Characteristic aroma, not very natural, but with plenty of potential to appeal to younger people. The bottle is nice, dark with a gold cap, and elegant. It’s a bit sweet; I notice the citrus but not the iris. Predominantly nocturnal and reminiscent of Tous Man Intense. Effortless and refined, a good option for guys who want to smell good without spending a fortune and with enough longevity.
I used it again after forgetting about it for a while. I thought it would be something else, but I was wrong. I forgot its delicate sweetness with its faint boozy nuances. I love its creamy and powdery vibe. Not bad.
I spotted it while walking through a local perfume shop, and I’ll be straight: I only tested it from the atomizer. Bringing my nose close, I got a hit of intense vanilla and some liquor; I didn’t like it at all and didn’t apply it. Maybe I’ll try it again, but the first impression was terrible. I don’t know its longevity or sillage.
One of my favorites. That boozy, vanilla, and powdery mix drives me crazy. It was a gift from someone special, so I like it even more. Lasts 6-8 hours, and easily over 10 if worn close to the skin. Highly recommended. Longevity 8/10, Sillage 8/10, Scent 10/10, Performance 10/10. Sexy and conquering fragrance, perfect for close encounters 🔥🔥🔥
Delicious, seductive, and nocturnal aroma. I’m not sure how long it lasts, but it definitely messes with my hormones 🙊
Starts citrusy and woody, but evolves into powdery leather, citrus, bitter, and sweet all at once. It’s unusual and pleasant. Not very versatile; not for heat or casual occasions, but great for night or leather-and-black-glasses looks. Ideal for smelling different and enigmatic, though I don’t recommend buying blind. Minimum age 20. Lasts at least 8 hours with moderate sillage. In Mexico, it’s affordable (125ml) and worth it if you’re looking for sweetened leather. Versatility 7, Longevity 9, Projection 8, Price 10, Overall Rating 8.5.
Excellent EDT with a great price-to-performance ratio. The blend of daiquiri, vanilla, and powdery leather spiced with cardamom is a perfect combo. Price 10, longevity 6, sillage 6, projection 6. Best regards from Argentina.
Smells just like its sibling, Halloween Man, but softer and more powdery. If the original feels too cloying for you, this is the fix.
I was thinking of trying Halloween Man X, but these reviews convinced me to give this version a shot. It’s sweet without being cloying, perfect for autumn. Works in the daytime (with caution) or is better for night outs at bars or dates. Very seductive and memorable. Notes of cardamom, vanilla, liquor, and soft leather. Lasts 5-6 hours with good personal sillage but present projection. The cap doesn’t close well and the atomizer is basic, but you can’t ask for more at this price point. Best for ages 20+.
The cardamom, daiquiri, and vanilla remind me of Issey Miyake’s La Nuit, but this Shot is more powdery. Perfect for cool climates, winter, or night events. Leaves a pleasant trail and is my favorite Halloween scent.
I’d say it’s a blend of Montblanc Legend Night and Armani Code Absolu Gold. I already had the regular Halloween Man, I have the X, the X is the most hyped, but I think this Shot is the best, the most elegant, and the most seductive of all I’ve tried.
Very rich fragrance: sweet but not cloying, soft and powdery, with lots of cardamom and vanilla. Disappointing projection and longevity; on my skin, after 3 hours, it’s barely perceptible. The trail is soft; the first 40-60 minutes get me lots of compliments and I notice the scent quite a bit, but then it decreases until it disappears. By 4-5 hours, I don’t even feel it on my skin and very little on clothes. The price is comfortable, so you can reapply without issues. I’d like to try the X; judging by the reviews, it seems like a bomb compared to this, to test longevity and projection. Scent 9/10, Longevity 5/10, Projection 4/10, Price 9/10. If you don’t mind reapplying or carrying a decant everywhere, I highly recommend it. If you’re looking for something to last all day at work, I absolutely don’t recommend it. Honestly, the aroma is very rich.
I think the scent is very common in men’s fragrances for cold climates. Here in Mty, Mexico, it’s very hot, and if you wear it at 25 degrees or above, it’ll give you a headache. It’s for nighttime and fresh use; otherwise, it’ll give you a headache. It’s potent at first but fades very quickly, lasting maybe 2 hours at most. I recommend saving a bit more and buying something of better quality.
