The opening is strong; that dense, slightly ‘dirty’ musk can be shocking at first, but after 15 minutes it softens and shines. It reminds me of the scent of rosaries in the Vatican—if you’ve smelled them, you’ll know what I mean. Even though the name says ‘Intense,’ on my skin it lasts 4-5 hours, up to 8 on clothes, but it’s not that potent on the skin. I also own Arabians Tonka, and it’s in a different league. Roses Musk Intense works year-round; it depends more on your mood.

It gives me a bit of a headache with that intense sweetness typical of Montale. Yes, there are roses and yes, there’s musk, but they aren’t soft or clean; they’re a bit liquorish and dense, with a syrupy texture in my mind. It’s not my favorite and I won’t be buying it again, but if you want sweet roses and extreme longevity, it’s a good option.

Received it today, bought blind just based on the reviews. For me, it has quality notes: juicy, liquorish, and fresh roses. The rose scent is very intense—those deep red ones that seem to crush and squeeze the petals, followed by liquor and a touch of ambroxan or cetalox. Good trail and projection; lasts at least 12 hours if you don’t shower. It’s a good fragrance, but it reminds me of another one I don’t like, the original Curve from my youth. I probably shouldn’t have bought it based on my current tastes. I recommend it to those seeking intense, liquorish, and fresh red roses with quality notes.

The projection and sillage are good, lasting at least 12 hours if you don’t shower. It’s a great scent, but it reminds me of the original Curve from my youth, something I no longer enjoy. I recommend it to those seeking intense, boozy, and fresh red roses.

I don’t love it; buying it blind was a mistake. It’s synthetic, with low sillage and poor skin performance (max 3-4 hours), though it lasts on clothes. Sometimes it smells like church water or an older lady, although I have received compliments. It’s not an easy scent and definitely not for blind buys.

I love roses, but this wasn’t my favorite. On my skin, the opening is like a dry petal from an old book, with a strong and ‘dirty’ musk. Then the amber and a supposedly sweetening jasmine come through. I like it but don’t love it; it lacks projection despite lasting forever. Very soft on skin. I give it a 7/10.

I received it as a gift and was excited by the reviews: lots of roses, very sweet, fresh jasmine, and eternal longevity… blah blah. It’s rich, yes, but it’s not a big deal. Is it sweet? Yes, quite, but it doesn’t overwhelm. It smells like roses with amber, then jasmine with musk. I consider it ideal for an intimate, sensual date—nothing cloying, perfect for being close to your love without suffocating them like other fragrances from this brand do. It’s warm and feminine.

It’s rich, but I was expecting a rose bomb and that’s not happening. I feel it’s lacking in potency and sillage; Angel Nova has more rose, and Rose Gourmand from Zara has more power and longevity. Still searching for my roses.

It was an unexpected find: I ordered Alien and this one arrived instead. The seller wasn’t answering to swap it, so out of curiosity I tried it carefully, and wow, surprise. It has the most realistic and fresh rose opening I know. Performance is excellent, with 7 to 10 hours of longevity. In the end, it leaves a delicious, boozy jasmine trail. I spent hours smelling my arm. I even wrote to the seller to say I’d keep it and would buy the Alien later.

An unexpected find: this arrived instead of the Alien I ordered. I asked the seller to swap it, but curiosity got the better of me, so I carefully opened it to return it if I didn’t like it… and wow, what a surprise. It has the most realistic and fresh rose opening I’ve ever encountered, with excellent performance and longevity (7 to 10 hours). It finishes with a delicious, sweet jasmine. I spent hours smelling my arm and sighing. I messaged the seller to say I was keeping it and would buy the one that didn’t arrive later.

Love at first sniff. So rich, though I only perceive roses, musk, and sugar (yes, it smells duuuulce on my skin). Besides its rich aroma, it has powerful sillage and spectacular 10-hour longevity; I don’t have anything as powerful in my collection. It quickly became one of my favorites, very similar, if not equal, to Montale’s Roses Musk and Mancera’s Roses Greedy.

I really liked Intense Roses Musk. The opening feels citrusy, somewhat green with the rose, a bit synthetic at first, but after a few minutes it turns into a smoky rose that I find sensual and sophisticated. On my skin, I sometimes detect a sweet jasmine, and the smoky rose remains slightly sweet in the dry down. It’s not a perfume that develops too sweetly on my skin like others, which I love—it makes it very sensual and delicious. Keep in mind it’s an extract, so it’s a bit oily on the skin. It has over 10 hours of longevity and moderate but very noticeable sillage. Hope this little review helps, greetings 🙂

It hit me hard like Intense Roses Musk: starts citrusy and green, slightly synthetic, but within minutes transforms into that smoky, sensual, sophisticated rose. On my skin, it sometimes smells like sweet jasmine, leaving a base of smoky rose with controlled sweetness—nothing cloying. Since it’s an extract, it’s a bit oily, but lasts over 10 hours with a moderate yet very noticeable sillage. A total hit.
