Smells great, very similar to Xerjoff Naxos, but the trail and projection are almost non-existent.
It smells very good and is quite close to Xerjoff Naxos, but its projection and sillage are very weak.
Voux Élégante is sophisticated and full of character—a sweet-spiced blend with a tobacco base that leaves a mark without being heavy. It starts fresh with citrus and lavender, then turns seductive with jasmine, honey, and cashmere. The dry down is warm, featuring tobacco, vanilla, cardamom, and tonka bean. It’s comfortable and elegant, though it lacks the density and complexity of Naxos. For the price, it’s a well-constructed alternative, perfect for fall, winter, or night outs. Longevity is decent and projection is moderate.
It only has a vague resemblance to Naxos; I was disappointed. It smells like an old perfume, with tobacco and honey dominating. It’s not cheap here, so I feel I wasted my money. I’ll let it sit, but Arab perfumes are definitely not for me.
It doesn’t resemble Naxos at all; it’s the ugliest scent among the 300+ I know.
Does it have Naxos vibes? Yes, but from far away. It lacks the quality, nuances, longevity, and evolution. It’s very linear and stays at the opening note of Naxos. Still, it makes me a bit sick; it smells like Naxos opening with synthetic lemon and a lime note I don’t like. Nothing compared to Naxos.
Does it smell like Naxos? Yes, but barely. It lacks the quality, nuances, longevity, and evolution of Naxos. It’s very linear and stays stuck in Naxos’ opening. Plus, it smells like synthetic lemon and unpleasant lime to me. Nothing like Naxos.
I really like it. It has a strong, fresh opening (almost alcoholic), then turns slightly sweet and floral, drying down to honey and tobacco, which is what I notice the most. Ideal for daily wear. It lasts well on my skin and much longer on clothes. Soft and pleasant sillage.
It’s a good perfume for the price, but it falls short of Naxos. Same DNA, but different.
I love it. It starts strong and fresh, then turns sweet and floral, ending with honey and tobacco, which is what I notice the most. It’s great for daily wear. It lasts well on skin and even longer on clothes, with a soft and pleasant trail.
Very rich, smells like sweet lemon ‘lemon curd’ cream. Safe buy. It lacks projection and doesn’t last long, but the quality-to-price ratio is good.
Straightforward purchase, low risk of disappointment. If you like sweet, elegant perfumes with a zesty acidic twist, this is for you. It blends sophisticated sweetness without being cloying, adding a dynamic acidic touch. Very well-balanced, easy to enjoy, and sure to please many.
Very rich, it smells like that sweet lemon cream called ‘lemon curd’. Safe buy, although it lacks projection and doesn’t last long; I think the quality-to-price ratio is still good.
Blind buy and very rich. You can smell the honey, sweet but not cloying. The opening is synthetic like many Arab perfumes, but after a few seconds it smells high-quality. It reminds me of Joop Homme from ’93, just less invasive and more subtle. There’s a note that smells like cherry pills or gum—I know it’s not there, but my nose takes me there. Ideal for dates or quiet outings, not for standing out. I haven’t tried Naxos, but it’s worth it.
Tested on a decant, what a wonderful scent. Honey, a spicy menthol touch, and tobacco. I thought it would be another gourmand and was wrong. It’s worth it; it’s a real gem. Unisex but with a feminine vibe. Update after wearing it more (I’m not deleting my first review because that’s how fragrances are): it transports me back to my childhood, to my grandma’s perfumes for church. It still smells good, but it’s not for me; the honey sounds too soapy to me, like artisanal soap, and I think I’d get tired of it.
I don’t think it’s that faithful to the original; I’d say about 70%. At first, it smells different—the original is citrusy, while this Voux Elegant loses that touch and even has an animal note that Naxos doesn’t. As it dries down, they get more similar, but Naxos always has a delicious floral base that’s missing here. They’re easy to confuse in the air, but I can always tell them apart. For €30, it smells great, lasts over 6 hours, and has good projection, though it’s not the perfect clone.
I’ve tried several Naxos decants and have to say that, considering it costs €250, it’s insulting how similar this one smells. The differences are noticeable, but honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if many people liked this one more. I still need to see if it performs as well as it seems, but for the price, I highly recommend trying it; it surprised me.
I tested it and it’s almost identical. It’s more versatile than Naxos because it’s less sweet and the tobacco note is more wearable. I recommend it: it lasts about 8 hours and has a moderate sillage.
