  I didn’t realize I hadn’t reviewed this perfume yet; it’s a shame there are so few opinions. For anyone considering it, here’s my take: it’s very oriental, with a fruity-woody opening and delicious smoky notes. I wear it for special, almost formal occasions. The trail is incredible; I remember wearing it to a wedding, arriving home late at night, and a neighbor greeted me and praised the scent. It’s absolutely fantastic when it’s freezing cold.

  Lately, I’ve been diving into the world of raspberries, and the combo with leather is a total hit. With this Identity Oud Crescent, we take it to the next level by adding rose, oud, and frankincense to that mix. It’s seductive; first, you seduce yourself, and then you seduce others. It’s very well balanced; many Arabic perfumes are spicy and heavy, but here nothing is superfluous—everything has its place. If you’re worried about the oud, don’t be: it doesn’t smell like manure or act aggressively, so it won’t turn anyone off. If you like raspberries, this won’t disappoint. Among my favorites in this line: in designer, Forever Wanted Elixir or Oud Vanille by Franck Olivier if you’re looking for value; in niche, Flamenco Extracto; and in affordable Arabic perfumes, this one from Paris Corner is the king.
