Red apples, lemon, and brown sugar with a hint of vanilla… smells delicious. While the concept is common, it feels refined on the skin. I absolutely loved it and already plan to restock. The golden bottle is another story: cap, plaque, everything is pure art.
I bought it a few days ago and tried it in the afternoon. When I woke up the next day, it still smelled of apple, coconut, and cinnamon. Exquisite. It’s the limited edition extract in the sky-blue bottle. No regrets, though I think it’s not for hot weather; there are still months left for winter to end here in Argentina.
It’s a pity. A beautiful perfume that isn’t worth the price. It has no longevity, and if it does last, it’s only on the skin. A wasted piece of money.
A very gourmand perfume. For me, who’s not usually into gourmand scents, this one has completely won me over. It opens with a juicy, citrusy apple that dominates the entire evolution, though hints of vanilla and cinnamon linger in the dry down. My daughters say it smells like marshmallow, and they’re right. The longevity is good with moderate projection. Plus, I love the poetic nature of this fragrance; it’s sure to get compliments.
It’s a shame. A beautiful perfume that doesn’t justify the price. It lacks staying power, and when it does last, it’s just a skin scent. A total waste of money.
At first, it smells like citrus apple, probably due to the bergamot. Then it sweetens up, and that juicy apple dominates almost the entire evolution. I barely notice the cinnamon, but it’s there in the background, while the coconut is practically absent. I’ll add that this apple scent is different from others and is the one I’ve liked the most so far.
Things have changed since I first sniffed it. My mistake was testing it with another perfume, and the second was the weather. Now, in simple words: Danza smells like those autumn afternoons when you heat the oven for an apple strudel. At first, it’s fresh, but gradually it cooks with the dough, vanilla, and cinnamon, until it’s ready and you accompany it with hot chocolate. I only perceive it this way in cool weather; in the heat, it makes my nose uncomfortable, and I run away from it. If you wait for the right weather, it’s a pretty and enjoyable scent. Originally, it wasn’t bad, but I felt it lacked lift for those dragonflies. It smells like fresh red apple with cocoa, a touch of cinnamon and vanilla, staying this way the whole time. I bought it thinking it had coconut, but there’s no trace of it; it’s a bad translation on the Italian website. It seems more suitable for autumn or mild weather due to the cocoa load.
Things have changed since I first heard it, forcing me to update this review. My mistake was testing it with another scent and then the weather. Now the aroma is completely different: it’s like those autumn afternoons when you heat up the oven for an apple strudel. At first, it’s fresh, then it cooks with the dough, vanilla, and cinnamon, and finally, you accompany it with hot chocolate. I only really notice it in cool weather; in the heat, it bothers my nose. If you wait for the right conditions, it’s a lovely and enjoyable scent.
Nobile 1942 describes it as: ‘Created according to aromatherapy for a self-care effect on the hardest days.’ It’s an invitation to take life less seriously, with dukes, castles, and frivolity. A fragrance for self-care, when femininity demands a moment of pampering and carefree relaxation. And it’s true, it’s a light and affectionate gourmand, very tender and adorable. Of all the gourmands I own, this is the only one that still smells like a real perfume.
Nobile 1942 describes it this way: created to pamper yourself on hard days. ‘The Dance of the Dragonflies’ is an invitation to take life less seriously, with lightness and frivolity. Everything they say is true: it’s a light and affectionate gourmand, very tender and adorable. Of all my gourmands, this one still smells like a real perfume.
This perfume has been a dream come true. By chance, I heard its name, looked up info on Lehar’s opera, and fell in love platonically. It’s an invitation to travel, indulge, and let yourself be carried away by the wind. Upon trying it, I had an olfactory confusion; I couldn’t describe it. I closed my eyes, relaxed the rest of my senses, and understood the magic of this gourmand. It’s spectacular; its chords dance in harmony on your skin. There’s a hint of apple, then sweet cinnamon, refined vanilla embracing a white musk, and suddenly the apple returns with a citrusy bergamot touch that gives way to a creamy, fresh coconut vanilla. It lasted about 8 hours on skin with moderate projection. The bottle looks like it came out of a fairy tale. Fun fact: dragonflies symbolize good luck, peace, strength, prosperity, and purity.
Thanks to Cnidaria for sharing a decant of ‘Noble Dragonflies Dance’. The dragonfly, associated with the wind, represents change and reminds us to let it carry us where it blows. The name is poetic, and the bottle seems to come from a fantasy universe. It was hard to review: I had to test it for 4 days to understand it. Those dancing dragonflies didn’t stay still on my skin; when they did, they emitted a sweet scent like flower nectar. But their presence was so short I couldn’t catch them. Day one: 2 hours, day two: 2, day three: 1 hour more, and day four: 3 hours more. I had to bring my nose close to their wings to breathe that beautiful, secret scent. On me, it was linear, with bergamota, exquisite apple, and vanilla standing out. It has everything to be legendary, but I wasn’t fortunate enough to be invited to the dance. Scent: 8.5/10, Sillage: 1/10, Longevity: 5/10, Bottle: 10/10.
It smells mainly of sweet red apple without being cloying. You can detect cedar, which gives it freshness and prevents the sweetness from feeling heavy. You also perceive a very slight spicy note of cinnamon. My impression is that, while pleasant, it doesn’t match its price or the brand’s elegant concept. It stays as a rich but youthful and linear fragrance. The sillage is moderate and lasts about 4 hours. In my opinion, it’s a niche fragrance surpassed by much cheaper aromas. Scent: 7/10, Longevity: 5/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value for Money: 4/10, Versatility: 7/10, Packaging: 8.5/10. Would I buy again? No.
This perfume smells mainly of sweet red apple, without being cloying. In my opinion, the cedar is noticeable, giving it freshness and preventing the sweetness from weighing it down. Cinnamon is also barely felt. My impression is that while it smells good, it’s not worth the price or the brand’s elegant concept. It remains a rich but youthful and linear fragrance. The trail is moderate and lasts about 4 hours. A niche perfume surpassed by much cheaper scents. Scent 7/10, Longevity 5/10, Sillage 7/10, Value 4/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy it again? No.
I had been searching for this perfume for a long time because of that advertised apple, cinnamon, and vanilla note. What a disappointment. I love that opening of sour, juicy red apple, but over time it becomes synthetic, perhaps due to the mix of coconut and cedar. I think I have an expectations problem: when I finally smell it, I get let down. It’s not a horrible perfume, I just expected more.
Sweet red apple dominates, mixed with a canned-style vanilla, a touch of sweet coconut, and musk. The result is an apple and cinnamon jam with a hint of floral. The cedar is not noticeable, which could have saved this slightly cloying combination. I’d say it’s a red apple perfume for someone just entering adolescence.
