This perfume needs to be tested on skin because the difference from the dry-down is significant. On skin, the opening is juicy red apple with a hint of raspberry; I don’t detect lychee or lemon here. In the heart, there’s a splendid lychee with an indistinct flower, and when it dries, it’s a soft sandalwood. It’s addictive; for some strange reason, it reminds me of my beloved Loewe Esencia Femme, which disappeared unjustly. I can’t stop smelling it; at this rate, I’ll finish the bottle in a month… Weak on longevity, but my batch is from February, so I hope it improves, though maybe I won’t even give it time.
I bought it blind and it was disappointing. It smells very much like apple, and the lychee is so synthetic it doesn’t even seem like lychee. It smells like clean apple, a bit like floor cleaner.
