What a fragrance, more classic than the Colosseum itself. It opens green, citrusy, and spicy, then within minutes settles into lavender, geranium, and vetiver over a creamy musk base. Nothing new under the sun, but the scent is fantastic—it has everything we collectors look for in a fougère. It performs linearly, like a true old-school straight razor and talcum barbershop. Highly versatile, perfect to wear anytime without excuses; it looks great with everything, whether formal, semi-formal, or casual. A pure delight. Completely masculine, with moderate sillage and projection, lasting eight hours on my skin with just six sprays. A luxury as a signature scent. Scent: 10/10 Sillage: 8/10 Projection: 8.5/10 Longevity: 8/10

A musky fougère, very similar to MDCI’s Invasion Barbare and Dusita’s Issara. Soft, balanced, with no sharp edges or excessive notes—well-made and delicious. What makes it unique is the musk: if you add three musks to IB, or five to Issara, you get this. For fougère lovers, you must try it. The musk makes it more unisex, though it still leans masculine, as all good fougères do. It creates a sensation of being inside a bubble that lasts 9-10 hours, truly tenacious yet never intrusive. Projection is good and lasts a long time thanks to that heavy musk. For me, it’s almost year-round; in transitional seasons it’s perfect, and it works great in winter too, thanks to its musky character. In summer, however, it feels excessive to me—I’ve never been in the mood for it because it can be tiring and overwhelming.
