get to the dry-down because I couldn’t tolerate that odor. So, I recommend testing it first because, in my case, the experience wasn’t the best. It’s way too powdery.
A fragrance that is both supremely elegant and youthful. It lasts for hours and has a great trail. In spring and summer, it truly shines. You can definitely smell the coconut and background vanilla, with a slight citrus touch at the beginning that fades quickly. It’s coconut, coconut, and more coconut, but in a super elegant way.
Beautiful—a very elegant coconut. It’s the first and only La Vie Est Belle I own. I chose it because I know the original scent and read positive reviews about this flanker. I love the coconut and vanilla notes, especially when combined. I was looking for something gourmand yet elegant (avoiding that powdery, ‘makeup-like’ vibe) and versatile. While it’s great for summer or casual outings, it holds up perfectly for gatherings, special occasions, work, and indoor spaces. I love it and enjoy using it a lot. It puts me in a good mood; sometimes, just for the pleasure of smelling it at home, I dab a tiny bit on each wrist. It has that bright, luminous mandarin citrus note noticeable at the start. Yes, if you love coconut, this is the one that stands out most. It’s a powdery coconut (coconut-iris) blending with vanilla and a hint of mandarin. I’m considering making it my signature scent. By the way, it was the first perfume that stopped a stranger on the street to ask for my name (I had already resigned myself to this never happening in real life). That same evening, when I got home, my dad told me he knew I’d arrived before I did because, from over 3 meters away, the scent reached him before I did. Would I buy it again? Yes.
Absolutely delicious—a very sweet, prominent, and sophisticated coconut. Perfect for hot days, beach days, and sunshine. Lasts over 12 hours.
I only wanted to try it because of the hype from Zenz, and I can say: finally, a coconut perfume that DOESN’T smell like sunscreen. It’s beautiful—a soft, enchanting vanilla-coconut blend that’s totally acceptable for heat without being cloying. Very feminine and tender. I loved it and can’t wait to get the original version. It’s already one of my favorites.
I like the scent, even though I’m not a fan of mixing coconut and vanilla. I wish the talcum powder note wasn’t so strong; it actually reaches my throat.
When I saw it had coconut and vanilla, I thought it would be amazing, but what happened: as soon as I sprayed it, I felt the LVEB DNA softened and powdery. Where is the coconut-vanilla? I can’t smell it at all. I only smell patchouli and pink pepper all the time. The other notes are completely missing. Honestly, I expected something else; this fragrance disappointed me, and I wouldn’t buy it again. There are better perfumes with coconut and vanilla. Longevity is 12 hours, with great presence. RECOMMEND TRYING BEFORE BUYING.
The only thing I don’t like is the coconut scent, and to me, the smell of coconut is repulsive.
For me, it’s simply the best flanker of LVEB. Delicious, sweet, feminine, and subtle. I can really smell the coconut, ylang-ylang, and vanilla. It’s perfect for summer because it’s soft, yet despite being soft, it lasts forever. One of my best discoveries this year.
A good flanker of LVEB; it keeps its DNA lightly and adds a creamy coconut touch, like lotion or sunscreen. When it dries, it feels powdery, like makeup. It doesn’t resemble Alien Goddess or Soleil Blanc. Ideal for warm days when LVEB feels too heavy. I recommend it if you want to feel like you’re at the beach. Edit: I’m not sure if I’ll buy it again, but I used it once more and it was delightful—the coconut became creamier and I liked it. Curiously, I used it the same day I tried LVEB Iris Absolu; while that one felt like LVEB, in Soleil it felt different, though upon drying, the DNA returns. However, I’m torn because months ago I had an issue with L’Éclat that ruined it for me, and using it after 8 hours brought back the memory of that terrible flanker, which I think has ruined my budding relationship with LVEB.
Smells like a lady, patchouli from start to finish with a vanilla hint. Doesn’t stand out for its scent, only for its trail. What a disappointment.
