After using up almost half a bottle, I’ll repeat what I said in the reel: according to the house, the bottle with its gradient evokes the warm light of dawn, the opportunity to change every day. It’s luminous, sensual, and the happiest in the Idole saga. Although it only lists three notes, I perceive a juicy tropical fruit like passion fruit or lychee, very acidic and fruity at the start, even citrusy despite no fruits being declared. The evolution is linear and energizing, though it drops in intensity when dry, leaving the vanilla rose as the star. It’s the longest-lasting of the entire saga, between 7-8 hours, and smells amazing, which is rare these days. It gives off great vibes, and at the end (on clothes, even days later), it reminds me of scents like Zara’s Red Temptation Summer (refreshing compared to the original) or Solo Ella EdT; they aren’t clones, just for your reference, but someone asked me if I was wearing the Zara one. I loved it for spring-summer, though I think it might get tiring. I’ll enjoy it a lot, but I’m not sure if I’ll repurchase.

After trying it, I felt brutally disappointed. It smells exactly like the first Idole, but without the patchouli or jasmine. It has a slight touch of orchid and vanilla when dry. Otherwise, it’s identical; it smells great but is very similar to the original, just a bit fresher. I’m sticking with Idole Nectar, which is my favorite ❤️.
I’ve never tried the Idole line, and to be honest, I don’t usually wear roses, but this perfume broke my rules. The evolution was exquisite: a powerful, fresh rose opening that later blends into flowers and vanilla. It dries down to a clean, slightly fresh musky vanilla. Lasted over 8 hours on my skin without fading. It’s the second scent that took me out of my comfort zone; the first was Santal 33 (I’m 100% vanilla and 0% floral).
My favorite from the Idole line; super feminine with amazing projection. People always comment on it when I wear it.
In this version, the rose remains the star, but it’s more vanilla and creamy than in the original… and less fresh, sparkling, and powdery. Now, while it’s a less classic rose, you have to like that note to like the perfume. If you’re looking for a sweeter, playful rose, there are younger options in this line. I think this perfume sits halfway between the original and Nectar, and personally, I’d stick with the latter, which is much more gourmand and distinct. Longevity is 5-6 hours with average projection, similar to the rest. In summary: a somewhat redundant launch. It doesn’t stray far enough from the original to justify owning both, and if you’re looking for something youthful, I’d go with Nectar. All in all, it’s not a bad perfume, but it adds little to the line and isn’t worth it.
I had expectations, but it’s practically identical to the first Idole in the line. On my skin, I barely notice a difference. It does seem a bit sweeter and less fresh. It’s another one in the line that doesn’t convince me.

On my skin, the rose really stands out: big, mature, dark-colored, with fleshy petals and a vanilla base. I also detected some unlisted citrus notes. I could smell it around me for about 3 hours without sniffing my wrist, but after showering, yes. In my opinion, it’s the one that stands out the most of the two I tried before: Idole and Nectar. It’s nothing new, but just for its longevity (until they reformulate), I’d get it. At least a 30ml bottle.
I tried it in-store and the scent and longevity are spectacular. I fell in love, I just want to buy it.
For me, the scent profile is inverted: an opening of orchid and vanilla, then the rose appears just like in the original, and the base is orchid fused with rose without vanilla. It’s true that at some point it feels like having the first Idole. Is it worth it? The opening and first moments are beautiful… It leaves a base that feels more distinguished. I think it’s more different than the other flankers. (I recommend trying it on skin to see how it evolves. Not a blind buy).
Let’s be honest, it’s very similar to the classic Idole. But the one who warns doesn’t betray. And yes, it’s called Idole Now, so expecting similarity is logical. When is this version better? When you need a strong, intense rose. When you’re looking for something feminine and sensual without spices. If the classic doesn’t work for you, try this version, which I think has more personality. Classic Idole for the day and Idole Now for the night is a great combination.

Similar to Lattafa’s Ajwad.
It has to be said, in the opening it’s very similar to the normal Idôle, but when it dries you notice the difference. A young, fresh rose with orchids, though more subdued. That said, it’s not as sweet and invasive as I would have expected with just three notes and that final vanilla. I find this Idôle flanker more vibrant and fresh, and above all, those characteristic Lancôme roses don’t overwhelm the perfume.
It has to be said, at first it smells very much like the regular Idole, but once it dries down, the difference becomes noticeable. It’s a young, fresh rose with orchids, though more subtle. The good thing is it’s not sweet or overwhelming like you’d expect with just three notes, especially the vanilla. I find this Idole flanker more vibrant and fresh, and above all, those classic Lancôme roses don’t overpower the scent.
Divine, refined, with presence and very long-lasting. I love it. Out of all the Idoles I’ve tried, this is the one that gets the most compliments. No matter where I am or who I’m with, someone always asks about my perfume. It’s quite similar to the original, but with a sweeter, vanilla touch that’s addictive to me.
I’ve tried the classic Idole, Nectar, and this one I just got, and honestly, I’m obsessed. The notes are attractive with a soft sweetness that isn’t cloying. It’s my favorite of all the flankers so far. When someone walks by, they say it smells delicious, and yes, on my skin it smells incredible. I’m sticking with this one.