Very pleasant, but a bit discreet. Starts with a noticeable alcohol that fades almost immediately. Then come the vanilla, cardamom, and iris, creating a soft, sweet, and pleasant scent for most. It doesn’t evolve over time: starts alcoholic, and a few minutes later, the smell stays the same until it’s gone. I see it for intimate occasions, like going to the movies or dinner. It has a nice presentation; I’ve had it for three years, it’s a heavy, attractive glass with a good atomizer like the rest of the HALLOWEEN line. Not much trail; it’s almost a personal bubble; you have to be close for them to notice. Given the low cost, I don’t mind applying more to be noticed in enclosed spaces. Longevity on skin is about 4 hours. Summary: I recommend it for the price and because you can reapply. A pleasing and somewhat sensual fragrance, best used with a female companion. No age limit, but I don’t see it for people over 40. Scent 7.7/10, Longevity 4.5/10, Projection 4/10, Price 8.5/10.
It’s a copy of D&G’s The One, though with minimal variations, leaning more towards Prada L’homme. It’s a good fragrance and doesn’t change much as it dries down.
This is the second perfume from Jesús del Pozo’s house I own; the other is Halloween Man Rock On. Both lack good projection and longevity; although this Shot improves on both aspects, it still doesn’t stand out among the Halloween line. At first, I notice a strong alcoholic lime note; they say it’s daiquiri, and yes, it’s an acidic explosion, like squeezing a lime on your face, but not annoying. Once that passes (in 2 or 3 minutes), the most notable thing is the iris with a delicious creamy vanilla. The smell is quite powdery but pleasant, nothing cloying. Projection is very low; if you’re not close, they won’t notice. Longevity is better than Rock On (this lasts 2-4 hours on skin and 5-6 on clothes, while the Shot reaches 5-7 on skin and 8-9 on clothes), but it still feels like a bubble stuck to the skin. Ideal for dates or intimate moments; the creamy vanilla is very attractive and not bothersome. Not recommended for parties or daytime, because with heat and sweat, the scent becomes unbearable. In summary, for $20-30 it’s a great exclusive perfume for going to the movies, eating out, or grabbing coffee. Very good for the price, hope to try the X soon.
A bit disappointed by its short longevity. I put it on two and a half hours ago, and it’s already hard to smell on the skin.
If you combined all the recommended fragrances for a night out, this Halloween Man Shot would be the result. It’s the perfect summary of a warm scent blending the sexy cardamom of La Nuit de L’Homme, the amber notes of Armani Code Profumo and Absolu, Montblanc Legend Night, and D&G The One with that iris giving it elegance and a creamy feel. The only downside is it doesn’t last long, but since it’s affordable, you can apply more and use a decant to refresh. Highly recommended.
I’m not a perfume expert, but I read tons of good reviews before buying it. The scent itself isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have a very refined nose; it can sound outdated, boring, or even cheap, like what you’d find at Avon (lol). My girlfriend said it sounded familiar, and yes, it also seemed generic to me, like the cologne guys over 30 used to wear a few years ago. Not recommended for young people; better suited for 28+ or older. It’s not bad, just for certain people and specific occasions.
No one knows what to think, haha. Some say it smells like The One, others like Valentino, but honestly, it has nothing to do with either, haha.
It smells similar to L’Homme by YSL and almost identical to Night Pour Homme III by Zara, but I notice less iris and more sweetness in this one. I like this one more, and at this price, I recommend it.
What can I say about Halloween Shot? I’ve been testing it for weeks and I like it. The bottle has an interesting design: gold on top and a gradient from black to gray. In terms of scent, at first it smells a bit alcoholic with a spicy acidic touch for 3 to 5 minutes, probably evoking daiquiri, pepper, and lime. Then it moves to that sweet creamy note combined with something powdery, likely cardamom and iris. On my skin, it feels very sharp; the heart is sweet, creamy, and powdery. A classy, natural, and elegant perception. The trail is moderate-soft, about 50 cm around you. For a casual night out, it lasts about 2 hours with you and then stays close to the skin. The base notes are dry leather and ambered, probably some wood resin. It’s worth having; it’s not easy to find in Colombia. It costs around 250,000 pesos or less. I recommend it for going out with friends and girls; they might like it, it’s not invasive. Some of us agree to carry a refillable perfume atomizer to reapply.
Fantastic fragrance right out of the bottle and as it dries down, but unfortunately it fades to its bare minimum after 2-3 hours. Perfect for a short outing or if you can reapply, as it generates compliments.
If you read the notes, it seems like the most enchanting night lotion, but the truth is it’s more than that. The price-to-performance ratio is excellent and it’s worth it, but don’t go in with high expectations if you buy blind. I would have liked more cardamom and less liquor, something that would give it more personality. It’s elegant and rich, but smells a bit generic. I liked the bottle quite a bit. 7.5/10.