I understand that scents are infinite, but calling it a ‘lady’s perfume’ (as an insult, are they vampires? if not, one day they’ll be ladies and the joke tells itself)… Then saying it just smells like patchouli and medicinal herbs. I don’t know… I repeat, I know there are nuances, but qualifying it so simply as bad? Wow, it only managed to say: pearls were definitely not made for pigs.
It smells like expensive coconut lipstick. What I detect most is iris and coconut; it’s tropical LVEB, the beach shirt, not a sunscreen coconut. If I smelled it blind, I’d never think it’s a flanker of La Vie Est Belle; it has its own personality.
I smelled it on blotter and liked it, but yesterday on my dry skin, it was something else: a smell like old rubber dolls or those plastic balls from Chilean supermarkets in the 90s, which is a scent I love. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long on skin and I’d have to reapply, but with the price here in Chile, it hurts to spend it, so I didn’t decide to buy it. The scent kills me, but due to the poor longevity, it’s not in my power.
Today I tried this perfume, and the first thing I noticed was the coconut and patchouli. Over time, the intensity stayed, but the patchouli took over and wore me out. I went home, washed the area, and the scent still persisted. I didn’t like it at all; it has a vintage vibe, seems like a heavy winter fragrance, and I can’t imagine it in summer.
At first, the bergamot and tangerine explode, but soon they yield to a creamy coconut with vanilla that doesn’t smell like sunscreen. Everything is wrapped in patchouli and iris, the LVEB DNA. It’s not strong, but I’m having trouble getting used to it because of that vibe that just isn’t for me. I tried it for the coconut; it’s sweet for spring, but I’m not sure it’s for summer heat. Edit: I definitely couldn’t stand it; it’s too powdery; the talc eclipses the coconut as it dries. It’s rich, but it’s not for me. I’ll gift it to my mom who absolutely loves the original LVEB.
Exactly like Nuit Tresor Nude, absolutely delicious.
What a beautiful perfume! I feel like this flanker has nothing to do with the original. It has a calm fruity and citrusy opening, then gives way to sweet coconut and vanilla. It’s not the luxurious coconut of Alien Goddess; it’s more like coconut lip balm, and I don’t know what note makes it powdery. It’s sweet, powdery, and fruity. I like it all year round, but it overwhelms me in summer. I even smell it as youthful, like for a quinceañera. The packaging is a dream.
I don’t detect the patchouli. It’s sweet and subtle; on my skin, it doesn’t last long and has poor projection.
I bought it blind and thought it was incredible. I’m a huge fan of beach scents or those that smell like sunscreen, and it’s the first time the description was spot on. It smells more like Hawaiian Tropic after-sun lotion than sunscreen, with a delicious sweet (and fruity) floral note. It’s a 10/10.
Smells like very sweet fruity caramel pops, with a milky, creamy coconut base, and finally the powdery touch of iris.
I didn’t like it. The fruity opening is there, but it quickly turns super powdery, I guess because of the iris. I tried giving it a thousand chances and there’s no way. It doesn’t resemble the original. The longevity is brutal; it lasts for days on clothes.
I really like it, quite beachy. On my skin, the coconut and vanilla stand out, but they’re powdery.
At first it smells citrusy, then you realize it’s LVEB, and then it fades, leaving a freshly cut coconut that’s more salty than sweet, with vanilla and a powdery drydown. It reminded me of LNT Nude. I give it a chance when it’s over 20 degrees; I think the cold kills it. EDIT: It’s hotter now and it’s really shining; the opening is gorgeous, but then that powdery iris takes over the entire fragrance.
My favorite LVEB flanker. It’s the only coconut scent I can stand; it smells like real, fresh fruit. It’s super sunny with an enchanting ylang-ylang. I disagree with those who say it’s soft—what did they buy?? This projects and lasts like a beast. I wear it in summer (southern Spain) and leave a trail wherever I go. It survives beach showers, bike rides, and the gym. If you like coconut, vanilla, and tropical vibes, it’s for you. Too bad they discontinued it.
It’s a bombshell, nothing like the original LVEB which I couldn’t get past. This one is a creamy coconut with vanilla, 9/10.
