The opening surprises with a sweet and fresh apple, potent enough to be noticed up to a meter away. After half an hour, a strong praline note reminiscent of Swiss Arabian’s Shaghaf Oud emerges. I didn’t like the fruity-praline blend, though it might work well for those seeking a gourmand that isn’t cloying. Reasonable quality for the price, not luxury niche. Pity that the middle notes are very subtle; only the lotus stands out. It lasts less than expected, around 6 hours, and the dry-down feels very deconstructed. Scent: 3.8/10, Longevity: 6/10, Projection: 6.8/10, Emotional Impact: No, Originality: 6.9/10, Price: 30.35€/65ml. Recommended: Medium-Low.
For vanilla lovers: it’s a sweet, indulgent treat without being over the top. It clings to the skin and lasts about 6 hours. It doesn’t smell like apple or flowers, but rather like a dessert—think rice pudding or vanilla cream—cozy and relaxing. If you like gourmand vanilla, you’ll surely love it.
Without maceration, it smells very masculine and skin-like, resembling Tiziana Terenzi’s Spirit but softer. I let it macerate to see if the promised notes would bloom, because if not, it’s a definite no for me.
What a joy to have it! It smells just like Swiss Arabian’s Casablanca, one of my favorites, but this one doesn’t last as long in intensity and trail. The Ebhar by Rasasi covers everything: it’s addictive and I love it. The only downside is that it comes in 65 ml and costs the same as the Casablanca which has 100 ml.
As a man, I see this as unisex, even though the bottle screams ‘woman.’ It smells warm and clean, not cloying—perfect for fall and winter. The opening reminds me of NIVEA with creamy nuances, very similar to the DNA of Mercedes Benz Black but in a ‘feminized’ version. Pity that the dry-down leaves a synthetic touch that doesn’t fully convince me. My girlfriend also didn’t find it very interesting. Performance is weak, though it’s new and hasn’t oxidized yet. P.S.: I’ve never tried Casablanca.
At first, it hit me with a sharp, lemon-forward acidity, but once I let it macerate, it transformed into a gem. Now the apple shines, the lemon isn’t biting, and it finishes with a beautiful sweet base.