Piola.
Excellent for night, even when it’s hot. Perfect for applying under the chin and chest so you smell occasionally. It’s not overpowering, and one or two sprays are enough if you’re looking for something close to the skin.
I really like Halloween Shot for its scent and presentation, but its sillage and longevity are problematic. It projects for an hour and then stays very soft for another 5 hours before almost disappearing entirely. I only wear it at the office because I have to reapply three times a day. It’s in the style of Dolce & Gabbana’s The One or Carolina Herrera’s CH Privé: spicy, leather, and vanilla. If you want something intimate that everyone will like, this is the option.
Not bad; I bought it blindly looking for something cheap for cold nights. At first, it smells like a 70-year-old lady’s perfume with a masculine twist, haha. Then, as it dries down, that scent fades and it becomes more masculine, with peppery and creamier notes. It’s not ideal for young people, though a guy could wear it—it just doesn’t smell youthful. I don’t dislike it; I’d gift it to my dad, it would suit him better. I’m not an expert, but this is my opinion.
Smells great. On my skin, it lasts about 3 hours close to the skin and projects for a maximum of an hour. Good value for the price.
Don’t buy this for anyone. It smells nice at first, but once it dries down, it smells like grandma. My aunt uses the same one, and now I feel old. Best regards…
I bought this perfume a while ago and I love the heck out of it; it’s a creamy dry down with vanilla, leather, and very rich wood notes. It lasts about 10 hours, has good projection, and the price is very good.
Without a doubt, it’s the ideal scent for a quiet bar night. It’s not showy; it makes you feel relaxed because it won’t leave you down with two or three compliments. Best for ages 18-32. I can’t imagine a girl wearing it. It’s a sophisticated masculine scent, not intense. It leaves you wanting more. The sillage is short, so it also works in the office or work without moving around much; otherwise, it disappears quickly. It’s affordable and, despite that, not mass-produced. At least it doesn’t seem like a deodorant scent.
For Chileans with a fragile masculinity, used to stinking like butt or knee like @rustikbass, don’t use this. If you’ve always used Axe or Hugo Boss, I don’t recommend it. Recommended for confident men. It’s a close fragrance, better for encounters where you’re near someone’s neck. Women love that leather and cardamom, sweetened by vanilla and sophisticated with iris. It’s not crazy on projection, which makes it ideal for getting close to the girl and staying nearby. It lasts as long as the encounter does *wink wink*.
A sexy and coquettish fragrance based on leather and vanilla; its sweet and charismatic aroma could draw curious glances on a night out. The sillage isn’t too pronounced but is noticeable, making it perfect for a date. Ideal perfume for the romantic man.
I love that it has iris; it slightly reminds me of Armani Code Parfum because of that note, but the difference is that this one lasts a bit—no more than 4 hours—but it’s still pleasant to use occasionally.
It doesn’t remind me of anything; La Nuit de L’Homme is more similar to Dolce & Gabbana The One EDP.
I’ve never used it, but I know it; it’s a subtle nod to Armani Code. Just that Armani Code projects more, lasts longer, and has a wider sillage. It smells sweet, delicious, and heavily of incense (an undeclared note, but it’s there). It’s discontinued, and I found it on Mercado Libre for almost $3k; for me, it’s not worth paying that much. Maybe at a lower price, but not for that amount. And it smells very good, more than good.
It’s a fragrance that doesn’t remind me of anything specific, but it’s pleasant and not overly alcoholic. As it dries down, it feels powdery (literally talcum) with a floral touch, which I think is the iris. It’s warm (not sweet), incredible for day or night, school, or the office in cool/temperate weather. With just a few sprays, it’s intimate, but with 7-8 sprays, you’ll surely get good compliments. It lasts 5-6 hours with decent projection for about an hour, without an incredible sillage. It’s not a spectacular fragrance, but I like it; my dad uses it too, so it’s a great option for a dad or a young man wanting a good aura in the cold. It’s not for a specific age, but since it’s not spectacular, I don’t recommend buying blind—try it first! A few days ago I tested L’Homme by YSL, and it reminded me of Man Shot: this one is warmer, while L’Homme is fresher for the office.
It’s my go-to for going out or dates; I love the vanilla touch and how the iris keeps it from feeling too powdery, without being cloying. I use it often and recommend it. The only downside is it doesn’t last long, but I absolutely love it.
Intense and warm with iris, cardamom, leather, and vanilla, plus a cocktail twist. I tried it and yes, it smells like vanilla iris—perfect for Halloween!
