Absolutely delicious! It lingers on everything you touch, lasts over 12 hours on skin and days on clothes. An exquisite scent for looking elegant. Not for my daily wear, but perfect for special occasions, work dinners, or when you want to put on a nice shirt and shine. Given its potency, best used in cooler or moderate weather. I bought it blind and have zero regrets. The price-to-quality ratio is unbeatable. A win-win all around!
So, what does it smell like?
Smells like rose, lots of rose, with violet and a powdery touch, along with a soft wood.
I bought it blind based on reviews and expected more. At first, it smells like tons of rose, like those essential oils sold to tourists in Bulgaria. Then it settles and the oud appears with a very subtle violet. Overall, it’s a shrill and linear scent. The trail isn’t good; it doesn’t project as expected, and the longevity is poor; after two hours, it’s skin scent. I’ll let it macerate for a while to see if it improves. By the way, it’s not as cheap as it used to be.
It smells like a drink from my country called Frescolita, a very sweet red-colored soda. It’s not manly and it’s quite cloying, much more than Scandal, and that’s saying a lot.
I bought it blind and lost this time. I expected unisex, but I find it very feminine. The opening of rose and talcum is strong; as it dries, you notice a very light oud with some wood, but it leans feminine. It reminds me of a ‘lady’s fragrance.’ It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s not my style.
I don’t recommend it. It smells terrible, like that classic rose hand soap. Also, it doesn’t last at all. I own the original MFK, and they have nothing in common.
I don’t recommend it. It smells terrible, like that typical rose hand soap. Plus, it doesn’t last at all. I have the original MFK, and they have nothing to do with each other.
No worth spending more than €250 on Oud Satin Mood if you have this fragrance. It’s not identical, but it’s very similar, just with less intensity, longevity, and a more synthetic, lighter oud. If you’re in love with the original Satin Mood, you’ll adore this.
Not worth spending more than €250 on Oud Satin Mood if you already own this fragrance. I’m not saying it’s identical—that would be a lie—but it’s very similar, just with less intensity, shorter longevity, and a synthetic, lighter oud. If you love the Satin Mood scent, you’ll fall in love with this.
Major disappointment. I bought it blind, and despite promising reviews, I can’t make myself like it. It sounds too synthetic and cloying. I’m not sure if it’s the emphasized violet or the rose, but the result is awful: it smells like hand soap with a rose scent and even my local soda, Kola Román. The oud also feels very artificial, though I think if it were more present, it would balance everything. What a pity. Don’t buy blind.
Major disappointment. I bought it blind, and despite seeing good reviews, I didn’t expect this. No matter how much I try it, I just don’t like this supposed Oud Satin Mood clone. It smells too synthetic and cloying, whether from the strong violet or the rose; the result is awful. It also smells like hand soap with a rose scent to me, and even like that Kola Román soda from my hometown. Plus, the oud feels very artificial, and I’m sure if there were more of it, it would balance everything out. Anyway… what a pity. Don’t buy it blind.
Very similar to MFK’s Oud Satin Mood. If you don’t like this inspiration, you won’t like the original either.
It seems like a 100% clone of MFK Oud Satin Mood. If this doesn’t hook you, forget about the original.
I’ve been wearing this for 3 years and the bottle is still almost full. It’s a woody oriental with powdery floral notes that make it super elegant. I recommend it for formal events; even if you have a Sauvage Elixir that costs ten times more, this has its own shine. It’s pure elegance, class, and poise. Since I only go to fancy events occasionally, it doesn’t fit for work, the movies, or casual outings. It’s very exclusive.
At first, it smells like baby powder and roses, like when they used to powder you as a baby. It gives me nostalgia, so I see it for sleeping or a special night out, not for everyday wear. Maybe lovers of vintage scents and roses will enjoy it. It doesn’t smell like oud at all, and while I love that note and tolerate it, it’s not present here. What I did like is how it dries down; that blend of violet and vanilla convinced me. Try it before buying.
Starts with talcum powder and roses, like you just got out of the shower. It gives me nostalgia, so I wear it for bedtime after a bath or maybe a formal night, but not for everyday. If you like classic, pinkish scents, you might enjoy it. The oud isn’t noticeable, which is good since I’m not a fan, though I tolerate it in low doses. What I really love is the dry down: the violet and vanilla blend at the end is great. Try it before buying.