Idole Now is fruity, floral, and vanilla. Fresh and fruity opening, with a peach scent mixed with the Idole line’s DNA; that rose and musk accord from the original is maintained. Like its mother, it’s for daily and daytime use, but adding vanilla gives it versatility, making it suitable for spring and summer nights too. Longevity is very good, around 10 hours, with a noticeable trail for the first 2 hours. It’s pleasant and I think women of all ages will like it, though probably more the younger ones. My preference remains the original, although I’d love to try the Eau de Toilette version.

I bought it blind and absolutely loved it. It’s sweet but not cloying. You can definitely feel the vanilla with that floral touch that keeps it light. In my opinion, it’s versatile for any occasion. I love the trail; it’s very good, but be careful—if you don’t like strong perfumes, there might be some conflict. I love having my scent noticed, so I was thrilled. I don’t know if it’s the vanilla, but men absolutely love it. Lancôme never misses.
I only have some samples that were gifted to me, and people always compliment it on me.
What a perfume! To me, it has a tropical opening and then settles into something elegant yet youthful where you can feel the rose, the vanilla coming through later, and those little sparks of orchid. No disappointment here; it’s exactly what it promises.
Delicious; I don’t really detect the orchid.
I tried this perfume recently; it’s pretty but felt identical to the original Idôle, just with better longevity and projection. It lasted several hours on my skin, unlike the original which faded within an hour. It’s pretty, but I still prefer Idôle Néctar because, while they’re similar, the other one just feels cuter and sweeter to me.
I bought it excited, and honestly, it doesn’t have the same projection on my skin as the first one I already owned. Still, it seems perfect for everyday wear.
Oh my goodness… I wasn’t expecting much and ended up with my mouth hanging open. It smells spectacular, elegant, and sumptuous, very delicate and delicious. It retains a bit of the DNA of the first Idôle but leans closer to its older sister, Tresor la Nuit, just with less power and sweetness. If only three notes achieved this perfect alchemy—rose, orchid, and vanilla—it was divine. I detect a touch of musk and a hint of citrus. I’ve really liked it, similar to Idôle Néctar.
To me, Idôle Now feels like a discounted version of Idôle Néctar, minus those popcorn notes. It’s less sweet, juicy, and addictive, with vanilla taking the lead from the start. The opening is rich and reminiscent of the first Idôle, but that blend of orchid and vanilla turns harsh and metallic on my skin throughout the dry-down, which I don’t like. Since I’m not a vanilla fan, I can’t get into it. I prefer the original, my favorite, or Néctar if you’re looking for more sweetness and depth.
Not for me, even though I like vanilla and roses separately; together, they just don’t work for me. But fair warning, it doesn’t smell like grandma—it’s youthful, sweet, and warm without being suffocating. It’s bright and innocent, perfect for anyone seeking that light feminine energy or wanting to leave a sweet impression. Spray it on your neck, and anyone hugging you will stare right at you. It’s another floral-vanilla addition to Lancôme’s lineup, neither better nor worse than the original Idôle, which I prefer for being fresher. It projects a pleasant, calm, and optimistic vibe, like Barbie from the old movies, which isn’t my style and makes me feel out of place, but the scent itself is top-notch, just like the rest of the brand.
It’s incredible; it’s my favorite of the Idole line. I was hunting for the Nectar, which I love, but I tried this one and fell hard. I got home and while the Nectar faded in 3 hours, this lasted over 9. I tried it again and decided on it because of how addictive it is. At first, you get those super sweet roses—nothing powdery—and I barely smell the orchid; it’s a sweetened rose with an amazing vanilla. It’s not a complicated perfume, but it feels super addictive and youthful. It projects like crazy and lasts forever on skin. Don’t buy blind; it’s one of those fragrances you either love or hate. I love it.
The classic Idole rose, but in this version, it dries down to a powdery, dusty scent on my skin.
It was my summer favorite for several years. It’s vanilla-based but a bit ‘watery’ with the rose note, making it perfect for super hot days. I should mention that some people didn’t like it or found it smelled metallic.
OMG, I’m head over heels for this fragrance. I bought the EDP of Idole as my first Idole and came with samples, including this Idole Now, and I absolutely love it. On my skin, it’s elegant roses with a very vanilla twist—exquisite. I’m smitten; the vanilla really shines through. Without a doubt, the EDP, Nectar, and Now have fascinated me.
Obsessed with it. But sadly, Idole Now now gives me a stuffy nose. What a pity for this gem. I remember back in the 2000s, the Oui from this house did the exact same thing to me.
A delightful rose and vanilla blend. It’s elegant and sweet but not cloying. I’ve received many compliments, and the longevity is good. I especially love it on cold days.
I hate rose notes, but this perfume has won me over over time. It makes me feel super feminine and romantic. Even though the rose is present, the vanilla adds an incredible creaminess. It gets tons of compliments from men. A 10 for daily spring wear; I went through half a bottle in a month and always choose it.
The roses have a metallic touch, and the vanilla never comes through. In the end, I had to give it away.
Very elegant; the rose is perfectly crafted and blends beautifully with the orchid and vanilla. It projects a luxurious vibe and lasts about 8 hours on my skin. I love it.
Sounds very elegant, but in my case, I only smell the rose, and it reminds me of old-fashioned women’s perfumes. It’s not bad, but I just don’t love it.
